Floor Coverings International and Rick was an absolute nightmare to work with. Our initial estimate was provided, and a month later, after getting multiple other quotes, we went back to Rick. Only to find out the quote went up another $400 because "costs are increasing". That should've been a red flag right there, but with 5 star reviews we thought we would move forward. We picked the carpet and Rick said "There is inventory of the product so it will take about a week to get the carpet then set up the install". This was April 16 and I paid our deposit that day. Rick made excuses for the carpet not being in within a week - he had to "come back to measure because he needed to make sure he had enough product" (April 29). Carpet finally arrived and install was set for May 13. The installer arrived an hour early. The first installer went downstairs to get to work. As I was sitting in my living room a man walked into my house, no knock or ring, and barged in and went straight to the basement. I was mortified and shocked. The installers that Rick chose were so absolutely unprofessional. They were swearing the entire time "we don't have a f****** hammer gun", "we weren't f****** told we need to do that". They took a few hours to install and left, without saying goodbye or that they had finished. We walked downstairs and I immediately cried. It looked horrible. The seams were right in your face visible, the stairs were so bad you could see the wood beneath them on the sides, and there was carpet peeling up already and our freshly painted walls were destroyed! I immediately sent Rick pictures, he came by the next day and assured us we would have it all fixed. I had to be the one to communicate and reach out to Rick. He became nonresponse, didn't let me know when the new carpet was in and cancelled the day before install at noon, stating install was moved to later in the week without my confirmation that we're available. Finally carpet install day arrived and it went flawless. The installer was much more friendly and seemed like he cared more than the first two. After the job was done we headed down and it looked great, at first. Then, we saw our walls again, were destroyed. But this time all of our corners were scraped down to the corner bead and even one of the corner bead was RIPPED FROM THE WALL! Rick tried to offer $100 for sheetrock and paint repairs to "close the job". It was a complete slap in the face. I called various sheetrock companies and got quotes $600-800 for repairs and Rick said "I'll get my own contactor not paying that" . They tried to get a handyman guy come out to fix the sheetrock when our sheetrock was professionally done by a sheetrock contractor. Another slap in the face. After much back and forth Rick finally agreed to letting us fix our damaged walls and buy more paint. Finally mid-August we just closed out this job with Rick and Floor Coverings International. I HIGHLY WOULD NOT recommend Rick or his company for any of your flooring needs.

Al got a little lost in meeting us for the first appointment. He reviewed our requirements and showed us some samples. We selected a sample and gave Al the down payment for the work. Later on in the week, Al notified us that the sample that we had selected was no longer available. He and Linda (his wife) came over later in the week and brought more samples for us to choose. We selected a sample and scheduled the installation. The sample was a little delayed in coming but we had allocated enough time to meet our deadline. Jim ( the installer) came in and tore up the carpet(as he was expected to do) and put in the flooring for our master bathroom. The next day he came back and installed the tiles in both bathrooms. Jim remarked that this was good tile since his knife was getting dull from cutting it. There was a concern regarding the abutment of carpet and tile. Al came over and had his carpet installer finish the abutment and it looks great. On the whole we were pleased with the job.

Went very well. Work done was completed within time estimate, and gets lots of positive comments.

Good w/one glitch. Original installer didn't show up. FCI arranged for another installer, and credited me $100 for the inconvenience.

tJob was completed to our complete satisfaction. Provider came and inspected the work and asked if we were happy with the job.

It turned out good. Everything met my expectations. They got the job done in one day.

They did a great job. They were very thorough and very attentive. The quality of the work was fine. They were very good and I would recommend them. We had one issue with the seam and they came right back and fixed it. They also follow up a year later to make sure everything is still okay. They did a beautiful job with all of it. They use high quality laminate and it looked really good.

They were great. They had specialty good installers and the product was fine. The scheduling was easy. They got the job done right on schedule, and showed up right on time. I will use them again in the future.

They answered my inquiry immediately. They came and looked at it and made a reasonable offer. They did the work a couple of days later, and I am very pleased with it.

Sandra was very professional and personable. When helping us choose colors for our main living spaces she took into consideration the flooring type and color, the colors and tone of our granite, the color and tone of our kitchen cabinets, the natural lighting, the furnishings, and our personal preferences for color. She brought several fan decks of color options with her along with larger color samples that helped us visualize what the color would look like on our walls. By the end of our time, we had chosen all of our colors for our main level. We love our new colors and they compliment all of the other elements in our home.
