+ -1 moreMaybe it's a Minnesota thing, but I never paid for someone to come out and give me an estimate on work before I moved here. Not once in 15 years of home ownership in multiple states. But here you can't find a plumber or HVAC person with the integrity to come out and convince you they want your business. I contacted this company about 2 things where I knew exactly what was wrong--I needed a new gas line to my furnace and wanted to install a thermostat. They wanted a diagnostic fee for each and then said they couldn't even do it because of "liability reasons." What a joke.
