A to Z Bathroom Remodeling Experts

This was a great remodeling experience. We've done several bathroom remodels so we know what we want. Val and his crew were very responsive and proactive at every stage. We couldn't be happier. We will hire them again on any other remodeling job if they are available!

This review is a bit late, sorry Val! This is the 2nd time I have used this company. They remodeled my 1st floor bath a few years ago and did an excellent job. They continued to do an excellent job with my basement bath, as well. I do not have a lot of money, and Val worked with me to figure out ways to bring the price down: like my purchasing the toilet, sink, and tiles on my own. I did alter what I wanted done 3 times and Val was very patient and accommodating. The workers were very conscientious and did a beautiful job. They went out of their way; for ex., they modified the top of the bathroom door to stabilize it, which I greatly appreciated. They seem to take pride in the work they do and it showed. I am very happy with my bathroom and everyone who has seen it has been impressed.

Contractor removed appliances from kitchen as well as island before beginning project. The work was done in a timely manner and the price did not exceed the bid. They replaced the floor moulding and reattached the silestone top of our island with silicone caulk and secured with screws which had not been done by original installer.

Really happy with our new bathroom. They took off old tile, put in new tile, refinished the old tub, layed vinyl flooring and fitted the vanity and toilet. They turned up on time, had great communication and overall know what they doing. Will work with them in the future for sure, thanks. Val was the project manager and he is great to work with

Excellent - work was completed on time, the team was skilled and provided advice on certain decisions based on a lot of experience, they also took time to ask questions to make sure it was done right.

From start to finish, it went very smoothly. They gutted and refinished our bathroom including electrical, ceiling, walls, tile floor, etc all in one week! The finished bathroom looks amazing! I would recommend them to anyone!

Total pro: on time, returns calls, answers questions, worked so hard and long I felt sorry for him, cleaned up,used tarps, fairly priced. Did my home work getting bids. Val was the only contractor that knew what caused the issue and how to remedy it.

Everything went as smoothly as usual: I was immediately contacted, had my appointment set up quickly, and the work was done carefully and professionally. The kitchen looks beautiful again. My only regret is that I didn't contact them sooner!

My project involved the total remodel of one bathroom, plus the removal and replacement of tile for a second bathroom and dressing room. The new shower and all floor tile is Carrara marble. Val's bid was detailed and thorough, and was a fair price for the work to be performed. The project took two weeks. Val's employees were diligent, hard-working and very polite. Sergey did an excellent job cutting and fitting seven types of marble tile. He is a true craftsman and his work was very precise. They finished on time, and left my home as clean as it was before. I've had a lot of remodeling done over the years, and this was my best experience ever. Val was so responsive at all phases of the project, quickly addressing any questions or issues, that I never had to worry about a thing. I highly recommend Val Shargorodskiy and A to Z Contracting to anyone who wants their home improvement project to be high quality work done on time and on budget.

The whole process went smooth and according to plan and schedule; contractor explained the work, insurance claim process, etc. very clearly and straightforward.

Very well. Val's team was prompt courteous and very neat! They cleaned up completely every day, their work was excellent and the tile work near perfect. Val made some useful suggestions on the final design that really improved the final look of the bathroom. They started on time and finished on time( 5 days). Everything is plumb and square, all lines are straight and there are no leaks in the plumbing

Excellent service, very punctual and responsive. The person they work with for the tub reglazing did a great job and made a 30-yr old, ugly tub look new again.

We hired A to Z about a month ago, and the remodel went well. The final product is beautiful and we're happy with how it looks. Communication with Val was prompt and courteous. His men were very professional, too. We got ceramic tile put in, water damaged subfloor taken out, and replaced our toilet. 3 day project. We gave them an overall "B" rating (it could be a B+, even), because there was minor confusion with the estimate descriptions and pricing, and what ended up happening. I had to reach out for follow ups instead of being told there was a change in plan. Don't get me wrong, we're happy with the results, like I said, but the process was a bit more stressful than anticipated because of slight confusion on both ends. Advice to anyone for any kind of contracting job: always get a detailed estimate with labor broken down individually. It'll save you a headache and an awkward conversation. In the end though, we are pleased with the new bathroom, we would hire them again and recommend them to our friends.

The contractor did an excellent job removing the nasty old caulk around the tub and replacing it with extremely tidy new mold-proof silicon caulking. The price included labor and supplies, which was nice because there were no surprises. I'd definitely hire them again.

Val was responsive when I inquired about a quote. After receiving the quote I took almost two months to follow-up and he was immediately responsive and we set a start date for the project. This was pretty small, a narrow tile wall in my bathroom removed, replaced with drywall, painted, and then installation of an IKEA sink (which can be tricky with their plumbing). The project was completed about three weeks ago, it looked fantastic just as I wanted, and I've had no problems or cause for complaints in three weeks of use so far. I would definitely seek out A to Z again for additional work.

It went well. They were good at doing some miscellaneous things that other contractors wouldn't (some drywall repair from a toilet leak, subfloor, toilet install). They did a great job leveling the floor and making this flooring work well for the space and proper support. They are very quality workmanship for the flooring in particular. We used porcelain 1'x2' tile and they used this well to make our small bathroom seem larger.

They did a great job. We had a miscommunication issue since the workers at my house did not speak English, but I worked with the owner and he was very accommodating to get the problem resolved in a timely manner.
