Description of Work: We had A to Z come out to install glass tile in a tub/shower surround. The guys were very professional and did a nice job. They even agreed to come back and fix a mistake made by Kohler when they sent the wrong size for the door frame- very helpful.

Description of Work: Val and the team at A to Z Tile are the best. They remodeled our bathroom and we are thrilled with the results. During the process they immediately addressed any concerns we had and made changes as requested. They transformed a 1940's bathroom into something very beautiful. They are hard workers and priced reasonably. We would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Complete remodel of main bath. Demo old bath down to studs. Rebuild bath and my faith in the American workforce. Val the owner of the company is straightforward , hardworking and most importantly honest. I would recommend listening to his advice, it will save you not only time and money but quite possibly your sanity. Everyone he brought in from the electrician to the guys doing the drywall were professional and did amazing work. This was my first remodel and had naïvely scheduled a week for the project. It turned out taking over 3 weeks , mostly because of the city inspectors ( stay away! ... my building is over 100 years old ) and another company that I had contracted to build my vanity and cabinets. I would highly recommend Val and his team and I must say , it feels good to finally be able to write a positive review !

Description of Work: Val and his dad did an excellent job in our bathroom! It went from old and ugly to spectacular in just 4 days!!! They removed the old tub, toilet, floor and tiles and made it all brand new. We purchased the tiles ourselves so we got exactly what we wanted. They were always on time and were respectful of our home. Val confirmed what we wanted each step of the project and used his expertise to make our bathroom look fabulous! He even replaced the faucet on our old sink for us. We are VERY pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a bathroom remodel.

We graded price a B because we felt like it was a little high but we didn't get any other estimates and based on the quality of their work it was worth the price! Val is very easy to work with, he was very responsive to my initial inquiry to scheduling a bid to showing up when he said he would. Description of Work: We have a large walk in shower, the mud pan was cracked. A to Z, pulled up the tile, installed a new pan, then re tiled the shower floor. After 3 days it looks better than it did new.

Description of Work: Demolished old plastic shower and floor in the bathroom, took off all the wallpaper from the walls in the bathroom, took off toilet, sink, mirror, lights. Installed new shower rubber pan-liner, new shower curb, new shower valve. Installed over 200 square feet of GRANITE tile, grouted in between, and sealed all granite tile. Installed Toilet, Sink, Mirror, and lights back on.

Description of Work: VAL WAS CONTRACTED TO LAY CERAMIC TILE IN MY BASEMENT BATHROOM. HE SHOWED UPTO MY HOUSE ON 10/9/06 & BEGAN THE WORK. 10/10/06 HE C/BACK TO GROUT THE TILES. UPON COMPLETION & INSPECTION, I NOTICED THE TILES WERE CHIPPED, UNEVENLY SPACED & THE GROUT WAS FALLING OUT IN CERTAIN AREAS. SEVERAL TILES WERE CHIPPED & USED ANYWAY LEAVING A DANGEROUSLY SHARP EDGE ON THE WALL. I CALLED & INFORMED HIM I WASN'T SATISFIED W/THE JOB & REQTED HE COME OVER TO LOOK AT IT. HE CAME BACK & STATED THE JOB WAS GOOD & HE WAS EXPECTING TO BE PAID. I TOLD HIM THAT I WASN'T HAPPY W/THE FACT THAT HE'D USED CHIPPED TILES. I TOLD HIM THAT I EXPECTED HIM TO TAKE OUT THE CHIPPED TILES & REPLACE THEM. HE SAID NO, I 'M NOT GOING TO DO THAT. I TOLD HIM THAT I MAY HAVE TO HIRE ANOTHER PERSON TO REPAIR THE WORK & DEDUCT IT FROM HIS BILL. HE BECAME VERY ANGRY & UNPROFESSIONAL. BUYER BEWARE! ANGIE’S LIST READERS: THEY HAVE BEEN AND CONTINUE TO BE DISHONEST AND DECEITFUL IN THEIR RENDITION OF THE EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE.

Description of Work: JOB 1 ($4,350): REMODELED BATHROOM AND SHOWER, REPLACED PENLINER IN THE SHOWER, TILED FLOOR AND WALLS AND WHIRLPOOL AREA. ALSO TILED MY ENTRYWAY. JOB 2 ($3,265): INSTALLED STONE AROUND FIREPLACE, AND INSTALLED A NEW SHOWER STALL.
