A to Z Bathroom Remodeling Experts

E-mailed Val (A to Z Tile) and asked him to give me an estimate on replacing carpet in walk-in closet in master bedroom with ceramic tile. He was here about two days later to take a look and e-mailed an estimate shortly after. Val had two of his guys come over on Dec. 1st. (Nice guys. Felt very comfortable having them in my home.) They got the floor prepared and the tile laid in a few hours and said they would be back on Wens to grout. Sure enough, there they were Wednesday morning to finish the job. The closet looks great! I trust Val, like the guys he had do the job and love the final product. Will definitely call A to Z for any future tile work.

The team was very professional and did a great job. I contacted Val and he came out to bid my job within a couple days. He was able to schedule a time that worked with me. They had everything fixed and installed in less than 1 day. Through talking with the team on the day of install, I learned they installed the shower floors in the skilled nursing facility that I work at. The floors have been there for at least 7 years and has been used several times a day, every day. They still look great! I would use this company again.

I recently used A to Z Tile & Stone Inc to help remodel several bathrooms in my home. I am very glad that I chose A to Z Tile for my project and I could not have been more pleased with their performance. Val and his team were highly professional - being prompt, courteous, and highly skilled tiling experts. I had a lot of questions about the design and materials before the project started. Val was very responsive in communication and also very patient with me from the beginning to the end. It was very impressive! He and his team assisted with the tiling design as well as consulting on various materials and tile selections. I have to say A to Z Tile team they are hard working people! Their work was completed on time, on budget and beyond my expectations. Every bathroom looks beautiful as well as the stone wall in the hall way ! We are now working on a basement remodel project and are excited about the opportunity to work with Val and his team again!

This is the second time A to Z has done tile work for me. I own a duplex, and he has re-done the tile in the bathrooms in both units now. He does outstanding work at a reasonable price. He is punctual and professional and very easy to work with. He calls with any questions along the way and explains the work in a way that is easy to understand. My bathroom tub/shower area was buckling, and he removed the tile, repaired the damage (a plumbing issue), and re-tiled the wall. It looks just great now!

We've used A to Z for all the tile work and repair in our house. I appreciate Val's responsiveness, honesty, and skill which is why I'll continue to use them. Our kitchen had some loose tiles that were improperly installed by the previous owner of our house. Val came in and replaced the loose tile and re-grouted in less than two hours. It was a simple job, but a huge timesaver for me to have a professional come in so I can spend more time with my newborn. I would highly recommend A to Z Tile to anybody.

Everything went very smoothly. I wasn't sure what the flooring would be like beneath the old vanity, and the new one was on legs. After they hauled the old one away, I had to find someone to fix the flooring (hardwood, not tile) before they could continue. Val made sure to get back as soon as possible to finish the work once that was done. We have used A to Z several times, and they have always done quality work for an unbelievably low price.

He did a great job of repairing a shower drain that was improperly installed by the previous owner. He came timely and worked efficiently and was done in 3 days. No more leaks and I love the look of the shower now. Awesome!!

The owner came out to look at the floor to make sure the job was doable. When the installers tore out my old linoleum they found several old layers. They came up with a way to. Do the job, and did it quite well. They were pleasant, worked hard and fast and seemed to know what they were doing.

Work was done quickly and very professionally. A to Z removed and re-installed the toilet and vanity. Also, our bathroom is a little out of alignment (one end is slightly wider than the other.) This made it a bit tricky to have the tile and edging lay straight, but Val was able to make it look great. I would definitely use A to Z Tile again.

It went great, the work was completed on time and it looks fabulous. I will definitely use A to Z tile when I remodel my other bathroom.

It went very well! They were dependable, and worked every day on our project until it was complete. It took about 5 days. They were excellent problem solvers. When something unexpected turned up, they understood both the problem and the solution. Our tile looks wonderful, thanks to their diligent attention to every detail. They also gave us good advice when it came to paint colors and how to use the accent tiles for maximum design impact.

Val and team were extremely competent and thorough in their work. We had them install tiles around the shower in our basement bathroom and they did such a nice job we contracted them to work on our upstairs bathroom as well. The team is very professional, very meticulous and do a fine job cleaning up after. They take pride in their work and Val is very knowledgeable and a great source of information regarding tiles, design patterns etc. We would heartily recommend Val and his team for any tile work you would need done!

Our original contractor installed the tile less than a year ago and it was already popping off the walls in certain areas. We contacted Val to take a look to see if he could repair the areas that were failing. After discussing our options and finding out how reasonable Val's price for redoing the surround, we decided to have the entire surround redone. In addition, as we were doing the tile, we asked about the cost of doing wainscoting around the entire bathroom wall and Val, again, gave us a very reasonable price, so we went ahead with that project as well. They were able to get started almost immediately after meeting with us (due to so unexpected openings in their schedule) and finished in a timely manner. The end product was great and really helped us when we were in a pinch.

I was very impressed by their responsiveness and they completed the work quickly. The delivery of the shower doors was delayed a few days (our fault not A to Z Tile & Stone) and when they arrived, Val and his team came over the same day to install them. Overall, were were very pleased with the work and will refer them to others.

The tiling of the bathroom went well. The glass mosaic accents look great. I'm very happy with the work A to Z did. However, the subcontractor they use to refinish bathtubs is subpar (See review for BathCrest Metro, Inc.). That's why I'm giving them a B for quality.

Val was very easy to work with-another estimator seemed negative and tried to talk me out of having the tiles to the ceiling but Val did it no problem and it is beautiful. The one thing that was not quite finished to my expectations, was attended to very promptly and I was very happy with the overall result. Thank, Val!

Val initially came to our condo, examined and treasured the work, and promptly forwarded a description of the work and an estimate. He suggested a good tile seller and gave me the info to get his discounts. He was busy for several weeks, but we arranged the work at a mutually good time. The work was started promptly, with good prep, covering our floor, etc. and started the work with his runner. He was very careful to measure the condition of the exposed area and tell us what was needed to do it right. He removed and disposed of the materials he took down from the walls using bags to limit dust and dirt. He was very respectful of not only our space, but also the common areas. He showed up as promised, worked very carefully and explained what he was doing and why. Lots of hard work in close quarters. The work took five days, and was well done.

They were able to start the project ahead of time and finished within the time frame given. The bathroom looks great and the tile was installed perfectly.

I found A To Z Tile and Stone on Angie's, called Val and left a message. He returned my call pretty quickly, within a day. I described what I needed done and set up an appointment for him to take a look at the work involved. When he arrived he was very pleasant, very knowledgeable and very confident he could correct the mistakes and poor workmanship left behind by my previous contractor. A price and schedule were agreed. Val is very busy (draw your own conclusions as to why) so I had to wait several weeks before he could take care of the various issues. When the day finally arrived, he showed up on time with a helper and proceeded to knock all the issues out the park in just a few hours. All the work he did was done extremely well. Especially the flooring in the closet which looks amazing now. Removing the two floor tiles from the bathroom entryway was tricky to say the least. The potential for damaging the other tiles around them and the adjacent shower step was pretty high, but he managed it with no fuss. I was so happy with the work Val did in my downstairs bathroom, I asked him to replace the grout seams in my upstairs bathroom with silicone. That looks great now too. In summary, here's what I know. Val is polite, courteous, very professional and highly skilled. Bottom line is, if you need tiling work done properly and professionally the first time, call Val. I'll be glad you did. Thanks Val!

This was an Excellent experience! We scheduled an in home estimate on Thursday and had been told the work could be completed the following week. By the we called back to schedule the work later that day the following week had booked so we were offered an appointment on Saturday morning. AtoZ showed up on time, got the work done quickly, left no mess whatsoever, and the work was completed with excellent quality. We were very impressed with the quick response and extremely fast turn around! AtoZ, thanks for your flexibility, speed, and quality of work!

I had contacted the company on a Friday and Val responded the following Monday. He was very apologetic for not getting back to me the same day. We scheduled a time for an estimate and when he came out I knew immediately that he was very knowledgeable and understood what I wanted done. I had gotten two other estimates that included cost of material and labor that were three times more than my budget. Val's estimate was for labor only. However, he gave me exact quantities for each part of the work to be done. Once I had picked out my tile and stone, he took the time to meet with me again and give me his advice on the materials. On the day work was to start, he and another man showed up promptly. They laid out drop cloths from the door to the bathroom ensuring my carpet would not get dirty. The work took a week ( as promised) and the end result was more amazing than I anticipated. He has a keen eye for detail. I would not hesitate to use him in the future. I only wish I had known about Val sooner for previous projects!

They were great! The bathroom is amazing and exactly what I wanted. The guys were sometimes late but always showed up and cleaned up after themselves. They were also very patient with me when I accidently messed up one of the tiles and they had to re-do a few of them the next morning! The only issue we had in the first few months after the bathroom was done was that a few of the towel bars were not installed correctly and they fell off the wall. Val responded right away to my emails and they returned promptly to fix them. The work is beautiful and precise and they clearly take pride in their work. I would use them again.

Called Val to get an estimate for the work and he was out the next day. The pricing was great and we schedule the work for the next week. The crew showed up right on time. We talked about what needed to be done, Val's brother John gave some good suggestions to make the installation better. The tiling was completed in one day with the grouting and caulking the next. All I can say is that they do beautiful work! I really appreciated their keeping us informed through the entire job. When they ran into potential problems they let me know right away, offered suggestions and we talked through it. I'd recommend these guys in a heart beat and I'll use them for any future tile projects. Great experience!
