QUALITY TREE SVC

Barry Rosenau, the owner of Quality Tree Service, came out to look at the tree which was in a position where it could take out our power lines or an ornamental fence if it fell the wrong way. He said his service charged a minimum of $200 for a service call, and indicated that, plus state sales tax, would be the price. He returned with his crew later in the week and took down the tree in sections to minimize chances of damage. He did a great job for a very fair price and I will be using Quality Tree Service again. I called Barry (owner) and he came to my home that same day to look at the dead pine tree I wanted removed. He also showed me that another tree next to it was dead (or very close to it) and agreed to do both trees for the price quoted. I told him that he could have his crew show up on their own schedule, and they were at my house two days later. They work FAST! They cut down both trees, cut them into smaller pieces, and ran all of one tree and most of the second one through their chipper. They stacked up the leftover wood for me and cleaned up the mess beautifully. Barry suggested I put a and quot;free firewoodand quot; sign on the leftovers, which was a good idea - beats my having to haul it away. (Barry had offered to have his crew come back later for the pieces as part of the price, but I told him not to.) The price I'd been quoted was $285 for both trees. Other services had quoted me $300 for just the one tree. I was really very satisfied with the service, especially the way they cleaned up everything after and asked me questions about how I wanted it done. We left the stumps in place - they're out of the way and cut low, so it wasn't worth the bother. I would definitely use these folks again if I needed those services.
