I called Troy and he kindly came and removed the sod where the yard had sunk. He put in additional top soil, and left the yard totally level over the sewer repair. There was no charge. Thank you Troy.

A hole was found in my main sewer line during a yearly sewer clean out. I was referred to Ouverson Sewer and Water as a less expensive option than digging up my entire sewer line. Ouverson was able to line my sewer line by digging a minimal hole in my front yard. The job was delayed a couple times due to weather, but once they started it went well. They arrived with a larger team and were very professional throughout the entire process. They covered up the toilets and sinks inside the house to ensure no mess in the house during the repair and cleaned it all up after the job was completed. They were very careful in the front yard with the digging and put the sod back that they removed over the hole they dug. After they completed their work, most people would not be able to even know a hole had been dug in my yard. It was not cheap, but definitely the more cost effective method rather than digging up the entire line. It was worth the price I paid though based on the quality of their work and professionalism that they showed throughout the process.

During the 21 years that we've lived in our now-100 year old house, we'd never had a problem with the main sewer line until last November, when it clogged. Another company came and cleared it and told us we had a low spot in the line, which might cause us problems in the future. Sure enough; less than 4 months later it clogged again. The same company came out to clear the clog. They referred us to Ouverson. Within a few days of contacting them, they scheduled a free estimate, which included doing a video inspection. I was trying to prepare myself for bad news, that they'd need to dig up that portion of the line that had sunk, plus do other needed work to the line. Matt arrived on time and with his state-of-the-art color video inspection device he quickly determined that the problem was a bunch of stones that had accumulated in the low section of the line. Over the next 30 minutes he patiently used his video device to push the stones out and completely clear the line. He indicated that he's seen other lines with deeper low spots that don't clog, so his theory is that with the stones cleared out, we shouldn't have any further problems. When I asked Matt how much I owed him for the trip and his 45 minutes of work, imagine my surprise when he said: "Nothing." I was certain I had misunderstood! But I hadn't. He didn't charge us anything for making the trip, diagnosing and fixing the problem. Needless to say, we have nothing but the highest praise for Ouverson's and especially Matt and his expertise.

We had a sudden and severe sewer line break. Ouverson was on the job right away, and explained everything thoroughly. The break in the line was much harder to repair than the crew thought, including replacing part of the pipe and lining a portion that connects to the main line. The crew stayed on the job until 1:30 in the morning to make sure my neighbor and I had a working sewer line. Despite the difficulty of the job, the bill was exactly what Troy (the owner) bid. The site was perfectly clean the next morning, and the blacktop repaired in a couple days. Wonderful service, quality work and an overall great experience.

Our city street is being completely rebuilt, so we wanted to make sure our sewer line was good, especially since our home was built in the 1930s. We also wanted to look into pricing with a private company versus having the city do the mandatory sewer work from the edge of our property to the main sewer line. Troy inspected our line and said it looked good, but needed to be cleaned (roots). He recommended we clean it annually or have it lined. We opted to have it lined. He told us it would be cheaper to have the city do the portion from the street to the main line (due to our sharing a connecting point with a neighbor and because there were some problems with it) and we appreciated his honesty. Through the entire process, Troy and his crew were hardworking, friendly and professional. They did similar work for four other neighbors and put in 12+hour-long days for an entire week.They were also extremely tidy. For example, where they dug the hole in our yard, they carefully cut out the square of grass and replanted it. You wouldn't even have known they did work!! The communication throughout the entire process was excellent---via email and phone. I knew exactly what was going on every step of the way. The city came through and did their portion and said everything that Ouverson did looked good. I highly recommend Ouverson Sewer & Water!! This is the kind of service you dream of getting.

The city inspected the repairs to the sewer line and it passed the inspection. In order to make the repairs they need to dig a hole in the yard. They did a very nice job filling the hole after the sewer repairs.

Inspected our sewer system and found a spot where roots had penetrated our sewer causing it to back up with their sewer camera. Thankfully they had a system that didn't include trenching up our front yard as we had just spent a ton on landscaping. They used a system that relined our sewer and they were in and out before I got back from work. Troy was really easy to work with. The inspection and bidding process was low hassel and very informative. Thanks Troy!

Troy Ouverson was very responsive throughout the bidding process. He sent out a guy with a camera within a day of my call and they were strategizing on site about how to fix my sewer line. He arrived on time, was clean and polite. Through that process, I learned that the clay tile was offset so it was not possible to do a trenchless (i.e. no digging) solution. Because the breaks just happened to be in the only part of my yard that does not have significant landscaping, a retaining wall or sidewalk, I discussed with Ouverson putting in a liner to ensure that there would be no future breaks that would result in even more costly repairs. (I live in an area of Minneapolis with mature trees and the roots are attracted to the sewer line.) I was shown the sewer line and educated on my repair choices. Troy sent the bid later that evening. The price was very competitive to the three other bids I received, especially on the liner portion. (Troy and most other companies would do the hand digging and replacement of the two sections of tile for about $2100.) I selected Ouverson and scheduled a day for the following week to complete the work. The crew arrived a little bit early and got the work done efficiently. They seemed like a well oiled machine and were very professional. Troy was great to work with, very responsive and I could not be happier with the work.
