IRRIGATION SERVICES

I contacted Mr [Last name removed]/Owner of Irrigation Systems to do repair on a sprinkler head and controller that was not functioning properly. Mr. [Last name removed] arrived at my home about a week later with a young man who appeared to be an intern in training. I explained again to Mr. [Last name removed] and his intern that the controller worked as long as it was turned on and off manually but not on a timer and that one sprinkler head was not working. Mr. [Last name removed]'s intern did noting but follow Mr. [Last name removed] and observe his work was at my house they were at my home no more than 20-25 minutes. When I arrived home from work I tried running the sprinkler system and discovered the controller was still not functioning and a few weeks later the sprinkler head he repaired was also not working. I contacted Mr. [Last name removed] to address the bill he left for $252.90 that included a $199.00 charge for labor for 2 men for replacing a sprinkler head and doing nothing but resetting the controller timer. When I contacted Mr. [Last name removed] to discuss why the controller was still not functioning he tried to convince me that I needed a lot more work on my irrigation system. I also questioned why it took 2 men to fix my controller; especially since the young man who joined him appeared to be doing nothing but observing and in training. Mr. [Last name removed] declined to provide an answer other than my irrigation system was old and had sand in the heads - however - the rest of the summer/fall my irrigation system ran just fine once I replaced the sprinkler head that Mr. [Last name removed] worked on with a replacement part that cost less than ten dollars. As far as the controller was concerned - I ended up in the same position with the controller only working off the timer; requiring I turn it on and off manually. for the rest of the summer/fall. The services Mr. [Last name removed] provided does not justify the $252.90 he charged. At the end of the day he did not repair the controller and the sprinkler head he did repair needed to replaced just a few weeks after the work he did on it. II strongly recommend seeking irrigation system service and repair else where and with an Angie's List business that has work history that does not include past customers left feeling ripped off. I am very disappointed to have been over charged and now faced with the same problem this spring requiring an additional investment to have the controller problem fixed that I had contacted Mr. [Last name removed] of Irrigation Systems to repair.

Everything went great. Irrigation Services is very professional and did a great job. We were very pleased with the results and now use them to blow out the sprinklers in the fall.

Tom and his helpers (when needed) have always been courteous and willing to do whatever was necessary to keep my system working properly and at minimal cost.

What we liked about Tom was how tuned in he was to making it work in our landscape. He though really hard about how to do it, he really puts in his time.

I CALLED ON MONDAY, THEY WERE HERE TUESDAY MORNING. THEY WERE PROMPT, FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT.

I WAS PLEASED WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THE INSTALLATION. ALL INVOLVED WERE ON TIME,POLITE,EXPERIENCED,NEAT AND FRIENDLY.

GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH PLEASANT SERVICE PEOPLE. THEY WERE ABLE TO COME TO US FASTER THAN EXPECTED WHICH WE APPRECIATED. DID GOOD WORK, & WE'RE HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS

TOM CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT, ARRIVED ON TIME, WAS READY TO WORK, WAS VERY POLITE AND EXTREMELY THOROUGH. THE COST FOR THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WERE INCLUDED IN PURCHASE PRICE OF HOUSE. I LOOK FORWARD TO A LONG RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COMPANY.
