Absolutely the best HVAC company in town. They are local, ethical, and provide a high quality service at a fair price. They will accurately diagnose your heating and cooling system and offer repairs instead of just taking the first opportunity to try and sell you a new one. They are the only company I have used at my home for the last 12 years. I also refer them to dozens of my own clients every year and have gotten nothing but great feedback.

Do NOT hire this company unless you’re interested in being scammed. I hired this company to diagnose AC problems and repair. From the start, this company was very shady. They were supposed to arrive on a Monday morning. Monday afternoon comes by and no one has arrived. No call, no email, nothing. After reaching out to them several times they finally stated the tech had a baby that morning and someone would be out tomorrow. Someone showed up the next day. The tech could not figure out what the problem was, and stated that there was not enough airflow coming through the vents (no kidding, that’s why I called them). I was charged $100 for diagnosis, and $110 for repair. There was nothing diagnoses and NOTHING repaired. The tech left stating that there was no issues, despite noting the obvious that not enough air was coming out. My house was over 80 degrees inside. The tech tried to state that maybe I should use a different filter. I’ve been using the same filters for as long as I’ve owned the home, and there had never been a problem. Better yet, I had already used several different filter types over the previous days to rule that out because it appeared to be an issue with air flow. It did not make a difference. A couple weeks later I found that the tech had removed my filter and jammed it back in the wrong way and sideways, so it was effectively not filtering anything. The AC was still not working. It took me over 30 minutes to fish it back out. I emailed the company stating I paid for diagnosis and repair and neither were done. I questioned if a tech was going to be back out to finish what was paid for otherwise please reverse the charges. They never replied. I disputed the transaction with the credit card company. And highroad heating actually had the nerve to continue with the dispute and not refund the money I was scammed out of. Judging by some of the reviews on here I’m not the only one. You have been warned.

Rather badly. getting cold outside. didn't have parts stocked. wouldn't answer phones. wouldn't keep me updated. wouldn't respond to emails. made promised but wouldn't keep them. wouldn't return calls. took more than a week to fix from initial call. have used in past with no issues. something changed. won't use again even though parts still under warranty with them.

Terrible, Installer came to put a new furnace in our home this winter to replace a system that was barely over one year old that had failed. We have a multistage system (gas furnace, heat pump, and plenum). Part of the system worked but he couldn’t figure out how to hook the rest up apparently he needed so more information. Even though the install wasn’t complete he asked for payment saying he would come back the next week to wrap it up and I made the mistake of trusting that and paid him. Four months later after much hounding he finally came back to hook the rest up. The installer’s story about what was and wasn’t working and why constantly changed. The system is already not working as it should and we can’t even test the rest of it because it is no longer heating season (needs to be less than 10 degrees out to make sure things are kicking on and off when they are supposed to). They will not stand behind their install job as we asked if they would guarantee their install to be correct in the fall when it’s cold enough to see if it was working right. Terribly disappointing and frustrating, this was the second furnace install we’ve paid for in less than 2 years and it looks like we will have to find yet a third installer. Apparently it is very hard to find a qualified individual these days, but don’t worry when they can’t figure something out it’s never their fault!

Great job by Dennis! Robin and her whole crew are a dream to work with. I had a short deadline for a closing and they made it happen. Definitely recommend.

The quote went to my spam and when she followed up with a call but it was too late. They were nice to deal with. I would have taken their bid because it was a $900 difference.

Very satisfied with your recent installation of new furnace and air conditioning units in my home. Price was very good, technician was excellent, system works very well. Honest and trustworthy company.

Of course it was 90 degrees the day of install - that day only. High Road installers were right on time, worked hard and steadily, brought in an electrician and finished the project in one day by mid afternoon. Ahhhh! Months later when I switched on the heating element on a cooler morning, it didn't work. Contacted High Road and John stopped out that morning to fix the loose wire. I like working with High Road. They are very professional and care deeply about customer satisfaction. They submitted all the paperwork for rebates and Robin must have re-written the proposal for me at least 5 times as we discussed features/prices and I changed my mind. I appreciate you giving me so much of your time! The units I purchased were York. They are more efficient than the 17 year old Lennox and Trane I replaced. I am seeing some results on my electrical bill but I am not sure the house was any cooler this summer, probably because of all the humidity. Ironically, a more efficient AC might run less resulting in less effective humidity removal?

We had a broken A/C and they came out the same day to give an 2nd opinion and an estimate. The next day Dennis installed our new A/C system and it is working great!

A truly great experience. Finally have an air conditioner that reaches the set temperature and turns off. From the scheduler(she's great), to the in-home estimate to ensure the unit was the right size, to the installer everything went better than I expected. He was very patient with my questions. Communication was excellent throughout the process and I felt like a valued customer at every turn. This experience alone made joining Angie's list a smart move.

John was prompt, courteous and very helpful. We were told last week by another company that we needed a whole new heating and AC system to the tune of $9000. John cleaned it up and unplugged a hose and said it's working fine so no need to replace at this time. When the time comes to replace we will definitely be calling them again. And Sarah in scheduling was so pleasant!

She listened to my concern, and arranged for John to be at our house early-by 8:00- the next morning. He called the next day to say he was on the way, and expected-sans traffic-to be at the house in 20 minutes. He spent time checking the furnace and reported that the valve was only opening 1/2 of the way. He apologized that they did not have the one we needed and said it would be in in 1-2 days. He said Sarah would call when the part came in and schedule a time for him to fix it. She called-and worked around my schedule and promised John would be here between 9:00-9:45 Friday morning. Again, John called to say he would be here within 30 minutes and he was. He made fast work of fixing the furnace-he even cleaned up after himself! We had the same issue last year-used a different company that reported that the furnace was too small for our 1400 square foot house. He was clearly inexperienced and was very costly for no improvement. My husband and I have had many, many service providers over the years, and have never had a company as responsive, conscientious, flexible, reasonably priced, informative and competent. My husband had a number of questions and John took his time to answer all including additional understandable information. If you ever need a service provider to assist you with heating or cooling issues, High Road would be the company to call. You will not be disappointed!

I thought ours would qualify for a 95% efficient furnace after they did the estimate they could only do an 80% which is what I already have.

I thought the service was good. I was at home during the inspection and asked several questions pertaining to the age, condition and life-expectancy of the furnace. The serviceman seemed patient with me and I learned what I wanted to know. I think it is always a good idea to become as knowledgeable as you can about whatever it is you are having done and to be there during the service.

I purchased the deal in 2013 but my daughter who is living at the house where the service was performed didn't schedule the service in time. It was too cold for them to perform the service. They let me reschedule the service for 2014.Service was rescheduled for July, a technician came and did a very good job. Would definitely use again. Also the receptionist that rescheduled was very pleasant and did a very good job .

John from High Road came out and did a regular service check up on my Goodman air conditioning unit. They emailed me in the morning to let me know they were running late and gave me a revised time when they would show up. John arrived when they said he would and cleaned and serviced my AC unit. I've had him out before for furnace check ups and he's great. He was done within 30-40 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to use High Road again in the future.

It was a good experience. They were very prompt and responsive about setting up the appointment. The total installation took about 6 hours. There was something that wasn't hooked up appropriately and I called them immediately. They set something up right away. An owner came out to give the quote and she was very professional and helpful. The installers were knowledgeable. I was very happy with everyone at this company.

Purchased a coupon for deal on AC checkup. After purchase, company contacted me to tell me it was an old coupon from last fall and told me the current price was $75. I still wanted the service so we scheduled. When the technician finished, he presented me with a different price. He was unaware that I had the coupon so I made him a copy to take with him. He said the office would get in touch with me to discuss. Have not heard from them since, so I am hoping they honored the original price. Service was fine. Technician was prompt, clean and efficient.

My wife had purchased a heating inspection thru Angie's list from High Road. When I called to setup an appointment I inquired as to whether they were able to complete a Furnace safety test for Mpls TISH. The person I spoke with on the phone was unsure whether or not they had the appropriate licenses for the inspection. I was immediately contacted again and informed that they were unable to perform the inspection because they did not have the appropriate license to provide that inspection within the city. I was also advised on how I could receive a refund for the services I was unable to use because of my needs and location. It was a very easy experience and they were very prompt and professional in their interaction.
