D & T Appliance was founded in January 2002 . We started our company with the intentions of providing a professional service experience to the customer; this “professional service” starts with the individual who takes the original incoming call from the customer, answering the call promptly, setting up the service call in a timely manner and then servicing the product when we said we would be there. It seems that this type of service experience was missing from our marketplace as we have since grown to 25 employees. Our company is also the only Nationally Certified Service Center in Minnesota. We specialize in the premium appliances as well as standard appliances. We strive to make sure that every customer is happy and that they want to tell their friends and family about our services.
"They were able to help me figure out what was likely the problem over the phone."

Jeff's Appliance Repair provides Appliance Repair in Plymouth, MN and surrounding areas. I have over 20 years of experience in HVAC and Appliance Repair services and our company was built on Customer satisfaction, and we always make sure you’re happy before we leave. We offer a 30 day warranty with most repairs so give us a call or click to schedule an estimate today.
"We had Jeff come out to help with our furnace issue. He was the first to respond via Angie’s list. Unfortunately he was not forthcoming about not being a furnace guy. He quoted me $150 to come out, and then charged my husband $350. He was in our home for 20 minutes, and reset the thermostat. The issue persisted and I called to ask what the $350 charge was for. He explained the thermostat settings were off. We proceeded to call CenterPoint for an emergency visit, and then had a licensed HVAC technician come out to service the furnace. Turned out it was a dirty sensor that we could have fixed ourselves, had we known. Unfortunately, our experience was that Jeff is incapable and scammed us. Glad to hear others had more positive experiences, but we will not be using his services again."

"We had a great experience with Omega Force and their technician, Nate, for our refrigerator repair. Nate went above and beyond to troubleshoot the issue and explore cost-saving options for us. Ultimately, we needed an expensive part, but the team made the process smooth and stress-free. They quickly ordered the part, repaired the refrigerator."

Electrical work
"Small business is defined by their ownership. Ownership determines leadership, accountability, and service. It's pretty straightforward when things go right. The company is defined by how they handle difficult situations. Without going into great detail, there was a good faith mistake made. As soon as Robert, the owner of the company, was made aware of the situation, he immediately called, took responsibility for the situation and rectified it. He was professional, a good listener, and insightful in his responses and solutions. As far as the company is concerned, the estimates are accurate and thorough, the electricians are prompt, courteous, neat, and knowledgeable. Every company has weaknesses, but overall this is a strong company and I would highly recommend them for your electrical project needs. Frank R."

We are a small Plumbing and Boiler service company serving the entire metro area.
"BOE Plumbing was super responsive and willing to give us a quote over the phone immediately. They were able to schedule installation of our faucet the next day. The plumber arrived on time and was professional and friendly. The price was very reasonable, and was a lot less than another quote we got. We were very pleased and will hire them again for any plumbing needs."

Our technicians always were a uniform and carry an ID badge. They also drive a fully wrapped Mr Appliance service van. Our $89.00 diagnostic fee is waived with an approved repair. We never charge overtime or surprise customers with hidden fees. We provide a firm quote for a repair job and we guarantee our parts and labor for a year.
"When their tech, Tom, came out the first time to see why my Viking dishwasher would not cycle all the way, he could not diagnose the problem. He said when it throws a code to let him know. I paid the $119 service call. About 6 weeks later it threw a code. I called 5 or 6 times to talk with him and was told several times he would call me. He never did call me so I ordered the part and set up another service call. When Tom arrived July 12, the first thing I said to him was if it is not the correct part, I can return it. He should have confirmed the part was correct immediately but instead he proceeded to pull the dishwasher out. It took him one hour of trying to figure out how to pull it out. It sounded as if he was demoing the kitchen. As he was trying to pull it out, he damaged the wood trim panels on both sides. Then...he looked up the part and figured it was not the correct part. He said he would come back a 3rd time but it would cost in excess of $500. So...I'm sitting here with a dishwasher that is still broken and they billed me a second time for $166. I sent them an email explaining why I wouldn't pay a second time as my dishwasher still did not work. A month later they billed my credit card the $166 which was unauthorized. If your refrigerator needs to be repaired, contact an appliance repair company to diagnose the issue and repair your refrigerator. It’s okay to leave it plugged in and running, but unplug it if it makes unusual noises.
Signs that your refrigerator may need repairs include:
Food items are not being held at the correct temperature (between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit)
The fridge is using too much energy and seems to run all the time
Loud and/or unusual noises
Possible causes include:
A damaged door
Faulty condenser coil
Malfunctioning control board
Contacting an appliance repair professional as soon as possible can help save items in your fridge from spoiling. Common fridge repairs include the compressor, control board, thermostat, defrost motor, coils, and ice maker.
If you’re having problems with your dryer, contact an appliance repair professional as soon as possible to inspect and repair it. Having a faulty dryer can be a major inconvenience in the home.
Your dryer may need repairs if:
It isn’t turning on
It’s not releasing enough heat
The drum doesn’t spin
Common repairs include:
A damaged or worn-out belt or
Damaged or shorted electrical wiring
A control board malfunction
Dryers tend to overheat or become short-circuited over time, especially after heavy use. Other common dryer repairs include door switches, timers, and control boards.
If the unit is not under warranty, then you may want to call a reliable appliance repair technician to diagnose the issue and recommend a repair. Some of the most common washing machine issues are inadequate water supply to the unit, poor drainage due to clogging, leaks, and excessive vibration while washing. Like ovens, the cost to repair a washing machine will vary widely depending on which issue you’re experiencing.
The average cost to repair an appliance depends on the appliance, make, model, the part that needs repair, and how long it takes to replace or repair a part. The following are the average repair costs for the most common appliances:
Refrigerator: $200–$300
Freezer: $90–$500
Oven, cooktop, range: $100–$500
Microwave: $50–$400
Dishwasher: $160–$300
Garbage disposal: $70–$250
Washing machine: $50–$450
Dryer: $100–$400
Appliance repair contractors may charge $40 to $120 per hour for labor, and most also provide the replacement parts necessary at an additional cost. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays and emergency fees may apply if you need your appliance fixed immediately.
It's good to contact the manufacturer first to see if any warranties still exist, and if they have any specific repair persons they recommend. Some specialty units or smart units may require the assistance of a manufacturer-approved technician. Oven issues can be more challenging to diagnose than other appliances in the home because many of the parts are difficult to access for inspection or replacement. Some common oven repairs involve replacing damaged burners, heating coils, or electric cables. Purchasing additional parts, such as a new heating coil may also increase the total repair cost.
