Took initial call on first try. Left text with my address and Dave contacted me night before delivery (in the same week as contact). Arrived on time and quickly stacked wood. Will be contacting Dave in the spring for some tree removal and yard cleanup.

Excellent - very responsible crew; they did not cut or take down unnecessary trees or limbs. They were very neat and cleaned up the debris. Very easy to work with - they asked appropriate questions about what to remove or keep

Dave and his crew are absolutely the best. I have 5 acres of heavily wooded land and I've used Dave's for better part of a decade now. Every year there seems to be something - couple years of battling oak wilt and then there's my continual war with buckthorn. It's at the point now where I just call Dave and ask him to do something (remove a tree or two or get rid of a pile of buckthorn I've cleared). He just takes care of it, cleans-up everything and always comes in at a reasonable price. And, he is willing to give that little extra. E.g. this year, he was working in the area, had a load of wood chips and just dropped them off. He knows I can always use wood chips. I sincerely appreciate what he provides, the quality of his work and would recommend him with no hesitation.

A1 Tree Service is the best. Dave and his crew removed an 80 plus year old maple tree from our property. There were many obstacles they had to work around. The entire tree was removed without a hitch in a very professional manner. I will use Dave's tree service again!

They did a great job. They understood what we were looking for in the job and did a good job in carrying it out. They were very thoughtful and friendly.

I called several places to get firewood for Christmas time and A-1 Firewood Dave's had the best price and most importantly they could deliver the firewood by 12/23, perfect time for our needs. They piled the wood in the garage and then they cleaned around. I bought 1 fireplace cord and I am pretty sure they gave us more than that. We have been burning wood during this winter and it is a great quality, dry wood that burn slowly in the fireplace I will not only recommend them but also I'll use them again, probably in the winter of 2014, because we still have plenty of wood for next winter

THIS COMPANY FURNISHED ME WITH FIREWOOD LAST SEASON. I LIKED THE FIREWOOD AND THEIR PROMPT DELIVERY SO WANTED TO ORDER AGAIN. WHEN I CALLED THIS TIME, IT TOOK ABOUT 2 WEEKS FOR THEM TO RETURN MY CALL AT WHICH TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL WHEN THEY WERE COMING FOR DELIVERY. I HAVE WAITED 3 WEEKS AND NO CALL OR FIREWOOD. WHEN I TRIED TO CALL AGAIN, THEIR MAILBOX WILL NOT ACCEPT MESSAGES.

DAVE WAS ON TIME, RESPONSIVE, FAST AND FRIENDLY. BUT, AT THE END OF THE DAY I WANT WHAT I PAID FOR, WHICH WAS SEASONED DRY WOOD. WHAT I GOT WAS VERY WET/UNSEASONED. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. IT WILL BURN, BUT IT TAKES A LOT OF EFFORT TO GET IT GOING (WITHOUT A STARTER) AND IT SMOKES PROFUSELY.

THIS WAS A LOT OF WOOD, IT TOOK THEM ABOUT 3 HOURS. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY WERE ON TIME, AT PRICE PROMISED, STACKED IT BEAUTIFULLY.

WORTH EVERY PENNY! VERY NICE GUYS.

DAVID AND HIS PARTNER DELIVERED A FIREPLACE CORD OF WOOD ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THEY HAD INDICATED THEY WOULD BE HERE IN THE AM, BUT DUE TO OTHER DELIVERIES NOT BEING AVAILABLE, THEY WERE LATE TO OUR HOUSE. A MINOR INCONVENIENCE WITH THE QUALITY OF WOOD THAT THEY DELIVER. THIS IS THE 3RD YEAR IN A ROW USING THEIR WOOD.

GOOD WOOD AND WELL STACKED. THE STACK IS ACTUALLY A BIT LONGER THAN 8'. THEY EVEN RESTACKED THE LEFTOVERS FROM LAST YEAR THAT I HAD MOVED ASIDE. THEY WERE RUNNING LATE, BUT CALLED TO LET ME KNOW WHEN TO EXPECT THEM. ORDERED ON THURSDAY, DELIVERED ON SATURDAY.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL ON THE PHONE EXPLAINING THE SIZE AND TYPES OF CORDS, AND ALSO GAVE ME SOME TIPS ON FIRE-BUILDING, CHIMNEY UPDRAFTS, ETC. I PLACED THE ORDER ON A FRIDAY, AND THEY DELIVERED THE WOOD TO ME ON SATURDAY.

WHEN I CALLED, THEY EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENT KINDS OF CORDS AND HELPED ME ESTIMATE WHAT I WOULD NEED. I CALLED ON A THURSDAY AND THEY DELIVERED ON SATURDAY. THEY ARE ALSO REGISTERED WITH A NATIONAL ARBORISTS GROUP SO I ASKED THEM TO ESTIMATE WORK ON TWO LARGE TREES -- SEE A SEPARATE REPORT ON DAVES TREE SERVICE AND LANDSCAPING FOR THAT. SHORT VERSION: THEY WERE GREAT.
