Long-time friends and Birch Tree Care founders Kris Birch and Tony Sylvester have worked together for the past 2 decades. What started as a high school friendship built on hockey, has now turned into a successful business. Birch Tree Care began when Kris and Tony combined their competitive nature of hockey with their love of the green industry to create a company built on honesty, exceptional work, and valued relationships. Combining their professional experiences and drive, Kris and Tony started Birch Tree Care in 2015 adding another long-time friend Mitch Bauer, onto the leadership team. Birch Tree Care’s parent company, BIRCH Inc., is a lawn, snow and water maintenance company that has been serving commercial properties throughout the Twin Cities metro area since 1978. Now, Birch Tree Care is bringing the experience and values of BIRCH Inc. to your home and neighborhood.

We provide a variety of tree and plant health care services to residential, commercial, and homeowner associations. We offer tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, bolting, cabling and 24-hour storm damage assistance. In addition, we also offer the following treatment services: Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) root flare injections, Dutch Elm Disease root flare injections, Oak Wilt root flare injections, apple scab control sprays, Japanese Beetle control sprays, tree & shrub deep root fertilization.

Birch did an excellent job of tree removal and clean up without damage to surrounding area. The crew was small, friendly and got the job done quickly.
Description of Work: I needed a very large tree removed from a wooded area without harming surrounding trees. This required climbing as there was no way to get equipment into yard without totally wrecking yard.
