We could not be happier! We went with Custom Remodelers, Inc. because we had been quoted by another company an INSANE amount for a less quality/less decorative door. Our friend recommended CRI because they're local (we live in Wyoming, MN) and we were able to get the process started immediately. Dennis was our consultant, and he made us feel comfortable and confident with our choices and really listened to our budget needs. We needed to replace our double door that scraped on our floor, had no window lighting, and could barely lock - so going to a single door with two sidelights was the perfect option. Dennis was able to customize every single detail using the Pro-Via App and show us what our door would look like. He was so patient while I played around with tons of different options because there was so many good things to choose from! He was always transparent about prices, which we appreciated so much. Our installer was Victor, and he was so professional during the entire install, you can tell he takes pride in his work - and it shows! He replaced our indoor trim and it looks 1,000x better than it did before. The whole team made the process so smooth, from the design, to the removal of our old doors, and installing the new one. We'll need to replace our windows eventually, and we will 100% be going with Custom Remodelers, Inc.!

I had my home resided and had gotten complements on how my house looks. Tyler and Mike came out to discuss replacement of the doors and screen door for my house. I was given a lot of information on the door, screens and options and financing options. I really appreciated the time and information that I was given. Looking forward to doing more business with Custom Remodelers.

Great siding,widows ,doors and gutters. Kenny and Mark answered all questions and I enjoyed the whole time with them.

I have used CRI for siding in the past and was very happy with the entire process so I called them when I needed a new roof. I met with Bob and Tyler who were very professional, knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly.

Bob and Tyler were great at explaining our window options to us and listed several finance options as well. They were very efficient and told some great stories that we all could laugh at. They helped us find an affordable option that we could agree on and move forward on replacing our old drafty windows. It will be nice having all our windows matching.

Since I purchased previous windows on my house and the windows performed as advertised. After a storm, I called to have Bob Bohn and Tyler help with replacements. They were professional and knowledgeable . I would use this company again for any future needs.

Excellent presentation describing the value and process. The projected installation out 12 weeks seems rather long but it was disclosed before we made our decision and is the only reason I feel a 5 star rating was not given. Since the actual installation has yet to be done, I cannot give a final rating at this time

This review is for siding work CRI did for me and my husband. This whole experience has just been terrible. CRI and its subcontractors have no accountability, they are unprofessional and offer no customer support. Worst experience ever. High pressure tactics. Non-existent customer service. Promised the moon and did not deliver. Now the company is ducking me and my husband; hiding behind voicemail. It took the siding sub-contractors from November to February to complete the siding job on my 1800 sq ft house. The workers screamed profanities at each other while they argued. Once I had to come outside to quiet them down because they were so incredibly loud and aggressive. I was concerned the fight was going to become physical. Co-workers on my Zoom call could hear them. The workers showed up 1 day a week for 2-3 hours and called it good. They attempted to shake us down for an extra $1,000 out of pocket even though the CRI salesman said â the price was the price no matter what and that weâ d pay nothing more than what was quoted. They left so many nails on the ground that we had to buy a magnet broom to get them all collected once the snow melted. There was trash left everywhere when they finally packed up and left. They parked their trailer in my yard for 2 months and then tore up my yard in the process of getting out of the snowbank it was buried in. The lead worker showed up at my house as I was pulling out of the driveway to go to an appointment one day. There was no call to let me know he was coming or anything. Just showed up and wanted me to skip my appointment so I could walk him around the house and point out where the issues were. That same guy would complain to me that he didnâ t even want to take the siding job and that CRI made him take it. Told me and my husband on multiple occasions that he wasnâ t making any money on the job. Why he thought this was something I needed to hear is beyond me. I had a contract with CRI and not him. The workers tore out our internet twice in one week. The first time they literally pulled the cable thru the kitchen wall from the outside. We had Midco out and had them move the cable to under the deck and thru the cement blocks in the basement. 2 days later the workers ripped the entire cable box off the exterior wall and severed the cables. It was unbelievable. I work from home so you can imagine I wasn't happy. CRI sent me a bill for an additional $1,000 beyond the contracted price even though the work is STILL NOT complete. They haven't even been back to my house since like late February. The siding project managers Gabby and Ryan will not call us back. We're trying to get this resolved and Ryan is literally â not in the office every time my husband calls. We can't get anyone from CRI to come out in-person and talk with us about the workmanship issues. I feel scammed. I feel absolute regret that I ever signed on with this company. It was such a horrible mistake. And a horrible experience from the start. The salesman pressured us heavily. Gave us a whole story about going on vacation and would not be back til the beginning of the month so he would give us ALL his allotted discounts that he was able to use each month. Said in June that weâ d get a deal if we went with the siding he recommended because it was already in-stock due to a large apartment complex using that same siding. We even bought and paid for gable vents that were never installed. CRI never offered to credit us for this either. The contract was signed in June last year and in October I finally had to call CRI myself because I had heard nothing from CRI since I signed the contract and was still waiting for the workers to show up. Gabby said they were waiting on the materials still. So, obviously the in-stock thing was more BS. I absolutely do not recommend

Custom Remodlers put in the rest of my windows, and from Mike Walsh to the installation, it was a seamless process. I would recommend them if you're looking for good quality windows. Mike Burfield.

Ordered a large picture window, and its absolutely Beautiful!! Weve been customers for years and will contiune to do business with CRI! Big Shout Out to Justin and Zach!! These two guys did one hell of a good job on our window! 100% reccomend their services!

Able to install a front door that other installers who came to the house would not bother to do because the installer at home depot was afraid to do. The job might had been more time and was use to a slap together and out , I presume. These guys were not like that at all. They spent at least a couple days doing this and came out well before with materials. I will use this business in the future. GREAT WORK. janice

The install went very well and the windows look good. There was an issue with the basement window, but they were able to fix it and did it well.

They dont do the whole job and order extra stuff that your house doesnt even need. Example they ordered valley flashing for our house and we dont even have anywhere on our house it would go. They broke our gutters and cant get a call back at all.

NEVER HIRE CUSTOM REMODOLERS INC TO DO ANY SERVICE ON YOUR HOME! Spend 5 minutes and look at all of the negative reviews on Google. Their sales guys are pushy, their installers are the worst you will ever come across. Our doors and windows weren't installed correctly, they forgot to put a peep hole in the original door, they couldn't put the correct color caulk in (or straight), the windows they installed were all uneven and they had to come back just to relevel everything, they didn't have enough weather stripping so we had cold air coming under the windows, our patio door wouldn't close properly because they didn't put it in straight. They had to come to our home over a dozen times to fix their mistakes. If you had any window work done by them, we recommend you have a separate window company come out and review their work. Just because it passes city inspection doesn't mean it's right. Custom Remodelers is a terrible, terrible company that won't do what's right to fix your project. They will tell you that the contract is complete and they don't owe you any discount/compensation for any days off of work (even if their workers don't show up).

We've had all our windows and exterior doors replaced and added gutters and love the results. Kevin Kelly helped make sure we got everything we needed ordered and the crews got everything in and treated us with courtesy and respect. Dave went above and beyond on the latest door installation by adding a transition he made between the entryway and ramp so that the wheelchair can easily and safely enter and exit our house. We did not have that caring and attention to detail with the company that installed the ramp and it meant the world to us, thanks Dave! Will definitely call Kevin when the time comes for any additional exterior work.

Removed French doors that were drafty and warped and replaced with a sliding door and window. It was a great improvement and Noah did exactly as he promised with the sale.
