The work they did was just fine, but since then for years now they call with predatory sales tactics, will not take no for an answer, will not take no for an answer. I have begged them to stop, I am in childcare and they always call during my business hours. They never stop. It is infuriating. Despite the quality of their work I will never use this company again. I would pay to get off their list but they call multiple time a year. They will give you no peace if you get on their list.

I will start with this, the job is complete. Now the journey to the completed job... After 3 no shows on 3 separate days our 4 exterior window project and one interior window project is finished. There was no communication on all three of the days the crew no showed, many excuses, but not a single phone call to give us a heads up. On the 2nd no show we were promised a spot on the schedule by a manager, Brad, and once again found out it was not relayed from one staff member to another and no one showed up for the job. After finally having the project finished after over a month of chaos in our home, we received a marginally small discount for â the inconvenienceâ , a large lecture from another manager, Deny, about their bottom line, and a very small apology that came with more lecture about them not making money. They also credited our home loan back account an additional discount but then a day later charged us the same amount, so there was no discount and now I have no trust in their loan program if they can just add and delete things on our account as they please. If you donâ t mind spending 3-4 days of taking off work, moving all your furniture around countless times, waiting for crews to no show and lectures of how the companies money is more important than your time and family than this is the company for you.

I worked with Custom Remodelers on a small job. The removed three facades of siding, installed house wrap, reinstall a small portion of the original siding, added transitions, installed new composite shakes with all necessary trim and caulking, etc. My sales person and the installers di a great job however, the contract indicated that the leftover original siding was to be kept. Instead the leftover original siding was discarded even after I spoke directly with the installation crew. The crew barely spoke English so I am sure they did not understand me nor could they read the details on the signed contract. When I spoke with CR regarding it I was offered siding at cost for a future job. I am not creating more work simply to get the materials that should have been no issue in the first place. When I pushed on my payment in disgust, the promptly served the Mechanics Lien delaying a refinance on my home that would have paid them. Beyond frustrated at this point as their mistake clearly noted on their contract caused me delay in paying them. Be careful!!!

The customer service was horrible. The guys who measured the window got it wrong. The guy who first installed the sliding glass door was incompetent. And I am still stuck paying a lot of $ for the hassle. I will never ever use them again. I would recommend not using them.

I had a window put in on April 1 2021, first thing was the damage my Curtains! Then the window wasnt the right size so he cut the window out, hints thats why my curtains got damage. Then the installer said someone will be out the next day to put the tin rapid, come to find out after calling every week and getting the runaround someone finally told me that they ordered the wrong color! So the rap is coming in this week and I cant get it installed because they are booked!!! Till may 24. ok I should be first dont you think?!? Why put me off! I can not believe this.. the customer service is so bad never again! The wood on my window are exposed to all this rain! If I could download pictures I would show you. Buyers beware

I have had Custom Remodelers do almost all of the windows in my house, so when it came to a front entry door I knew who I wanted to work with. Custom Remodelers provide a high quality door and at a reasonable price. The salesman came up with exactly what I wanted. When it came time to install, Zach and Josh did a really nice job and did it very quickly. I love this door.

Easy company to work with. They installed a fascia and soffit. Work was done quickly and looks great. Customer service was great about answering all my questions along the way. I would use them again for future house projects.

I had all new windows installed a year ago. This year I had a front entry door, with storm door and a New door with built in blinds installed on my upper deck. The Team for the doors, did Beautiful work. Very clean, no mess left behind. Vacuumed everything in both areas, as they removed old and put in new. I am very happy with windows, even noticed a savings on every bills. I know I will love the new doors, what a huge difference in opening and closing. I didn't realize how bad the old ones were. This company is great, and I highly recommend then. All made in MN. The quality of the products, and the finished projects are awesome.

The salesperson was excellent at describing the product, the waiting for windows to arrive and be installed was challenging as poor communication, the installers on the day of installation were very good at their work. Jeremy was excellent at communicating and getting the process of installation done properly. we were pleased with their service.

I bet big with my budget on a Pro Via front entry door and storm door. More than I thought I would or wanted to spend - but worth every penny in the end! It makes a beautiful first impression, and is energy efficient. I had some problems with the first install, but they made it right. Dave is a first rate installer and his experience shows in the care and details he pays attention to. I'm currently working with Jason on a new order for another storm door, a window replacement and some roofing work. He is easy and fun to work with. Looking forward to more improvements on this old (1926) house in the future.

CRI did our windows this year. We were so pleased with their work and the quality products that we purchased, we had them come back and do our doors as well.

I put in their window and doors about 2011. The service was great and I love the products. Today they are giving me a quote on a new bay window!

Custom Remodelers INC were amazing. We have a 1920's brick home where you could feel the winter wind blow through the old windows. Jason, the CRI Home Improvement Specialist, came in and listened to exactly what we needed. The installers were professional and respectful. The custom windows are beautiful and match our home's design. The windows are easy to clean and upkeep. Our heating bill has dropped dramatically. This summer, we are having 8 more windows replaced and guess who we called?? Custom Remodelers INC-- Without a doubt-- This is our window company for life!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORGANIZATION. Installed a roof, but it leaks (damaged a couch, carpet, etc.). Damaged my lawn and left parts all over the lawn.

I completely regret choosing CRI for my home project of 3 doors and 1 small kitchen window. I was told the project would take 2 days and it was scheduled to be complete on Dec 16, 2019. Instead, I had people in my home doing work, or rework, a total of 13 days, and the project was completed June 17, 2020 - 6 full months behind schedule. None of the delays were due to issues with my home - every single delay was due to mistakes made by CRI and in one case a product defect. I have a 3-page timeline of all the mistakes and issue, but here are some of the highlights: * Unstained trim and casing were installed around the window- which after 2 months of no resolution from CRI, I ended up staining and finishing myself. Not easy when it is already nailed in place. * Two times my walls were dinged in two places - and even when I pointed it out, they did not offer to fix the dings so I had to repair my walls. * The wrong door was installed at my garage-to-home entry point, thus the project did not pass the first city inspection. * The crew scratched the front door they had installed, thus requiring the delay of replacing the door. * The casing around the deck door was not installed tightly - I had to borrow an air-nailer and fix it. * The screen door that was installed had a hole in the screen. * Garbage, nails, and debris were left on my deck, in my garage, and on my driveway - including a loose razor blade on my garage floor and two nails in my driveway that the city inspector found (thankfully before I drove over them). There was even trash in my front yard on one occasion. * This project required constant project management by me and calls to CRI to remind them of what still needed fixing. They were often not good about calling back or following through on promises. * Grand finale - they charged me for the project 6 full weeks before it was completed and without a passed city inspection. The ONLY positive thing I have to say is that the brand of doors they use looks nice, and a couple of the crew members did seem to care about the disaster my project had become and did seem to prioritize, as they were able, to make it right. Without a doubt, this was the worst experience I have ever had with home improvement. I have since done a project with another company for bathroom work, and it went perfectly. I do not like to complain, but CRI has put me in a position of having to complain about their level of service.

Work still under way, but pleased so far.

Custom Remodelers were great to work with. We are very pleased with the work that was done. We are now bringing them back for additional work.

I had three doors replaced in my home with CRI. The front door, which also had a side window, as well as my door to my garage from my kitchen and the service door to my back yard from my garage. The front door turned out beautiful and was installed quickly and the sales person was nice as well as the person who installed my door. The following year I had the two garage doors replaced and the back service door had some messy caulking on the outside. I asked them to re-do the caulking and they were able to re-wrap the door and finish off the caulking very nicely. It took a couple of months for them to get back out to do the correction but they got it all completed and everything looks lovely.
