Tom Bever and his crew did excellent work filling in twelve old basement windows in a 1908 building. They were on time and very tidy on a daily basis. I recommend them highly.

Very prompt coming to work at 8 a.m. Put up a good plastic barrier to keep dust and debris from gping all over the downstairs. Very efficient and the men worked well together. All our questions were answered promptly. Very pleased with the final result. They also did an excellent job cleaning up the last day before they left. We would definitely hire them again if we need something done.

I hired Maltese to waterproof my basement in a house which was built in 1896 and required serious mold remediation and complete waterproofing. Tom has excellent customer service skills, responded promptly to all communications, provided very detailed invoices and worked very hard to assure I was completly satisfied with the outcome. Although the work needed was far more extensive once they scaled the walls, and assessed the situation, Tom worked to assure that additional costs were more than fair and the crew performed a number of additional services at no charge. The Maltese crew arrived promptly each day and provided backbreaking work to assure that the job was complete. They did an excellent job. My basement is completly dry! Maltese is the best contractor I have had the pleasure to work with and would recommend them highly to anyone who requires basement waterproofing.

This project involved correcting the landscape grade, installing a sump pump and repairing a decaying pump house ceiling as well as coordinating with the mold remediation contractor. Maltese Contacting had the expertise to resolve all of our damp basement issues. Tom and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

Following a pipe burst and extensive water damage Tom assessed the needs and developed a plan that would remedy the damage and create a system that would prevent future water damage. His Maltese crew did excellent work clearing out the crawl space, repairing the walls in that space, setting in place a drain system to remove water from the adjacent wall, and installing a drain system in the basement.

We had extensive waterproofing done to our basement. Tom and the crew were very professional and knowledgeable. They ran into unforseen issues and uncovered a leaking water main pipe. The response time was excellent and the extra work was scheduled quickly. Highly recommend!

They added underground downspouts that moonlight elsewhere to my gutter system. Not only did they add that, they secured the gutter back to the wall and grated and seeded where they dug. They went above and beyond and Now we are already talking about the next project. Very honest and fair pricing.

From our first meeting for their bid to the last paver laid, we couldn't have been more impressed. Tim is very professional and the 5 person crew worked tirelessly to get the job done right and beyond our expectations. The crew from Maltese did a great job installing drain tile in my basement. When it was discovered that my house also needed new footings, they immediately and thoroughly completed that work first. In addition to a new paver driveway, Maltese installed a boulder retaining wall as well as a terraced retaining wall. We had an outstanding experience working with Tom and the crew. Maltese Contracting exceeded my expectations -- I would not hesitate to use them again. They totally replaced (my out of code) "beaver" type sump pump system in my basement. The 4 person crew came on the date/time that was previously agreed upon. Once I paint the floor it will blend in completely. Tom Bever and his crew all take ownership of their work, and they have a strong work ethic. I hired Maltese Contracting to install drain tile in my basement. They completed the job in the amount of time promised, 5 days because it was a large job. After a heavy rain my basement is now dry. I highly recommend them and I would hire them again if I need more of their services.

Basement Waterproofing project completed by Tom Bever and his Maltese totally professional crew. Split level home required the team to make constant trips up/down recently installed Oak stairs, which they fully protected with cloth tarp, and work area was sealed off floor to ceiling with tapped plastic barrier, as well as covering all items that could not be removed from work area. The team was in and out in 2 days. An almost immediate test due to significant rain levels which previously would have seen water infiltration were handled without a hint of moisture by the installed drainage & sump system. Totally professional, clean job. A pleasure to work with. Timing could not have been better.

These guys did an amazing job waterproofing my basement! In and out in 2 days, was a fairly big job. They covered the entire work area and kept it very clean and when they left it was cleaner then I had it! Thanks again!!
