Description of Work: We hired Charlie's Construction to build a storage shed 10' x 12', basically it was a rush job to go on newly purchased property. Everything was discussed and agreed to over the phone, as we live on the West Coast, and the project was in Bemidji Minnesota. Charlie was fantastic to work with! He and his brother were able to work our small job in between two larger jobs, and the shed was built in one day. The shed was built like a small house, with two windows, soffit ventilation and ridge cap Ventilation. Far superior to any of the prefab sheds available from the local lumber yards for a bit more money. All phone calls were promptly returned. We were notified when materials were to be delivered, when he would start the job, and anticipated finish date. Construction site was completely cleaned up after words. These two are definitely professionals. And even were able to meet them when we finally arrived in town. If we have any future construction projects, Charlie and his brother will definitely be called!

 + -1 moreCharlie's partner and brother, Larry, drove down to Baxter while Charlie was busy enjoying some time off and replaced my 3 garage doors that were almost 25 years old. He was very professional and cleaned up his work area and hauled away the old doors and all of the cardboard and miscellaneous parts. Charlie's Construction was referred to me by a friend that had them build a storage shed and was very pleased. I would recommend Charlie's Construction to anyone. I just wished they worked more in my area?

He helped us make choices to save money (his pricing is very fair) and was very flexible with us when the permit process caused a delay in the start date of the project. Once we had the permits in place Charlie and his crew got the project finished quickly. The work is of very high quality and we will use him again in the future.

 + -1 moreAbsolutely perfect. We had Charlie build stairs to our deck and side door. He screened in our porch. We also had him put in a pine ceiling in our kitchen and living room as well as attach a garage to our cabin. We have half log siding on the house that he matched it perfectly. I was going through a battle against Leukemia and we live hundreds of miles away. We never had a single worry about Chatlie. He was a blessing. His workmenship was fantastic. No regrets what so ever. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I seriously don't believe you will be disappointed.

 + -1 moreHe responded. He is about 50 miles away. I was pleased. He gave us an estimate right away. So we sent it in to the insurance company. We settled with them and now we have to decide if to go with him. Professional, prompt. We haven't done any work, but as far as responding and be here to help, he was good. But I think he will do a good job for sure. They are punctual, professional, the whole thing.
