+ -1 moreVery prompt. Picked up machines in AM and returned them both by 5pm the same day. Very pleased with all aspects of this transaction.
Description of Work: Riding lawnmower tuned, spent two hours cleaning gunked up carburetor, blade sharpened, tires checked, oil changed and all new filters. Same done on Honda regular lawnmower.

+ -1 moreThe Tecumseh engine on my Snapper mower had a blown headgasket. Jeff picked up the mower within a few days of my original call, fixed it and returned it within a week. I can't say enough good things about Jeff and his work.

+ -1 moreGreat. Jeff goes the extra mile for his customers. I would highly recommend him for any lawn mower or tool repair.
Description of Work: The engine blew on my riding lawn mower - a monster Sears all wheel turning mower. Jeff came and confirmed that was the problem. He had brought a used Craftsman rider just in case which he sold to me for $300. It worked great. However it did not have a bagger and that is an issue with us because we have LOTS of trees. I persuaded him to take our old lawn mower because I didn't know what to do with it. Three days later on Sunday, Jeff called to say that he had an engine and that he had spent all day installing it. It was just one horsepower less. He knew that we would have trouble finding a bagger for the one we bought from him, so he put in extra effort to get our old one fixed up.

+ -1 moreI found Reding Repair on Angie's List. He had a great rating and is located near me. I called and Jeff said he could come by the next day to pick up the lawn mower, and he did. He gave me an rough estimate of $70.00. He said it would be done in about a week. He called a week later and said it was done, and delivered it the same day. He demonstrated how much better it performed after his work.
Description of Work: Tuned up, repaired carburetor, sharpened blade, and cleaned up lawn mower.

lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreJeff was great! He charges about 25% of what a regular commercial shop would charge. Two years ago I had to pay over $200 to have a local shop do the exact same work, including the pick-up and delivery charge which was $50 by itself. I'll be using Jeff as long as he keeps doing the same quality work at the same reasonable price.
Description of Work: Annual maintenance on TORO snowblower that wasn't starting due to sludge in carburetor. Jeff picked up the snowblower, took it to his home shop, cleaned the carburetor, replaced the spark plug, and changed the oil. He basically did all this in about a couple days, and he brought the snowblower back to my home.
