The work performed was excellent. Dan was punctual for every appointment. We had the floors refinshed while we were out of town. Vicki was kind enough to call us when we were driving home that Dan applied the last coat to an area that had to dry for a few hours. He marked it off as well. The floors look better than new. I highly recommend Nokomis Hardwood Floors!

He arrived when he said he would. Did the job in a timely manner and left. I had fun talking with him.

We had the floors refinished just after closing on our home. My husband and I removed the carpet, carpet padding, tack strips, and staples ourselves. Dan came in on a Sunday to start our project and completely sanded the floors including every tiny spot around and behind the radiators. By Monday afternoon he applied the first coat of polyurethane. He showed us how it looked on a small section first to make sure we liked the natural finish with no stain. He was very knoweldgable with regards to care and history of wood floors and older homes. One note is that he is a really talkative guy who can be a little difficult to get away from. I marked the grade slightly lower for responsiveness because they only return calls after business hours and we had to play phone tag a bit.

Our experience with Dan was another success story for services found through Angie's List. After our initial contact, Dan came by almost immediately (dictated by our schedule, not his) and gave us his estimate. As we were having other work done in the room, and needed to move existing furnishings out, we were glad that we could schedule Dan's work to meet our needs. At the time, he was scheduling jobs over a month out, but that worked out perfectly. We were called the day before the set date to confirm all was ready. Dan arrived at the agreed to time, and conducted himself in a most professional manner. He easily accommodated the attentions of our various pets (large friendly dogs and curious cats) and got the job done quickly and efficiently. A few days after completion, we noticed a small flaw in the finish. A call to Dan resulted in immediate response and an offer to rebuff and re-coat the floor. Again accommodating our schedule, Dan buffed and re-coated the floor to perfection.

DAN DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON ALL OUR FLOORS AND PUT IN A BEAUTIFUL WOOD INLAID DESIGN IN FRONT OF THE FIRE PLACE. HE WORKS ALONE AND WE TRUSTED HIM COMPLETELY TO BE IN OUR HOME WHILE WE WERE GONE. HE ALSO WAS ABLE TO SUPPLY US WITH THE EQUIPMENT TO MOVE OUR PIANO. WE CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND THE ANDERSON'S, WHO OWN AND OPERATE IT. VICKY ANDERSON WAS GREAT ABOUT CALLING US BACK TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND SET UP TIMES FOR DAN TO DO THE WORK. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR THE WONDERFUL JOB THAT WAS DONE AND THE PRIDE IN WHICH IT WAS DONE. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!
