Description of Work: We wanted to add a concrete apron to our then-asphalt driveway due to the asphalt sinking near garage door. We ultimately elected to replace the entire driveway with concrete, repair a sidewalk, and add an optional color tint to the driveway concrete. | |Mr. Muenchow was obviously experienced, thorough, and competent. He offered us a number of options that we would not have considered. He also did not try to pressure us into the upgrades to the original work we had planned on. | |He and his crew showed up on time, were careful with debris, tools, and noise - all things that could jeopardize our relationship with our neighbors. His work crew seemed quite professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. | |I believe that the company operates out of Mr. Muenchow's home. Consequently, messages, questions, and clarifications were often taken by those who seemed to be family members. This resulted in some delay in response. He also missed a couple of appointments during the initial phase of the estimate process. It should be noted that this did not occur during the work process or affect it's outcome. | |We would recommend the company, but with the above-noted time-related and communication issues. | |Our choice to use Muenchow was solely based on the recommendation of a trusted friend. Consequently, we cannot comment on how reasonable Muenchow's rates were. However, so far our new driveway has worked out well and seems to be surviving our sub-zero winter. Time will tell how it will last, but we are confident that it will continue.

Description of Work: We had our garage floor and driveway replaced plus a new sidewalk and concrete slab for shed built. The experience from initial contact thru project completion was all excellent. We recommend using this contractor. |
