Mobile Engine Doctor

Did not use; requested an estimate on cost and what I received was an email notice of when they would be at my residence and information on where to leave the washer, not to engage them with conversation, etc. There was no cost estimate information provided. After I responded to them that I wanted to cancel because no cost estimate had been provided, they did come back with their cost schedule. I would think a cost estimate would be provided before steps were taken to automatically schedule an appointment.

These guys are the absolute best. I have seldom have such a positive experience with a repair company. My snowblower completely stopped working. On the phone, first they suggested a shear pin may have been broken and they were absolutely correct. I replaced it, The engine still wasn't turning over so they suggested over the phone to run a space heater in front of the gear box to melt all the ice. I did and the engine turned over and the snowblower was working again. But now it was making a horrible noise. A technician came out and in five minutes, he had solved the problem (a belt was loose and making a slapping noise) and on top of everything else he was on time and very helpful. I will definitely use them again for any small engine repair. Honest people, how great is that?

I hired Mobile Engine Doctor in November 2017 for a tune-up on my riding lawn mower. The service was fine, however I went out to start my riding lawn mower on Friday May 4th and I could not get my mower to back up. I called Mobile Engine Doctor and explained that I had a problem with my mower. The man who answers the phone is not very professional. He kept telling me how busy they were and that they would force me into their schedule today. To make a long story short, I asked what time someone would be out. Boy, was that the wrong thing to ask! I merely wanted a ball park idea of what time someone could come. They easily could have said, I would be the last appointment of the day or we will try and be there between 4pm and 7pm. The man got very short with me and said they were busy and booked up until June. He repeated that they were forcing me into their schedule. I really felt like I was bothering them. NO ONE BOTHERED TO SHOW UP! I waited 8 hours! No phone call saying they could not make it, nothing. I left a message on their answering machine to call me as I wanted to file a complaint. I have not heard a word from anyone. They are probably too busy. Isn't the whole point of running a business to be busy? No business can survive if business is slow. The problem isn't that they are too busy, it's that they do not know how to manage or cope with being busy. They have scheduling problems and the person answering the phone cannot handle any questions or problems in a courteous or professional manner. Everyone is busy and a business needs to be respectful of their customers time too. It is inexcusable to not show up. For all the women out there who are busy and looking for a decent, professional, courteous lawn mower repair service, please call another company.

Came to our house and serviced the blower in the garage. Changed the oil and spark plug and made sure it would start first time. Has worked well all winter.

They are very nice and professional and priced comparable to others but the fact that they save you from man-handling it back and forth to the shop and in and out is absolutely a backsaver and a blessing! Have recommended them to others already! Great business to deal with!

I'm very pleased with Mobile Engine Doctor. They were really fast in getting me booked and I was able to do all communication via email. I felt like their pricing matched what I read in other reviews on Angie's List. I had the Basic Service Completed and they replaced my Carburetor. I appreciated that they came to my home for the service and completed the work without me being present. Honestly, great service. I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Extremely well. We are very pleased with this company. It is easy to call and make the appointment. They send an email reminder. They come out and tune up the blower right in our driveway. They do an exceptional job. We had them tune up our mower last spring and it has never worked so well.

Jeff came out and quickly diagnosed the problem as a bent push rod (likely due to a plastic push rod guide that had broken prior). He ordered the necessary parts and returned the following week and installed them, completing the repair. The mower now runs great! Price was incredibly reasonable, the service excellent, and I'm planning on using them again in the future.

Tuned up our cub cadet tractor. Fixed our start problem, sharpened the blades. Came to our home. JEFF AND GREG WERE AWESOME!!!!!! We will start having them come annually. Very convenient for us, we have some mobility issues and they were so helpful. I've mowed the lawn once since it was fixed and it seems to work great. They also gave me some tips on preventing future problems.

The Mobile Engine Doctor technician came to my house and talked with me to learn what issue I was having with my mower (it stopped running in the middle of mowing), and what things I had already tried (cleaning and replacing air filter, and replacing spark plug). The technician then worked on the mower at his truck for about an hour. When complete, he went over the repairs completed (flush of fuel system, cleaning carb, and replaced governor spring). Technician was very professional and courteous. After he was done, mower works like new.

Jeff was my service provider. Diagnosed problem. Replaced cylinder head on Craftsman DLT3000 Briggs & Stratton Intek 18.5HP OHV lawn tractor. Performed post repair check-up & ran mower. They come out to your house & have portable workshop in trailer so no worries about pick-up & delivery costs! Yea!!! Jeff was swell & showed me why my mower had suddenly died. Got the replacement part within an hour & had job completed in another hour. I absolutely would hire this company again!

Polite. Efficient. Worked by their truck, though offered the shade of our garage. Obviously very competent. Really an outstanding service! Diagnosed during the tune up that both small engines would benefit from a new carb. Gave me estimated price and option. Came back a second time to replace it. Did charge a $35 fee for driving to Chaska, but I was pleased with service and convenience!

While I decided against fixing it Jeff was extremely helpful and I would definitely work with him in the future. He gave me a fair quote and quick time frame.

We needed our snowblower repaired and we had no easy way to bring it in. Repair was scheduled about 5 days out, based on city location. While we happened to be home, we didn't need to be as long as access to machine was given. All the work took place at the end of our driveway. The cost included a tune up, a new part/repair. It snowed today and the machine started right up and ran smoothly! Yay! Very pleased with service!

I was most appreciative that they came to my home and did the work here. The job was done correctly, on time and for a reasonable price.

from the first phone call inquiring to the completion of the work done it went perfect. we have not used the snow blower yet due to no snow but feel confident everything will go will. the customer service was excellent which is really lacking in today's world! this company goes above and beyond with a great attitude.

I could not get my snow blower to start, so I did some searching and found that the Mobile Engine Doctor could come to my house and do the service. This is huge, because I don't have a vehicle that can haul this thing. Another outfit wanted $90.00 to pick up and deliver, repair charge not included. They arrived at my house as promised and took the snow blower down to their trailer and worked on it while I kept working remotely in the house. They cleaned the carb, got it running, replaced the shear pin and gave me some tips on avoiding the same problem in the future. I'm good to go now and really appreciate this service.
