Excellent contractor. Heartland Custom Builders did everything they said they would do. They were on-time with appointments and accommodated our design requests and ideas. Workmanship was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this company to anyone needing a deck built.

The project was top notch. Not only did he bring the imagery from my brain to life, he was flexiable in making accommodations when I suggested it. Randy was also very flexable in fulfilling my loan contractor requirements. I plan on using Randy again for my basement remodel.

Randy is the owner. I usually spoke directly to him regarding quote, appointments, & invoicing. The companies he used to install the fireplace, do the gas pipping, & do the electrical, ALL did a great job. They showed up when they said they would, on time & ready to work. They even vaccumed up behind themselves! At first I was a little disappointed it took so long to get a quote, however, I'm very glad I chose them in the end and would recommend them to any family or friends.

Randy did an excellent job for me. He did a quality deck and did it in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Randy if you want it done right! He is also very affordable (best price I found)

Patio. Was done nicely.

Randy is a rare find these days: true to his word, excellent craftsmanship. The only surprise we had was that our patio looks even more beautiful than was expected. Too bad I can't post a picture of it. We would recommend Randy Sleeper to anyone in a heartbeat! We watched him work and...EVERY LITTLE PAVER was measured and leveled to ideal precision! We are very-very happy!

Heartland Custom Builders did a great job on my fireplace gas insert. Randy delivered on the estimate he quoted me, including a remote and electrical hookup for the fan blower (which would have been add-ons in Centerpoint's quote, making them higher), and the Heat N Glo insert looks great. He and his crew worked to extend an existing gas line under the crawl space instead of going outside the house with the line. They had the work done in about 4 hours, and efficiently arranged the city permit, inspection, and final hookup at my convenience. I would definitely hire Randy for future projects (maybe for landscaping in a year or two).

It has now been over 2 months and the project is still unfinished...what more can I say? After 2 weeks of twice daily phone calls we finally got a hold of Randy and 2 weeks after that; still nothing? We(my wife and I) scrwed in all of the screws that were sticking out more than a half inch for our own safety and that of our kids. Our railings are still backwards and loose.....don't lean on them either or the caps may come off. An assistant screwed down our boards and rather than using a chalkline.....it looks as though he was drinking "heavily" and screwing with his eyes closed. Zig Zag more than straight lines!!!!

Randy was the least expensive of the estimates I received, and also the one who seemed to understand what I wanted. He gave me some design ideas that I had not thought of, that really improved the appearance and function of my deck. I agreed at the time I contracted with him that he would do my project as time allowed, since he was already very busy, and the project did take several weeks to complete, but it is wonderful and I would certainly hire him again.

Randy is very professional and had excellent ideas for finishing our basement.
