They were out to start the job at 730 a.m. and the were completely done by 6 p.m. the same day They did a great job.

A+ Company Randy from Bradach Roofing and Siding, was out to my house within 2 days of the phone call. The bid came back by the weekend. Randy met the lumber yard representative to confirm all materials were delivered. The following day, the work on the roof began and was mostly completed. The workers returned the next day to color match caulk some of the roof, repair siding and soffit. The workers were quick, conscientious, helpful, friendly and patient to explain answers to any questions that came up. There were a couple surprises that came up as they roofed, as should be expected, but they were taken care of with no extra cost or hassle. Of all the contractors out there, it is clear this company cares about the outcome, the quality of work they provide and the satisfaction of their customers. This is why I give them an A+.

Called Randy at Bradach Roofing based on two page ad in Frontier yellow pages listing snow removal, ice removal, ice steaming, etc. plus a senior discount. I asked for a quote for snow removal, ice removal and steaming for the ice dam. He said it would be between $300 to $500 for the whole house. I said I only want the ice dam removed and the snow and ice removed up past the skylight. He said that the price would be less and that someone would come out the next day and give me and estimate and do the job. I said would they also do the steaming and Randy said his steamer was booked up. I said would you put me on the list and he said he would. The next day Nate and a partner showed up and quoted me $250 to remove the ice down to about 1and quot; and remove the snow between the valleys up past the skylight and to get the ice dam removed. I agreed to the price and they started the work. After about one hour they knocked on the door and said they were done. I came out to look and saw that the snow was removed between the valleys and up past the skylight. The ice on the roof in the same area was chipped down to about 1and quot; above the shingles but the ice dam was still there. I asked Nate when I would be on the schedule for the steamer. I told Nate that Randy was to put me on the list. Nate said Randy doesn't have a steamer. I said I will pay 1/2 have for the work done and the remainder when the ice dam is removed and I would call Randy about the ice dam and steamer. I wrote a check to Bradach Roofing for $125.00 and gave it to Nate. Then I called Randy and he said the job did not include steaming. I said I will wait for the steaming to get rid of the ice dam before I pay the remainder. Randy said it will melt anyway in a few days and it will all be gone. I said I was misled. He said then don't pay the balance because he wants a satisfied customer. I told him I agreed to pay Nate when the job is done, but I would call back Monday to see if the ice dam was gone. By Monday the warm weather melted the ice and and most of the ice dam was thawing. I wrote a letter to Randy and enclosed a check for $100 [$125 less $25 for 10 % senior discount]. Overall Nate and his partner worked hard and did a good job. Randy was very misleading about doing what his ad claimed.

My first contact, on the phone, with Randy was great. He said he would drop off a proposal in a couple of days which he did. The proposal was within line with the other two I collected and was very detailed. After his crew had started the first problem I noticed was that they didn't extend the ice/water shield to the edge flashing and there was an approximate 1and quot; strip of roof decking uncovered. I called and he assured me that they cover it and took pictures. The next problem I had was that I ended up cleaning up after his crew. There was roofing material in the yard and they didn't run a magnet for nails in the driveway or in the yard. Luckily I own a magnet and collected all the nails and staples before driving the cars over them. Again, I called Randy and he seemed concerned and actually came out to the house, the only time we met in person. He said he would talk to the crew and take some money off the bill for my clean up time. The next problem was with replacing some fascia boards before the gutters went up. The wrong sized fascia boards were dropped off pus they were smooth pine and not rough side cedar that would have matched the existing fascia. I offered to buy, paint and prepare the fascia for a reduced installation cost. I didn't get a yes or no but Randy said he would contact the gutter crew to find out their schedule and call me back. That was a Tuesday and I didn't hear from hear back from him until Friday wondering if the fascia was ready... I told him to give me until Wed. before sending the gutter crew. I ended up installing most of the fascia because I had lost confidence with Randy. I won't even go into the mis-installed downspout diverters into our rain barrels. I then decided to check the ice/water shield issue mentioned earlier. It was not fixed like he told me it had been. I called Randy again.... Someone did show up this time and fixed it. Randy didn't take anything off for my cleaning up after his crew like he promised and the full charge for the fascia boards was on the final bill. Erik, Randy's cousin, and I worked it out. Overall the roof and gutters looks good, the journey there was not worth it though. I'm glad it's over with.

Called them on Friday to make an appointment for an estimate. They called to see if they could arrive early, which they did. While giving estimate, they spotted another hole in the roofing that I had missed. For a very reasonable price, they were able to fix both holes that day. Very friendly, very professional and fast. In fact, asked them for an estimate on replacing roofing on my garage, and will definitely be hiring them again.
