Vitaliy was friendly, informative, easy to get ahold of. His bid was reasonable and competitive. He was not defensive at all when we asked (as we do with all providers) to verify that his insurance was paid up, and we noticed that his company is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Since he seems to have just one crew and showed up to work with them himself, it was good to know that he, the person we had already met when he provided the estimate, was the one who would be here overseeing the work. The job was done well, and Vitaliy rang our doorbell to talk with us when questions arose along the way. Working with our neighbors to get part of their tree trimmed required some tact on all sides, and Vitaliy was relaxed, flexible, patient, and understanding about this. A job done well, by someone who was responsive and easy to work with, made this a good experience. We also liked it that Arbor Barber reports recycling wood as mulch, firewood, landscape products, and energy products.

They came when they said, did a great job and left no trace that they were here! Great to work with and would recommend to everyone. They also did the job for almost half the other 5 quotes I got!

They were really efficient, when it came to the whole process in the beginning. It was an huge job. They left the place looking better, than when they first started. They cut down two huge trees, and did a really good job.

It took four truck loads and stretched out over a couple of weeks, but we had worked this out ahead of time and both of us knew what to expect.

I needed two trees along with the stumps removed and a couple more trimmed.

I had a very large willow tree that was going over the neighbor's fence and my shed, as well as growing into a power line. In addition, I had some maples that were growing on a slope right next to my house. After a round of estimates, I thought Arbor Barber provided a good value and went with them. They arrived right on time, and were very professional, laying down plywood to protect my lawn and everything. I didn't notice they charge for wood chip removal separately but it is in the estimate so I should have seen it. They did a good job cleaning up and didn't damage a thing even though it was a tricky tree. These guys know would they are doing and I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

The work was performed in a short period of time. The only item that wasn't straightforward was stump grinding. The stump grinder had a faulty sensor, but Vitaliy was able to come back the same day and do the job.

Called Vitaliy, he answered, about getting a tree looked at and an estimate for removal. Said he would look at and get back to me. A couple days later I hadn't got a call back so called again and it went right to message service so left a message to please let me know if he looked at the tree and if not to let me know if he didn't have time to do the work. So far a week later no call back. I just wanted to know if I should call someone else. No problem if he didn't have the time for it I understand but just wanted to know if I should move on.

exceptionally well. One of the trees fell over on the 19th. Called around noon and Vitaliy was over by 0500 that afternoon and removed tree from neighbors yard and set on property line until Monday the 22nd. Arrived early and cutdown remaining tree and ground the stump. Removed 2nd tree and ground stump. Left the site very clean and professionally finished.

Really well. The owner, Vitaliy, came out the same day I called (a Friday) and gave us an estimate which was notably less than the other one we had gotten. He knew we were eager to get the job done, and though they normally take weekends off, he offered to call his crew to see if they could work the next day. (It turned out that our neighbors were ok with waiting a few days, so that was unnecessary - but we really appreciated the offer.) He and his crew arrived on time and worked hard. It was an enormous job. We're very pleased with their work, and in the end our neighbors - whose property was the most impacted - said they would also recommend Arbor Barber. Note: there were 2 things that came up when the job was done. 1) the crew neatened up the pile of wood chips created by the grinding, but left them. I had expected them to be removed as part of the job. Apparently that's a separate charge, and perhaps because the tree was in a semi-wooded area the issue never came up during the estimate? By the time I spoke to the owner I realized I was actually glad to have the chips for mulching the flowerbeds, so no harm done. But do be aware of this if you have grinding done, and clarify whether you want to keep the chips or not. (We can now relate that it's a LOT of work to move a gigantic pile of wood chips, so an extra charge is not unwarranted!) 2) I didn't realize there would be sales tax added to the estimate figure, so was a bit surprised to see the final figure. The crew member I was about to give a check to noted my surprise and called the owner, who then called me to discuss. I hadn't complained, just been taken aback, but Vitaliy offered to accept a check for the estimate figure (without the tax). I could tell he wanted to make sure we felt he had done right by us, and we certainly did.

Vitaliy was wonderful! Patient, careful and very professional. His crew worked like a well-oiled machine. Everything went smoothly and they left my place even better than before. To note--we had to reschedule three times because of nervous neighbors. Vitaliy took care to coordinate with their contractor even though it meant much more time for him. He was great!

Awesome! The crew was wonderful! They were very professional, friendly , & efficient. They took care of the job very carefully and skillfully. When they were finished they took time to clean up my yard and discuss how the job went with me. I'd recommend them to all my friends!

Very Well. Large crew finished work quickly and cleaned up clippings completely. Crew is really designed for larger tree work but did this job very well.

Great quality work done efficiently!

Very professional and quick. Did exactly what was quoted and did a nice job of clean up afterwards. Even with the proximity of the trees to the structures, they were able to maneuver and get the trees out without any damage. Would recommend their services to others.

Our neighbor's tree fell into our balcony. It was hanging over our fence and caught up in wires. Not only was their estimate the best by several hundred dollars, but they gave us an estimate quickly and performed the work soon after. They cleaned up everything and did a great job. This was the second time we have used them in the past eight years, but it will not be the last.

Vitaly was the first provider that replied to our request for an estimate, and they were also the lower by about $2000 compared to next one. He explained us the work was hard to do, it would take a couple of days and what we needed to know beforehand. When I called to arrange for a date, they were available right away and he told me we needed to cut power to our house and our neighbors. I talked to my neighbors and we schedule according to what fit better for them. Vitaly adapted to that. The showed up the first day at 8 AM sharp and ready to work, they may have taken 5 min to check where to put the big truck and decide how to start, and from then on, they just kept working until the afternoon. On the second day they work starting 8 AM and they finished around 5 PM. They were very efficient and cleaned as much as possible. The tree had 4' trunk diameter and was about 52' tall. It was amazing to watch bringing it down. These guys know what they're doing!

We exchanged a few short emails. Vitaliy came out and looked at the tree and left me an estimate. A few days later I emailed him back and asked when we could schedule. He said "Wednesday at 8am." I said "Great." Short emails, friendly service. This morning at 8am trucks started rolling up in front of my house. By 8:10 they were unloading all manner of heavy equipment, and getting to work. They worked very efficiently and neatly. By noon they were done and gone! It was amazing. If I had another tree to remove I'd call them again. When I finally talked to Vitaliy in person as he was handing me the bill he was polite and friendly.

We called back after receiving estimate and authorized going ahead with the removal of both the tree stump and large shrub. I was told it would be a few weeks, but he would come and get the work done, and bill us and we did not need to be home while the work was being done. We agreed to this timing. After not hearing anything for 3+ weeks, and no work being done, I called again to check on timing. I was given a specific date this time. He never showed up on this date either, and I never received an email or phone call explaining why. At this point, it was late in fall and we decided to just wait until spring. We've never heard back from this provider, so will be going with someone else in the spring.

Excellent work. Willing to work with me to find cost effective solution (They cut down the tree, cut the trunk into manageable chunks, and left it in my yard where it lay). Best price of anyone I talked to and very nice to work with. Will call Arbor Barber for all my future tree needs!
