I meant to write this review back when I had the trees removed, but that doesn't change the fact that this service was amazing. They were quick and did a great job. The quote was so much lower than almost every other quote I received, but the service was completely professional and fast. I recommend them to anyone that will listen.

Arbor Barbers are FANTASTIC!!!! They were definitely the most economical and the customer service and the quality of work are exceptional. I called for a quote and was given one within days of my request. The work was scheduled and I was contacted to reconfirm time of arrival the day prior to the work as well as day of. It is rare to find a company with the level of customer service AND professionalism that is found with Arbor Barbers. Sooo glad I found them on Angies list.

They were very punctual and professional.

This company is top-notch! Everything we asked Vitaliy if they could do was a yes. The group of guys he brought with him to work were polite, friendly and professional. They worked quickly and very hard to complete the job. I will certainly be contacting Arbor Barber in the future.

I contact Vitally and we setup a time after 6 pm so I could meet after work. He looked at the job and quoted me 420 and said they were in the area on Friday and I said lets do it. Crew arrived around 1130 as planned cleaned up the large locust very nicely....looks so much better. After the trimming and cutting was done the crew picked up everything and raked the yard clean. Put the brush pile in a dumpster with a bucket they brought and swept the street clean. Great Job and a super guy to work with. I will definitely call them next year to trim the oaks in the backyard before spring.

Had a big dying basswood in my front lawn. Tight area. Had beautiful shading for my tree but had to come down due to the splits from lightning strikes and rotting interior. Vitali was on time for the quote, gave the best price, and got the job. On the day of the job he called to say he would be a little late which he didn't have to do. He asked my wife if she had to leave the house since their equipment would be blocking the driveway. Another thing they didn't have to do but nicely did. The tree was coming down without a hitch. Then a school of about 15 kids were walking back from the library from a field trip and were awing over the job and equipment. The guys stop working and took time to show the kids the tools and answer any of their questions. Another nice thing they didn't have to do. I couldn't afford to have him do all the work he quoted but I will definitely call him again when the time is right. A+

I called for an estimate late in the afternoon and someone came to my home early the next morning and gave me an estimate. The gentleman limbed my tree and roped the branches together so that the tree would not fall prior to it being cut down. The estimate was reasonable. The company took down the tree as scheduled 1 week later. They were quick and efficient, professional, and took time to answer my questions. The yard was well picked up and left in great condition.

EXCELLENT!! The trees were taken down/trimmed with minimal damage to my yard/garden. They clean the area completely and don't think they left more than a trig behind! His price was so reasonable for the estimate on taking the tree down that I added other trees for trimming, which he was happy to do. I would strongly recommend this company!!!

Incredibly responsive. Had an estimate scheduled for the day after the call. I called the next day to get the work scheduled and it was done within the week. They cleaned up well, were prompt and did great work.

They were on time and did a great job. Me and my wife were impressed by the work and the workers and how clean everything looks.

It went better than I could have imagined. I didn't think they would finish in one day but they did. They cleaned the alley and my surrounding neighbors property of all the dust and branches. Not once did anything come to hurting the buildings in my very small backyard. They were prompt at 7:45 am as stated. They operated safely and quickly as possible to get the power back on. I had quotes for well over 10,000.00$ but they did a free quote of 2900.00$ and stuck to their promise. A++++++++

They came to our house a day after we contacted them to give us a free estimate. The next morning they came to do the work and were right on time. Vitaliy and his crew were skilled and did a great job trimming branches near power lines and our roof. They also did a thorough clean up job. We would definitely use them again!

They were punctual, efficient, did everything on the quote, and cleaned up the mess very well. They were considerate when we showed them where they could not drive their equipment due to septic system. Their price was fair and better than any of the others we checked with. We would hire them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to friends and family.

They quickly contacted me to schedule a time to come out to take a look at what needed to be done. They were able to meet me on a day I had off. The guy that came out was friendly and professional and gave me a price upfront for the work. The price was higher than what the Angie's List deal covered but I assumed this would be the case. I didn't get any other quotes, so I don't know how their prices compare to the competition. As I was told would happen, I was contacted a little more than a week later to schedule the work. Unfortunately it was snowing and too slippery to do the work that day, so the job was rescheduled for the next week. This didn't matter to me as I didn't have to be present. It looks like they did a great job although I will not be able to tell if they missed any dead branches until next spring. They did a great job cleaning up and removed almost all of the branches from the yard. It looked like they "raked" the snow to pick up the branches. If I need future work done, I'd get a few quotes first to price compare, but it would be hard to go with another company.

Job was completed as expected in a very efficient manner.

Same day response from provider and came out quickly to assess the tree we needed removed. Price was fair and in the ball park of expectations. Service performed within a week or so of final agreement. I'd recommend and use this provider again.

The work was done.... well all within an hour and the cost seemed to be high for an hours work. Even though it was a three person crew.

We had a huge double tree growing in our front yard that was hitting our roof and hanging over our sidewalk and our neighbors sidewalk. The double trees was planted by my children 20+ years ago in the middle of our front yard, which in on a hill. They had grown together for about three feet starting at the bottom and they were had grown way out of control. Arbor Barber: #1 Contacted me right away about my coupon bought on 11.7.14 and John came out to my house on 7.11.14 to see my trees. He understood exactly what we needed, wrote up an estimate which included my "Big Deal" amount. Painless. #2 On 11.21.14 their crew came and cut down one tree and trimmed a lot off another. #3 John had thought that we could keep all the wood chips but we found out from the crew that they don't use the chipper in the Winter as they freeze in the huge truck they bring. Instead they left us a lot of fine maple wood (cut in manageable logs) that we will be able to use for firewood after it ages. #4 I will use Arbor Barber again when needed and I DO Recommend them! The provider from Arbor Barber gave an estimate ahead of the scheduled time as he was in the neighborhood on another job. The price was reasonable. The service was set for a few days after the estimate. The crew came at the scheduled time. They did an excellent job, being very careful not to damage any holiday lights that were directly under the tree being serviced. They were very professional. They cleaned up nicely after they were done. Service was excellent. I definitely plan on using them again.

I communicated with John and set up a time for Friday 11/14 at 8:00am. At 8:30 I contacted by the Angie's List email and asked if we were still on. He said he was in heavy traffic and was on his way. I said no problem see you when you get here. At 10:00 John still had not shown up and I had to leave for work. I got a call at 1:00pm and John was just getting to my house. No apology or reason for showing up 5 hours late. I talked him through the work I wanted done and he said The $00 would not come near what I was asking and that he could only do some small trimming. He said it would be $1000.00 more to complete the work $500 if he just cut the tree down and left it on the ground. I decided I didn't want them to do the work. I am new to Angie's list and I find it difficult to know just how much I will get for the money. $300 of tree trimming seemed like a lot but it was actually very little work.

The service provider has not responded back to me, and after reading some of the reviews I'd rather not deal with this provider.

He came out to survey the project and when it was all said and done, he said it was going to be about $1000.

This was a difficult job as the stump was on a steep hillside; however, the arborist persevered with the task and ultimately did a very good job of eradicating the entire stump so that I'll be able to replant the area in the spring. Arbor Barber's prices are very reasonable and they do very good work. I would definitely use them, again, and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

I called and scheduled for an estimate. The owner arrived on time and gave me a fair price on the service I wanted. I was scheduled for a time that worked for me and the crew arrived on time on the day of service. The foreman was shown by the owner what I wanted done and started promptly. The foreman made sure that each tree was done to my liking and had some good recommendations as the progressed. The crew cleaned up the yard nicely and made sure I was happy with the service before they left.

Punctual, pleasant to work with and reasonably priced. Also appeared neat and careful. I will probably use them again.
