Description of Work: Pillar to Post performed my home inspection. They were very easy to schedule an appointment with and very thorough on the inspection. He took extra time to explain how some of the appliances worked. And made sure that I understood everything. As a single female I appreciated this and also the fact that he did not talk down to me or treat me any different then he would a male.

+ -1 moreTHE INSPECTOR WAS VERY AGREEABLE AND LITERATE. THE FRANCHISER WAS RUDE AND INDIFFERENT. OUR REALTOR HAD SENT US A COUPON SAVING US MONEY ON THE INSPECTION. AFTERWARDS, OUR REALTOR HAD TRIED TO GARNER MORE BUSINESS FROM THE FRANCHISER ON A FURTHER HOME INSPECTION AND ASKED FOR A 25.00 DISCOUNT. AT THAT TIME THE FRANCHISER REFUSED UNCIVILLY. WHEN I CALLED TO ASK WHEN HE WOULD FINISH THE ORIGINAL AIR CONDITIONING INSPECTION, HE SAID THAT HE WOULD NOT. HE SAID THAT I SHOULD ''SUE HIM'' MY COMPLAINT IS THAT A JOB UNPERFORMED AND A RUDE RESPONSE TO PROFFERED BUSINESS IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE AND FRANKLY, STUPID!
Description of Work: THE INSPECTION WAS AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE. HOWEVER, THE AIR TEMP WAS TOO LOW TO ALLOW A CHECK OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM.

+ -1 moreMIKE IS PATIENT AND CONSCIENTIOUS. THE ONLY REASON I DIDN'T GIVE THEM AN ''A'' IS THEIR REPORT FORMAT, WHICH IS NOT NARRATIVE, BUT MOSTLY A CHECK BOX. IT'S TOUGH TO READ EASILY. HOWEVER, THEY DO PULL OUT NOTES TO THE OWNER ON THE SIDE OF THE PAGES WHERE THERE ARE AREAS OF CONCERN.
