The work was good, and clean-up was fine. Bad (rainy) weather hampered the start of the project - not their fault. The crew was 2 brothers that always started later in the morning (because "they were coming from up by St. Cloud down to Mpls"). Overall, the finished project is great. Just small nits on communication.

Senior Project Manager Ann R. was a great help throughout the process. After a storm and our house getting pummeled with significant hail damage, she helped us navigate the chaos of the insurance process and got us a new roof installed months before we were hoping. She answered all our questions, prompt communication, and made a usually obscure process completely transparent. Her crew was fast and done in a single work day with no disruption to our daily routine. Our yard was clear and clean when they completed and were super friendly/knowledgable as well. They made sure even a chance nail was cleared away because we have a dog and two young kids. In fact, they ended up clearing away old nails/screws left over from a project we had done a few years ago. They literally left the yard better than they found it. Highly recommended. Mark R.

Amazing company! Walked me through the entire process of getting my roof and siding repair. First time home owner who’s house got hit with a bad hail storm. The process was less stressful with a great company like Proficient Construction!

Proficient did a great job building our new maintenance free deck. They responded very well from our first call and throughout the whole process. As soon as the weather allowed they removed our old deck and started on the new one. There was a challenge in locating one of the new posts as it came right in to a retaining wall. They removed the wall, added the support post and rebuilt the wall. Better than before. The whole crew was friendly and great to deal with.

Rachel was extremely helpful with the process of replacing our roof. From insurance questions to tile selection, she was there. We had to wait until after winter to have the work done but Rachel was good about staying in touch with us. Her project manager discovered more damage than the insurance adjuster found. They fixed the leak and told us not to worry as they would contact the insurance company. The roofers themselves were a credit to their profession. They were courteous, hard-working, and thorough. They left our property debris free. I highly recommend this company.

I can’t say enough good things about this company from start to finish. Boe walked me through every detail and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the plan, price and process. He was in touch with me every step of the way and worked with me to stay on budget. His entire crew was skilled and professional. The results are amazing. I went from an unfinished basement to a five-star retreat. I couldn’t be happier!

Rachel and Ashley Murphy were able to make it to my place and check for hail damage within a few days of contacting them. Navigating the claims and payment process was much easier with their knowledge. Once we got the claim info from insurance, I was scheduled a week out to get my roof fixed. It all happened so fast! The crew that worked at my place was great about picking up nails and being proficient 😉 in their work. On top of that, Ashley was there supervising to ensure things were running smoothly. The roof looks amazing, the whole process went so smoothly, and I couldn't have asked for better people to work with!

I was so impressed with Dan and the team that came out to build my deck. From start to finish this project has been so simple and easy. They are just finishing up the final touches now but I'm already in love with the work that was done. Dan was very responsive to my emails and checked in in-person regularly. He answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly and there were never any unhappy surprises! Him and his team also gave a great suggestion for a solution on an unsightly piece of siding that had holes/paint on it from my previous deck and now it looks fresh and new! Not only was Dan great to work with, but he also was one of the friendliest/positive people I've ever met! I met with about 7 other decking companies, and among other things (of course), my interactions with Dan definitely played a role in me choosing Proficient Construction for our deck. I will not hesitate to recommend your team to anyone I know that has siding, decking, roofing, etc needs.

The project was a roof replacement due to hail damage. Proficient Construction was recommended by neighbors who used them for the same types of projects and were also impressed with their work. This was an insurance claim. It was not straightforward and required several discussions and reviews with the insurance company. Proficient navigated the process and advocated on my behalf. We ultimately reached the right outcome. Rachel was assigned as the project manager and managed all aspects of the project. She kept me informed throughout and made several trips to personally meet, provide samples, and make sure each step of the process was done. The work done was excellent. It was a one day project but when the weather forecast showed risk for storms in the afternoon Rachel pulled crews in the vicinity to make sure the roof was done before the bad weather hit. I would not hesitate to recommend Rachel and Proficient Construction for your home project needs.

We were really impressed with the care that Boe took to make sure that our custom fitted deck was exactly right for our needs. He & his team did such an amazing job. We just love our new deck! It was a challenge to figure out how to get the most out of a small space but Boe was able to figure it out. The crew was so nice to work with. We would highly recommend them for any job large or small. Skilled perfection & hands down the best in their profession! We just love our deck with the floating walkway! I was so happy with their work, customer service and communication from their team, that when a hailstorm came through, they were 1st people I called. They did a thorough inspection and provided enough information to call in a claim. They met with the insurance company and now we have a beautiful roof that really enhances the curb appeal. During the install they were very mindful of all of the gardens I had around my home. There was a mother mallard on a nest beside the house and they were so careful not to scare her. All the ducklings have since hatched and we've spotted them in the pond at the back of our property. Proficient Construction did a great job cleaning up and was very thorough throughout the install. They are currently working on our windows and gutters and I look forward to working with them in the future. Thanks Boe!

Proficient Construction owner/operator, Boe, did an amazing job planning and assisting me with my remodel. Boe's construction team, Nicholas, Scott and Nick were very attentive to my many changes and requests. Proficient Construction team did a significant amount of demolishing old ceramic tile, cutting, installing new ceramic tile in bathrooms, washroom, dining room and kitchen. Alot of interior painting was necessary, as I have vaulted ceilings. A beautiful back splash was installed, along with new kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal, granite countertops, new carpet, vanities, toilets and washroom cupboards. My very favorite part of my entire remodel was the transformation from my 1996 brown brick, oak mantel, brass fireplace insert into painting bricks white, mantle and fireplace insert black and added ceramic tile hearth. The Proficient Construction team totally respected my townhouse by making sure at the end of each day they cleaned up nicely. Proficient by far exceeded my expectations and executed my vision in an affordable and timely manner.

We had floor damage as a result of a dishwasher leak. We reached out to a few different contractors, and right off the bat Boe (the owner) was extremely helpful - answering all our questions, and making sure that we understood what would take place with honesty and transparency. Our choice was easy! This continued throughout the process. Boe made sure that everyone was on the same page and communicated with us frequently, responded to all our questions and concerns promptly, making sure we understood each step and what it would entail. We were left very impressed with the quality of the repair, the timeliness of the crew, and the extent that everyone made sure that we were happy at multiple steps during the process. Wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend Proficient to anyone and we will be reaching out to them as well for any future projects we have in mind.

We had proficient Construction do our maintenance free deck. We loved our experience with proficient! Boe and his crew were so professional, responsive and so easy to work with. We had a few companies come out to bid out our deck project and we went this proficient Construction not just because they are affordable but they made a unique design that fit my yard and Boe very knowledgeable. The crew was always on time, very clean and polite. The craftsmanship was beautiful and we loved the product they used. They have great financing program that was very easy to get pre-approval quickly. We plan on having them to do our basement this winter and will use them for future work. We highly recommend Proficient Construction, they are the best.

If you need any work done on your home, I highly recommend Proficient Construction! They are a local, family owned business who will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and your needs are met. We recently hired them to tear down our old deck and build us a new, bigger deck. They did an amazing job! The work crew was the nicest group of guys. Very respectful and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Boe did a great job managing our project from start to finish. He even bent over backwards to work with us when we wanted to change our original plan. Proficient Construction went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.
