Andrew got back to us right away. Work was scheduled and completed on time. Workmanship was excellent and our place was cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. You couldn't even tell anyone had been there except for the mailbox and the deck looked a whole lot better!

For various scheduling and medical reasons, we have been unable to do many of our home projects that need doing. Andrew has been a terrific help. The jobs he's done so far for us are a repair water damages walls in a basement bathroom (including new drywall, mudding, etc., replacing trim, painting walls and trim) ($775) and replacement of an exterior door and frame that were rotted and misshapen ($1200 (including the door, which alone was $550)). We also have some issues with some of the cement blocks around the base of our garage walls that I asked Andrew to take a look at, but he said was outside his expertise. I took this not as a sign of limitation, but rather of honesty. Andrew will be coming back in the next few weeks to install a new utility tub and replace the window and door trimmings on the exterior of the house that are rotting with age. Andrew communicates timely and has been very gracious about accommodating our chaotic schedules. I am one with an eye for detail and expectation of high quality work product and Andrew has not disappointed. I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew's services to others.

It went went very well. He is a a busy guy so you have to be willing to wait a month or so before the service is rendered. There was a little project that I needed done before winter but he was unable to get here; however, it was a job that I could do myself, I just needed guidance. Andrew stopped over and took a look (filling the crack between my garage slab and the driveway slab) and gave me great adivce and I was able finish the project before the snow flew. Andrew is professional and pleasant. He does quality work. It was worth the wait.

Very professional, courteous and competent

Andrew was very prompt in his response to our request and came to visit to see exactly what was needed. He advised that it would be just before Thanksgiving when he could complete the project and he was, indeed, here on time. Andrew was here on four separate days since some drying was required for the repairs and each time he came right when he said he would, completed the step required and cleaned up before leaving. Very professional!!

The service was great. We worked out the arrangements on email and all work was performed by the date agreed upon.

Andrew replied to me right away when I contacted him via Angies List email. He was professional, he came by to assess the job, gave me an official estimate, scheduled the date and time, showed up on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up after himself!

Extremely well. Andrew did all that we asked and in the manner that we wanted. He was here when he said he would be, adhered to his estimated cost (submitted to us in a very professional manner), did the work of two and cleaned up afterwards! He instructed us in what was required to use the heat tape and gave good information as to what was needed to treat the raw white cedar railing. He provided the necessary warranty information for the smoke detectors. We would have no hesitation in hiring him in the future.

I contacted Melon Man to get someone to repair a piece of cedar siding that I noticed some rot in. Andrew came out for an initial estimate and then scheduled the work. It took a few weeks to get him out after the estimate, but it is a busy time of year so understandable. On his first visit Andrew addressed the original piece of siding that was scoped for the project. While working on that original piece he discovered additional damage that needed to be addressed. He finished off the original scope and then provided me with a quote to finish the work. A few weeks later Andrew came out and finished the job. I ended up needing to have about 11 boards of siding replaced along with repair of flashing and other wall elements. Overall he did a great job, communicated with me throughout the process when the original scope changed, and I feel charged a fair price for the scope of work completed. I definitely plan to use Melon Man in the future for additional home repair/handy man needs.

Andrew was wonderful to work with. He was prompt, knowledgable, efficient, and reasonable. He gave us two options and explained them well. On the day of the job, he even arrived a few minutes early and got to work on the outside before I got home! He showed me how to change the settings and the screen/glass, and made sure I was happy before leaving the job. I would absolutely use him again, and I have already recommended him to some friends!

Andrew did a wonderful job of installing our new mailbox for us. The old mailbox had a few issues, and Andrew was very quick to provide useful feedback and our options for installing the new one. He followed all the directions provided and installed the new mailbox perfectly, and to Post Office specifications. We were on a business trip at the time, so he even took the time to send a photo of his work after completion. Giving us the peace of mind of a job well done, even though we were not present to see the work completed. Although companies as good as this one are often in very high demand, they had a last minute cancellation and got to our job right away, which was a great added bonus. I have used Melon Man LLC a couple of times before, and didn't hesitate to use them for this project. They do a great job and care about customer satisfaction. Can't go wrong with this company. Once we returned from our trip and were able to inspect the work first hand, it was just as we had hoped, and just like the picture we'd seen online when we ordered up the mailbox.

I was disappointed in the responsiveness and professionalism I received. I scheduled time almost 2 weeks advance, sent an email the morning of the day of the appt confirming the appt. and left the office early only to have them cancel at the last hour via email. Not even a call. An email. In an attempt to schedule another appointment, I emailed my availability and haven't heard back. I realize these businesses are often one-man shops and when it's the busy season, things get hectic, but I expected the minimum -- a call, a timely response to email. Thank you,

Andrew from Melon Man came to install a new mailbox for me when most other handymen in my area were all booked up. I called in and he said that he could squeeze me in after his next job. I was astonished that he could do that for me and he was so professional and so kind. Everything he promised, he did. It was so great to have someone who was really interested in the customer and I was so pleased that he could make an exception and squeeze me in to do the work in two days instead of two months. I would recommend him to anyone.

He felt he could get the work done in a half day so it was a flat rate of $342.00 for a half day plus $16.25 for supplies. It turned out that he went a little over a half day so there was an additional $40.00 charge plus $20.00 TIP fee to dispose of the old toilet at the recycle. He worked from the time he arrived until he left. His work ethic is top notch and so is his work. He felt that replacing the fireplace fan was something beyond his scope of work. I was happy he was honest enough to admit that and didn't take it apart and then tell us. He is as honest as they come. His prices might be a little higher but he is WELL worth it. I would hire Andrew again...he is hands down the best handyman we have come across.

I was disappointed that I bought the coupon from Angies List, the service provide was one of those that I was told was eligible for the coupon, and then when I selected this provider, it was declined by the provider. Poor experience with both Angies List and the Provider because of this.

Andrew was excellent! Communication was great; he was on time; he asked if little ones were around the house so he could be mindful of too much noise. He completed everything on my list in a timely fashion and explained, in detail, what he had done. Will definitely hire again!

This was our first experience hiring someone we found on Angie's list. Great service from Andrew. Responded quickly to the initial request and we agreed upon a date for him to come and the cost. He arrived on time and performed the work as we had agreed to. He replaced the bathroom fan/light. Cleaned up well after the project. Couldn't have asked for a better experienxe. Very courteous and we would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to others.

Andrew came out and installed railings with less than 24 hours notice when we found out that my wife was being released from hospital and would need the railings to safely get in and out of the house. This kind of service is exceptional and much appreciated. Andrew has done work for us before and has been excellent every time.

Andrew is a fine example of a careful, attentive contractor. He came to our home to discuss the scope of work, prepared a timely bid, and followed up concisely. His pricing was very reasonable. Unfortunately, we did not use him because we used a general contractor (6 trades were involved).
