Good experience. They were very professional.

The job went very well. I had some concerns for exactly how it was installed - where it would drain. Jesse, the installer, was very friendly and patient. He did a great Job. We will replace the gutter on the front half of the house in the spring. We will ask Bjorkstrand Exteriors to also bid on that job.

GREAT! Met with Mark Bjorkstrand, co-owner of Bjorkstrand Exteriors which is local dealer for Gutter Topper, who installed "The Solution" gutter topper. Hiring them was a no-brainer: Mark didn't try to up-sell me into something that wasn't needed; this is a small, family-owned company who does not outsource the installation; and because Mark sincerely verbalized, "I want your business." He gave me great price incentives, the installation was done within 4 weeks of signing the contract, and now this horrible gutter-cleaning chore is off my to-do list forever. Let it rain and dump tree clutter as much as it wants now!

After two heavy rainstorms, I had water coming into my house through the top of a kitchen window. I obtained estimates from three companies to install gutter protection and fix the water problem with my kitchen window. All companies were interested in installing gutter protection. Only Bjorkstrand Exteriors, Inc. was also interested in fixing my water problem. They recommended increasing the water drainage capacity with a 3"x4" downspout. They also pointed out the lift pipe on the front of the house was swollen and splitting. Bjorkstrand Exteriors, Inc. is a family run business that was a joy to work with. They answered all of my questions, they provided references and the work was done in a timely and professional manner. In addition, the installer working above the kitchen window also checked out the top of the kitchen window. He saw what was wrong and fixed that too. After the next heavy nightly downpour, I was delighted to raise my kitchen window shade and have NO WATER coming in through the top of the window. I definitely would hire them again.

The gutter cleaners we've used for 20 years retired, so I was looking for a new provider. I contacted Mark nearly a month ago, asking if they could do the work the first week in November. They needed a credit card and acceptance of terms so I provided those. Two weeks ago I emailed Mark to confirm they would be coming last week. He assured me that I was on their calendar for "the first two weeks in November." Today, the last day of the first two weeks in November, I received an email stating, "Please accept my apology as I cannot do the gutter cleaning. When you called I googled the address and the wrong house showed up. We are not insured for a house of that size." I was never asked about the house, even though there was a month to do so. Now I'm stuck looking for an alternative provider with very little time remaining before it will be too late due to weather. This strikes me as very bad business practice.

Good work - low pressure sales call. Other companies we got quotes from were much pushier and were recommending things we didn't need such as gutter toppers (don't have trees near gutters so not needed).

We had some problems with the gutters after install and Bjorkstrand fixed them at no charge.

I have not yet received the bill. I can't see my gutters but they came and worked very quietly and quickly. They responded very quickly when I emailed them. They were also able to come out soon. The price is reasonable. I dealt with the owner mainly and so I don't know how the people that came out were.

we were tired of climbing a ladder and trying to remove the leaves that get stuck in the gutter every fall. Mark came out to give us an estimate and explained our options. We chose to have gutter screens put on our gutters. We paid 1/3 down, and the work was scheduled for the week of July 7. Jesse, the owner's son, came at the appointed time. He was very personable and very careful as he worked around the plants under the eaves. He even put some caulk around one of the drainpipes that would always drip when it rained, even though that area was not where he worked. He was very pleasant and professional. We have not had any problem with leaves since Jesse did the work. We would recommend this company to anyone.

From start to finish Bjorkstrand Exteriors did an excellent job. Mr. Bjorkstrand came to the house to meet us and give us a bid on the job. Presentation was great. He had comparisons of other gutter manufacturers and compared the quality. His display items were well organized and professional. He also gave a generous discount. The crew arrived several weeks later and had all of the necessary equipment to do the job right. Two men were here and within one day had all the work completed. The color choice we made was right on with the color of the house. I had several additional request for the crew and they did them directly. I even requested they tighten a neighbors gutter and they did it-the neighbor then had them do a bid for her home! Thanks to Bjorkstrand Exteriors for their great work!!!

Salesman was delightful and the crew was efficient and did great work. Lead time was a bit long, but it was worth the wait and pricing was good. We are very handy and were considering installing gutters ourselves, but for the seamless system and time it would have taken us, it was a good investment to hire this job out. They also worked well with me on my special design needs and matching colors. Thank you!

Dont do your reviews over the phone with angies list they mess them up.

The service went well. I had used the company in the past and have always been pleased with their service. They are always punctual and professional. I have had no issues with scheduling.

No gliches at all. I work nights and was even able to sleep through the entire process.

Not well. Poor communication. Had to call a couple of times before the company called me back. Company did not respond to my email.

On May 2, 2013 I purchased a coupon offer on Angie's List for gutter cleaning ($152). Last year I was out of town a lot, so it didn't work out for me to call them to schedule a time for them to come out and clean the gutters. In May of this year (2014), I called and left a message saying I had purchased a coupon for gutter cleaning on Angie's List, and that I would like to schedule a time for them to come out and do the work. No return call. Several business days later, I called again, and left a second message asking them to call me back. Several days later (6/2/14), Mark Bjorkstrand finally did call me back and said he thought the coupon was only good for 6 months (which I was unaware of at the time) and that they had offered the special when business was slow. He said they were very busy right now playing catch-up because of all the spring rains. (I get that, I'm a small business owner myself - many small businesses have peaks and valleys.) I asked Mark if they would consider honoring the coupon after their workload lightened up. He said I should email him the specifics of the coupon. They would see what they could do. I forwarded the order confirmation email from Angie's List to Mark on 6/3/14. The order confirmation did not say there was any expiration date. I went online to Angie's List and looked up the order in my purchase history. Under the column "Expires on" it says "Does not Expire". I printed out the details of the coupon, and on the last line under "Fine Print" it states the coupon expires in 6 months. So Mark was correct - the coupon had expired. As of 7/22/14, I have not received a follow-up phone call or email from Mark. I would think it would be good business to honor the coupon. (If that was the case, I would probably be giving a glowing review of the company instead.) However -- that's not why I'm giving the company a poor rating. It's because they didn't return my phone calls on a timely basis, nor did they follow-up regarding the coupon (honor it even though it had expired, don't honor it, do the work for a discount, etc.). Maybe they're so busy they don't need any new business? Save yourself some time and frustration - hire a different gutter cleaning company - one that values your business.

They did a great job on cleaning my gutters. It's the busiest time of the season so it took a while to fit me into their schedule, so plan ahead if you need gutters cleaned because there could be a wait. The cost was reasonable considering the one side of the house hadn't been cleaned out in years and requires someone to do it from the roof. I no longer have a waterfall outside of my bedroom window. A+!

Great service and project completion all-around. Wait time was about 5 weeks but understand given this years rainfall. Would definitely recommend to others.

Everything went well, and I was happy with the the service. They completed the work as promised and on schedule, and they didn't leave behind any messes. Furthermore, I appreciated that they took down the old gutter guards as asked and only charged a small fee for doing so.

They were booked out a ways due to it being spring. They called and arranged a time to install it between the rainstorms we were having this year. He arrived on-site promptly, made sure I knew what to expect. All the work was done, noise was minimal, everything was cleaned up when he left. other than the new items, you would not have know they had been there by the look of the ground. I would recommend them.

Although a busy season for gutter folks due to heavy spring rains, after leaving a message on a Friday, received a call back on Monday. Mark was willing to work with me over the phone, by email, & in person, in order to fully understand what was needed. We were able to determine color, size, placement of downspouts by working together over the course of just one afternoon. Two days later the crew was here and fixed the problem! Very pleasant crew, tidy work, and now no water problems from incorrectly placed downspouts.

The services work out well for me. They did good. My interactions with the provider were fine. The gutters were clean. I would recommend them to a friend or family member.

This company is great! I have been fighting ice dams for years -- have done everything short of sealing off the 1/2 part of my 1 1/2 story bungalow. I called them last Friday because ice dams were starting to cause water seepage into one wall of my house. He explained that they don't remove the ice dams, but they shovel all the melting snow off the roof which is causing the seepage as it pools above the ice dam. I asked that they just do what they could for $300. Other company I had called wanted minimum of $700 for minimum two hours, no ice dam removal. I figured just getting alot of the snow off would save me alot of damage this time of year. Drove down the alley when I came home from work and was thrilled to see they had cleared the roof totally, just small part of ice dams left at bottom edge. They also came alot earlier in the day than they had estimated -- that probably saved me more damage too, since it was really warming up that afternoon. UPDATE: Wrote and sent you a glowing review earlier today on this -- then called my credit card company to verify the $300 charge -- credit card company says they only charged me $225!!!!!!!
