+ 3 moreThie most recent project was that the concrete on the stone walls of the foundation in my basement laundry room needed to be removed & replaced. After they removed the old concrete & placed it in bags to be halued away, they tuckpointed the stones, put up metal mesh & applied new concrete. In the process they discovered that an interior wall which abutted one of those walls had moisture damage so they removed the wall board & replaced with new green board. Yesterday Craig stopped by to check on how well the concrete was drying. He said it is ready to paint & offered that they could provide the service but since i like painting i will do it myself. More walls in the basement need this same process & i will certainly be hiring them to handle it when the time comes.
Description of Work: i just wrote a very long detailed review & the site lost it so i am afraid this one won't be as detailed. i have used the services of Craig Walker & his assistants for many years. He is professional & personable & the work is excellent. The prices he charges are more than reasonable. He has helped me with all sorts of projects including advising me with another trademan with whom i had a warranty issue to make sure i was being treated fairly. i have used them for plumbing, carpentry, concrete, plaster, wallboard, attaching appliances, exterior siding repair, & certainly many other issues i can't think of now. He makes sure customers understand details of the work to be performed. He provides receipts for items he wants to be reimbursed for, & completely stands by work he has done. He will stop by at any time to check on their work if there is any question. He will do jobs of any size but if there is something he feels could be better performed by someone else he will say so & often has a recommendation (excellent work from them as well).
