AURORA MECHANICAL LLC

I was part of a weatherization program provide by the County. AURORA MECHANICAL LLC, which also goes by the name of Air Masters, came in to replace my furnace and hot water heater. A tarp was put down on my Pergo flooring so when old equipment was removed and the new equipment brought in the flooring would not get scratched. However, the Pergo flooring was warped by not using planking, a standard procedure when moving heavy equipment cross a floating floor. When I called to discuss the problem I was screamed at by the owner Brayden Meverden and told I should just be grateful for the services I received. When my boyfriend could over hear the owner, Brayden Meverden?s tone and volume he took the phone and tried to reason with him; Mr. Meverden then referred to me- to my boyfriend- as his (my boyfriend?s) ?Mistress? and refused to converse any further. Mr. Meverden came to my home, at the county?s request, and was just as condescending and rude to me and my boyfriend in person as he was on the phone. The flooring was never repaired and recently I received blank paperwork asking me to sign over the rebate to an alternative source. The envelope came from AIR MASTERS, and the phone number comes up as AURORA MECHANICAL LLC- I believe them to be one and the same. Air Masters has MANY complaints against them on Angie?s List. The economy has been terrible, but what this company failed to recognize it that I would not be unemployed forever. If this company would talk to someone down on their luck like they did to me, AND refuse to fix the damage they were responsible for- no matter my gender or economic status- then I cannot in any way recommend them for any service what so ever. I would not trust their service in any fashion.

Aurora Mechanical demonstrated prompt, professional, and courteous service. This was an emergency call, since the air conditioner failed on a 94 degree day in June 2007! Seth took my call and told me he could be at my home around 2 pm. He arrived at the time estimated, diagnosed the problem, then left and returned quickly with the needed part and had the A/C unit back in service in a few minutes time. He also took the time to run service tests on the 13 year old unit, including compressor pressure, and told me to expect reliable performance from the unit for the foreseeable future. Fast, courteous service at a good value!
