SAMPSON BROTHERS WELL CO

While I believe this company would do quality work, I choose another company. I believed the other company would also do quality work & their estimate was $685 - $850. Final cost was $660. Job was done professionally & I am very satisfied with the work. Also glad a choose the other company, as I saved a significant amount of money.

They were available in a couple of hours. They came over and took care of the job and were very straightforward and explained what they were doing. I thought the price was reasonable.

I called early Thursday morning because my circuit breaker kept popping and I had no water. Tom said he would be out that afternoon and he arrived as promised. He started by troubleshooting the short working from the tank to well and showed me what he was doing each step. He determined the start winding on the pump was bad and pulled the pump up and then double checked it one more before replacing the pump. He was very professional and pleasant as we chatted at the time he was doing the repairs.

Our well pump blew the circuit breaker just after Christmas and Sampson Brothers came out for an emergency call the next day. Because of its location they had to pull the pump up by hand to repair the shorted wire. When they determined that the well flow was reduced because of debris, they made a second trip back just after New Years Day to blow the pump clear. Again having to raise it by hand. The owner and workers were on time, informative and polite. When we went out to observe, they willingly explained what was being done. I would definitely recommend them for any work on wells.

Their responsiveness was wonderful. They provided next day service. The condition of the tank was worse than they anticipated so they worked quickly to repair it. The company's quick response saved our home from an exploded tank, which would have caused massive water damage. We will use this company again.

I CALLED THEM THE FRIDAY BEFORE MEMORIAL WEEKEND ON MAY 27TH AND THEY SAID THEY'D CALL ME BACK THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK SO I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY'D BE OUT THAT THURSDAY JUNE 2ND BETWEEN 4 -6PM. THEY NEVER SHOWED NOR CALLED. MONDAY OF THIS WEEK I CAME HOME TO FIND A QUOTE FOR A WELL ABANDONMENT STUCK IN MY DOOR FROM THEM. I CALLED ON TUESDAY TO SAY I DIDN'T WANT THE WELL ABANDONED, I NEED THE PUMP LOOKED AT. THE PERSON I WAS SPEAKING TO SAID HE'D CALL ME BACK IN AN HOUR. THAT IS LAST I'VE HEARD FROM THEM, I WILL NOT WASTE ANY MORE OF MY TIME TRYING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

THE GUY THEY SENT OUT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNICATED THE SCOPE OF THE PROBLEM WELL. EXCELLENT FOLLOW-UP WHEN FURTHER DAMAGE DISCOVERED.

THEY CAME OUT TO DO A 'HAND DIG' WHEN OTHER COMPANIES REFUSED. WORKED FAST. LOT CHEAPER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. ONLY MINOR COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY DIDN'T OFFER ME AN ESTIMATE.

I WAS NERVOUS WHEN THE FOREMAN LEFT TWO SEEMINGLY PRE-TEEN GUYS AT OUR HOUSE TO DO THE WORK, BUT I LATER REALIZED THAT THEY WERE OLDER THAN THEY LOOKED, WERE VERY FRIENDLY (ESPECIALLY KNOWING THEIR EVERY MOVE WAS BEING MONITORED BY THREE PRESCHOOLERS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WINDOW) AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB. WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY!

IT WAS AN EMERGENCY BECAUSE WE HAD TO GET A CAPPING CERTIFICATE FOR OUR WELL BEFORE WE CLOSE ON OUR HOUSE. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM!! VERY NEAT AND VERY RESPONSIVE.
