LACASSE CONSTRUCTION

He was really cheap and if you're not picky about stuff, it would be totally fine and you'd save a lot of money. He did use questionable people to work on the house. One of the workers had a pickup truck with an inappropriate symbol on it. He was really nice, but I didn't really care for his workers. They were good and they were really cheap and that was really it.

Tom and his crew are honest and reliable. They always look for way for the homeowner to save money and materials. They were on time, and worked steadily. They stuck to the plan, making sure their subcontractors were also on time and honest. They were very happy to work with us, giving us the option to do some of the work ourselves. We are very happy with them.

After joining Angie's List; I chose to call Tim based on his location to me and the reports that were submitted. He answered his phone on first ring; I told him about the job I had (small to siding professional standards-I hadn't gotten my calls returned from the actual company that put the siding on when the house was built after telling the rep what I needed); Tim was gracious, stated that he doesn't pass up work-there is no such thing as a small job. We spoke about our schedules, our area had been hit hard with storms by this time and Tim's schedule was already very busy. After tossing around a couple different days, Tim just stated that he would come out and look that same night. He was on time (before me actually). Tim looked everything over, stated he will just charge me for parts and the labor and that he will come out in the evening instead of making me what until October which is how far out he is booked. Tim was very efficient, very polite and very professional. We had a lag in time for when the work was actually done because I was not getting a call back from my builder who could tell us the brand of siding (we could not get an exact match up without this). Once I was able to get the exact brand; the turn around time was lightening fast. Tim dropped the siding off on a Saturday morning, the following Tuesday afternoon he showed up with help and took care of replacing my damaged siding. He did a WONDERFUL job! And when it came time to pay I firmly believe that Tim was being far too modest. (My builder told me that I would probably have to spend about $1500.00 for the repairs!) Tim is sincere and his integrity was amazing. (Please note in the box that asks "how far in advance did you schedule the work" I did put within a week despite the lag time in finding the correct brand of siding; I do not believe his time lapse to be Tim's fault or responsibility-Tim was waiting on me and I was waiting on another professional to get back to me. Once Tim knew the exact brand-the turn around time for job completion was about four days. He got the siding the very next day after I told him the brand). I can honestly say that I have never been so impressed with a professional before.

Tim came out within 24 hours of my call. He was extremely courteous and did very professional work. I was very pleased with all of the repairs. He even pointed out areas that either did not need replacement or might benefit from some work. I never felt that he was trying to make the job larger than it needed to be. I would have him back without hesitation.

Tim arrived on time and performed the work as requested for the price quoted. He resolved a minor problem with the gutter supplier, who accidentally delivered someone else's order to my house, this was in no way Tim's fault. I have used Tim's services several times for a variety of small carpentry needs. I have found him to be honest, reliable, responsive and tidy. He does high quality work for a very reasonable price. When the actual effort has exceeded his estimate, he has not charged extra, my experience has involved only small jobs. He has often made other minor repairs whose need he's noticed while doing the main job and has not charged extra for this service. He is polite, soft-spoken and very easy to deal with. I can confidently recommend Tim.

I HAD AN INDENTATION AT THE PEAK OF MY ROOF. I CALLED TIM LACASSE AFTER A REFERRAL FROM A FRIEND OF HIS WHO HAD RECENTLY DONE SOME UNRELATED WORK AT MY HOME. HE CAME OVER PROMPTLY AT 8AM ABOUT TWO DAYS LATER WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. ONCE ON THE ROOF, HE FOUND THAT A PIECE OF PLYWOOD HAD COME LOOSE UNDER THE SHINGLES. TIM REMOVED THE SHINGLES AND REATTACHED THE PLYWOOD AND THEN THE SHINGLES AGAIN. IT TOOK HIM ABOUT 45 MINUTES AND THANKS TO HIM THE ROOF IS BACK TO NORMAL AGAIN. I ASKED HIM WHAT THE COST WAS AND HE TOLD ME THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE. HOW REASONABLE CAN YOU GET? HE SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HIS WORK AND HAD A VERY PLEASANT ATTITUDE. WOULD CERTAINLY CALL HIM AGAIN FOR FUTURE ROOFING OR REPAIRS.
