I have had several projects performed by Goetz in the last few years totaling ~$5000.00. I have always been happy with their services (so much so, that I left one of their first rave reviews on this website) Because of my good experience with Goetz in the past, they were my first call for a project I planned for this spring. Christa Pojanowski, the representative from Goetz arrived at my house promptly on May 2nd, at the designated time to have me explain the project to her. We spent about 20 minutes going over the project and she left saying they would be in contact with me. From my past experiences with Goetz, I expected to receive the quote in a day or two. After ten days and no word from Goetz, I got a little concerned and called their office. I explained that their rep. was out ten days ago and that I was waiting for a quote for my project and I have not heard from them. The person on the phone assured me they would look into it and have someone contact me. I received a call later the same day ( May 12th) from Christa Pojanowski, she told me that she had my quote ready and asked if she could bring it over to discuss. In my past dealings with Goetz, I had handled all of my communications via email, so I asked if she could email the quote to me, she said yes and later that day I received the quote via email. I had a couple questions regarding the quote and I replied (on May 13th) to Christa's email with these questions. It has now been another eleven days and I am again waiting for a reply from Christa, (deja vu all over again). This makes for a total of 22 days since she was first out to look at the project. As much as I hate to leave a negative review for a small business, a business needs to be aware when customers and potential customers are receiving sub-par service. I felt that I gave them a chance to see something was amiss when I called their office after the first ten days of not hearing anything. Now here I am... three weeks wasted, and looking elsewhere for a landscaper.

They did a great job. We were very pleased with their service. We asked them if they would come back out and treat our yard and they did that also. Very nice people.

In 2001 we had purchased custom made Christmas lighting for the outside of our house at the cost of a few thousand dollars which included maintenance - icicles and 3 star burst and in 2006 we purchased lighted garland for a pillar. When we moved in 2006 in the same neighborhood, we paid to have the lights adjusted to fit our new houses layout. We have never had a problem until last year. The guys came out to put up the lights and ended up taking them back to Goetz because they didn't light up. On 11/28/12 I received an email "sorry no lights this year" because the crew said the lights didn't work and here's your invoice with a reduction. I sent an email 12/5/12 asking why I'm hearing about the problem now as they obviously weren't tested before leaving the facility and now I have no option for backup since it is so late. 12/13/12 my response back from Goetz was well they are old lights and they did replace the lights on the garland and some on the star bursts and sorry - but let them know what I wanted to do with the lights after the holidays. On 1/13/13 I was emailed by Goetz - she had done some research by calling manufacturer to find out that they have replacement lights and for $300 they could replace all 25 sets. (again, if they were checking all this before holiday, surely this would have been taken care of?) I responded that it would make sense to update the lights and what about the maintenance contract and when were they coming out to get the remaining starburst and garland they put up. 2/22/13 was my last email from Goetz - she would check on the maintenance. Fast forward to today, 12/2/13. I call in to Goetz and ask for Connie to ask about my Christmas lights. I was put in her voicemail - she's out til 3/14. I leave a message then call back and ask the receptionist why I'm put into the voicemail of a person who is out until March of 2014. The receptionist says she'll call Connie and get back to me. I get a call back that Connie has been trying to get in contact with me - they don't do Christmas lights anymore. Complete bunk since Connie has my home phone which she has used for the past 12 years to call me about take down and put up of our Christmas lights - she was actively emailing me about last years debacle and my work number is on the signature of my email. I was receiving invoices via email. I asked to speak to Joe and I'm told he's busy I'll have to leave a message - which I did on 12/2/13. Not a phone call, email or anything from Goetz until today (12/12/13) when they dumped off all the Christmas lights in front of my garage door without a phone call, email etc.

I contracted them for the entire summer for lawn services. They've done several when they've got here several weeks ago. So far, they seemed to be coming and doing the job they were contracted to do. I think, It's a little early to say what the result is going to be, because I have to go through a whole season.

Good gardeners, but completely unreliable people. They did our gardening for us the past two summers. Last summer I could never reach them, but at least they did come. This summer I was going to use them again but could not reach them, they never returned the two messages I left weeks ago, and today when I called again, they apologetically told me they had decided not to do jobs as far away as mine anymore. Without the courtesy of informing me in advance, or even returning my phone calls. Unless you like spending hours trying to get in touch with contractors, hire someone else. The gardener today said they have too many customers now anyway (which was why they were throwing out old ones), so I doubt your call will ever be returned anyway.

They do a really, really good job. They are very conscious. I was very pleased.

It has been approximately ten days since I called inquiring about help with our lawn. I never received a call back. I understand they are probably very busy this time of year and messages can get get lost but it was disappointing.

They are fantastic and do a great job. They are great in terms of scheduling and coming out to do the work. I would use them again in the future.

All of my Communications with Alan Strohbehn (One of Goetz's lanscape designers) via phone and email were professional and to the point. He is very knowledgeable of his industry and also very conscientious of his clients concerns. There was one little hiccup in the project and Goetz's quick remedy to the issue showed me that they are a company that values their customers and therefore worthy of recommendations. The problem was that a plastic underground sprinkler line got nicked (this is real common as Gopher One crews cannot mark these, being plastic) The leak was not real noticible but a small 6 inch by 6 inch area started to show erosion several days after the project was completed. Once I noticed it and call Goetz, Alan was out the next AM and fixed it. It is nice when companies do the right thing without delay, etc. Kudos to Alan and the whole Goetz company.

They quoted me $95 for the job. I decided to get a quote from them because I have seen their work that they have done around here. They didn't come out for the quote; it was just done over the internet. I emailed them and they emailed me back; so I never had any direct contact with them or anything. They did get back to me right away; I think it was the next day. I decided to go with somebody else. My overall experience was excellent because I have asked people for quotes for other stuff before and sometimes I didn't even hear back from them. At least Goetz Landscape did get back to me right away.

I would've given them an "A-" on price only because the quote came in a little higher than we'd expected. However, we also chose not to compromise the materials we chose in order to get the price down. We are thoroughly impressed with our entire experience with Goetz Landscaping. Al was our designer. We wanted a contemporary and modern design and he nailed it right away. Al was completely thorough not only with the work but also in dealing with our association. Our association required tohave a certain percentage of "buffer zone" in our back yard and they are very strict about maintaining. Al coordinated everything including the 3 inspections by the association that needed to take place. The crew that showed up was terrific. They were on-time, friendly, and very professional. They explained what they were doing and were meticulous with their steps to ensure quality work. They started on a Tuesday where they'd cleared away the area and put in the "layers" of the foundation. That night, we had *torrential* rain and turned the dirt into mud. On Wed., they worked half a day (where it rained the whole time), but were concerned that it was still so wet. On Thurs., they were still concerned about the stability of the foundation. They wanted to give it the weekend to dry out. On Monday, they'd work the entire day and, when we came home, explained they wanted to ensure a solid foundation, which required more layers - so they basically started from scratch. We were so impressed with the fact that they did not stop until they were sure the work was high quality. Again, the experience was fantastic and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Goetz did not return my call-must have enog business.

I didn't personally spend for it; the association did. They do good work. As a community we have high regard for them, and that's why we went with them.

It turned out phenomenal. I was very pleased with the out come. I would use them again in the future.

Ultimately, we decided to use a different contractor based on price, but I wouldn't hesitate to contact Goetz again in the future.

The gentleman that I interacted with was extremely timely in returning phone calls and seeing us quickly and gave us an estimate on the spot. The price he quoted me was reasonable.

They showed up on time, and had done exactly what I had wanted. I would hire them again in the future.

Everything went great. I was referred to Goetz by my parents who had an equally good experience. Their prompt response and great work would definitely make me choose them again for future work.

They are doing an excellent job. They are immediately responsive to our needs. Lines of communication are kept open. They are always looking for ways to improve their services. All homeowners have been very positive in their remarks concerning them. I would recommend them for any HOA.

Goetz did a great job! The workers were very thorough. Goetz called to keep up informed of when the work would be done and after the work was done called to make sure we were happy. We would use them again.

They responded quickly to my phone calls. They came out in a relatively short amount of time. We worked with a designer who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall they did a great job. Their crew was hard working and stayed until the job was done.
