About us

Jake Wieser Construction, Inc. is a family owned firm owned with Jake Wieser as principal owner. Raised around his dad's plumbing and excavating business and his grandparent's dairy farm, Jake learned about hard work and honesty at a very early age. He began his construction career as an apprentice carpenter with a local commercial contractor. Learning the trade through hands-on experience, Jake became a journeyman carpenter and quickly progressed to a job foreman. Captured by entrepreneurial spirit, Jake formed Jake Wieser Construction, Inc. in 1989 with the desire to provide quality construction services at competitive prices. Since inception, the company has grown into large and small residential projects, commercial projects, major and small renovations, sewer and water line work, and excavating. Hands-on management has been crucial to the company's success. Jake oversees field operations, working on job sites on a regular basis guaranteeing quality control and safe operations. He also manages sales and is directly involved in the bidding process and oversees construction projects until they are complete. Jake Wieser Construction, Inc. mission is to provide a positive design/build experience from a foundation of partnering. We partner with you, our customer, from inception to completion, listening closely while guiding you through the construction process. Anything is achievable when working toward a common goal.

Discussed project for three months with Jake. Told from day one that the job was capped @ $20K. Many phone calls and meetings on site with contractor who was agreeable to a figure that would be close but slightly over $20,000. Final proposal came in at over $30K. Jake falsely represented code requirements ase the reason for huge cost over run. I sought Jake out as he helped build my last home and I was satisfied. Very dissapointed with level of professionalism.

In response to [member name removed] review: We went out and looked at the site with [member name removed] per his request. After reviewing the site and talking with [member name removed] we provided him with an estimate. The first and only estimate came in at $30,909.44 for the garage addition. The job was going to require an extensive amount of excavation into a hill side to accommodate the new garage and our estimate included the garage and excavation work. We did not build his garage and we are not sure if he ever did build it. We are not sure why he is claiming there were huge cost over runs, when in fact we did not do any work for [member name removed] to create any over runs or falsely represented code requirements. We simple provided one estimate for [member name removed] for $30,909.44 on April 02, 2009.
