Scott came out promptly and gave us a bid. There was no high pressure to do extra work or to add things we didn't need like gutter covers. We accepted the bid a couple of days later and the work was put on their schedule. Within three days, their crew of two were here. They did the work in less than three hours and then cleaned up after themselves. They were able to match our siding color exactly so the downspouts aren't obvious. We are very pleased and would recommend Tonka Seamless to anyone wanting this type of job done.

Overall, it was a positive experience. They were on time for all appointments. The estimator was extremely honest about what we actually needed. We were getting quotes for a complete gutter re-do, and they told us that our gutters were fine, we just needed new downspouts. When we called to schedule the job, they got us in within a week and a half. The crew completed their work in several hours and did not leave a mess.

Joe was very professional, yet personable from our first call to set up an estimate appointment throughout the entire process and everything was done on time as scheduled. He was very thorough in explaining his recommendations as to where we needed gutters and downspouts including why we should use residential-size downspouts and commercial-size downspouts in the different areas of our house. He also recommended using two different colors to match if they would be installed along siding vs. along the trim. He even pointed to other examples in our neighborhood to help explain his recommendations. The work was done as scheduled during the day while we were both at work and everything was cleaned up prior to our return. Joe didn't request payment for the job until after we had a chance to get home and inspect the work, which was very satisfactory. There hasn't been a lot of precipitation, but with the little we've had, we can tell they are helping in our most problematic areas.

They didn't try to sell me products I didn't need. I was prepared to pay for the more expensive leaf guard product, but Joe's assessment was that it was overkill for my situation. Called on a Friday, they came out and did the job the following Wednesday. Did the job while I was at work, cleaned up completely. Trustworthy, thorough, high-quality work, and the best price I found. Highly recommended.

Excellent job. Return my call promptly. Set up an estimate appointment immediately. When they arrived for the estimate, Joe explained my options, and was courteous and very straightforward. After comparing 5 other options, we selected Tonka Seamless Gutters because of their knowledge, experience, professionalism, and price. When they came to install the gutters, their crew reviewed the work to be done, and were professional and quick. They did the whole house before noon. No mess, just great inconspicuous gutters and downspouts. I had them come back 3 months later to place gutters and downspouts over our garage entrance. Once again, same service, quality, and professionalism. Most importantly, this area needed a little more creative attention, and they said, "No problem" and it was no problem for them. I was very impressed from the initial quick response to my request for an estimate. Joe O'Conner stopped by our home early before work and probably impressed us the most by not trying to sell us on gutters for the entire home when we only needed a couple of sections completed to accomplish what we were needing. Once we decided to move forward on the project the Tonka crew was on site the next business day (first job in the morning!). Having hung gutters for two years during college summers, I was anxious to see how the quality would turn out. Needless to say, I was more than impressed. Everything was solid and the downspout routing was down perfect. I will Highly Recommend Tonka to anyone looking to have gutters done.

Stepped on several garden plants before we asked him to be careful when doing the estimate. Ultimately we went with a company who answered our questions better and gave us a lower bid.

Joe O'Connor came out to give us an estimate. The man knows gutters - he's been doing it a long time and really understands his product. Had we not chosen to go with a one-piece seamless covered product, we would have chosen Tonka. His price was fair and he could do the installation in a timely manner.

JOE RETURNED MY CALL THE SAME DAY THAT I CALLED HIM. HE CAME OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE WITHIN TWO DAYS. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL BY PROVIDING RECOMMENDATIONS AND FOLLOWING UP WITH MY QUESTIONS. THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED WITHIN TWO WEEKS AND IT LOOKS GREAT. I WAS THRILLED WITH THE EASE OF GETTING THE WORK COMPLETED.

Very well. He was punctual and provided a good estimate and gave us a nice drawing detailing the work that would be done. We believe the estimate is fair.

It may seem pricey but we had several damaged gutters replaced and had new downspouts installed. We had the Leafproof installed. Joe O'Connor was timely for our appointment and was able to answer my questions. The workers were on time (actually early) and worked diligently. There was some parts left in the yard but because we decided to change the position of the downspouts they came back quickly. They repositioned the downspouts and made sure there was nothing left in the yard.

Joe responded to my request for an estimate within a day of my initial call. He was professional and quick and presented several options. He was up front on charges and said the crew was out about 10 days. I got a couple other estimates and didn't call him back for a couple weeks. When I called to schedule the appointment, they were still out only 10 days. He made a special trip to let me look at gutter colors to make sure I made the right choice (he even gave me a couple suggestions). On the scheduled day, I left a house without gutters and returned to a house with gutters. I found only one small piece of PVC in my yard the next night. Otherwise, except for the gutters, I wouldn't even have known they were there.

Excellent! They suggested a less expensive solution, than replacing all the gutters. They did a good job of matching the colors. The cleanup was thorough.

We got a quote in the fall and were unable to do the work before the winter due to time and cost. They honored our quote from the fall, even though one of the work elements changed. They preformed the work in a day, and we didn't even know they had been there. It's been a couple months, and the larger gutter size they recommended and the screens they installed is handling the water flow from the house 10x's better than our old system.

Technician showed up 45 minutes late, called after being approximately five minutes late. Had them provide an estimate to replace the gutter system on our house. Due to the age of the house (est. 1880) They were unable to provide service for the majority of the house. Claimed that the type of gutters they provide would not work on our house. Suggested we try another company that would do custom work. Not what I wanted to hear. They were very informative, explained multiple reasons why their gutters are inappropriate. Also provided an estimate that would help with some of the gutters.

These guys were less than half the price of the other shop we considered, and they offered the full panoply of options. We liked the fact that we could try out the standard gutters and, if we want to, upgrade to the helmeted gutters in the future for a reasonable additional cost--down the road. Great job, great price, very professional. Would hire again (but likely won't ever have to).

We needed to move fast because I wanted to get it completed before I left on vacation. Everything was done with speed and excellence from the estimate to the install.

The job proposal was written on August 28th but I wanted the work to be done on the last week in September to give my extensive flower garden, which surrounds the south and east side of the house, a chance to go dormant before the work was started. This was agreed and the work was done over three days starting September 27th.

They were great. I thought some wood needed to be removed and replaced, they said that though they'd love the extra work it wasn't rotten and only needed a scrape/paint job. They were very timely. Even suggested a different color than the one I picked and they were absolutely right! Also happy to work with rainbarrels I wanted installed. My only (very picky) complaint is that my partner didn't like the radio station picked by one of the workers, who played it loudly. In fairness to him, I don't think he knew anyone was home b/c he saw me leaving.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tonka Seamless Gutters. From the start, when the owner came out to look at my house and bid the job, to the finish, when the crew came back to make a couple of small adjustments to the downspout extension pieces, the whole experience was just fantastic. Very pleasant, professional, and reasonably priced.
