We called and talked to Joe on Monday. He came out on Wed to give us an estimate. Work was done as scheduled on 10/29/2008. We chose them because they had the widest color selection at a reasonable cost. The work was done professionally,efficiently, neatly and looks great. The color is exactly what we thought it would be.

We have only positive things to say about them. They came out on time. They were courteous and they got the job done. They did an excellent job. Their price was reasonable. They were responsive and very professional.

Everything went well from the initial estimate over the phone, the in person visit/estimate and the work. The work was done within 2 days of the initial visit and it went very smoothly. Very responsive and timely. Quality work.

not bad at all .. they could take just a little more care with clean up ... some trimmings left behind ... glad it wasn't barefoot season.

Installation was completed very quickly, and they did a great job matching colors to the room and the house. Their prices were lower than the competition with the same quality of gutters.

A great experience! I know we paid a bit more going with Tonka but these guys do an amazing job. I was impressed with Scott who came out to do the appraisal. He took his time calculating & explaining what needed to be done. His thoroughness as well as the positive reviews on Angie's List are what sold me on Tonka initially. I was impressed with Joe who dealt with scheduling and did an excellent job of keeping me informed when there were necessary delays due to storms. And lastly- I was very impressed to watch Keith and his crew perform the work of removing the old gutters and later putting up the new. It was so obvious that Keith, with his 17 years of experience, is a master craftsman. He is an expert with a great attitude & friendly manner who readily shared his knowlege when I would ask a question during the processes of removal and installation. He liked doing his work and did it well. We are most pleased.

Spoke with "home" office and then scheduled an estimate. Scheduled work to be done in less then a week. I was not here to see them install, see notes below, but area was clean and seemed to be exactly as was quoted to me.

They were great! It was the easiest of all my contracted improvements yet.

All was fine, until the bill. The estimator included new flashing (which wasn't needed and he didn't notice a broken fascia board). When I talked to Joe, he assured me that if the flashing was not needed, he would deduct $50 (which was certainly less than the cost of labor and materials would be). He also assured me that the replacement of the fascia was included. They agreed to take the old gutters down and replace the fascia, wait for me to paint and then return to install the new gutters. After these reassurances, I asked if I should note the revisions on the proposal, sign and return. Joe told me that he would honor our verbal revision - no signed proposal necessary - my mistake! Brian came, took down the old gutters, determined that no new flashing was needed, but suggested rather than replacing the 8-10 feet of broken board, he would rather replace the entire run. I agreed, but we didn't discuss any additional cost. Brian was great throughout the process - did terrific work and managed his crew well. I primed and painted the fascia, called on Friday to say the work had been done. They returned on Monday to install the new gutters. Again, Brian and his crew did a great job and cleaned up. However, when he gave me the invoice, is was $100 higher than originally quoted. I called Joe to ask what happened. He left a voicemail saying that wood was expensive, plus the cost of travel to pick it up, labor, etc. and that what he charged was lower than they typically charged, but that if I insisted, I could deduct $25. I did that. I paid what we contracted for (in writing and verbally) plus an unexpected $75. My original sense was correct - I should have gotten it in writing. Not that the price wasn't fair - it's just not what Joe agreed to. They also agreed to Install a downspout temporarily while I waited for a rain barrel to arrive; then they would return to rep[lace the downspout at no additional charge. After talking to Brian, we agreed to install the shorter downspout to save them the cost of another trip and a separate downspout. I wonder now (since that was not in writing) whether I would have been charged for the return trip and downspout. The work was great and they were quick. Just be sure that any changes from the proposal are in writing. I will say that Joe was engaging and helpful and agreeable, up to the point I challenged him. A surprise and unexpected.

Very well. Estimate was quick; color matches perfectly; design ideas was good and didn't try to sell us extras we did not need. Installation was very quick and clean. Called about some additional deflectors we had requested and those were added by the next day after our call at no extra charge. Very responsive.

We called a couple of companies that install gutter covers to get estimates. Tonka came to our house the day after we spoke on the phone and wrote up and presented us with a detailed estimate that same day. We gave them the go ahead and they scheduled the installation for one week later. The installers arrived as promised and were both personable and professional. The job was completed that same day and we look forward to not having to clean gutters ever again.

Project went exactly as planned. They dropped off the gutters and downspouts for painting exactly when requested and then finished the installation on time. New gutter look just like the existing gutters. One section of the leaf proof was not able to accommodate the water flow off one section of the roof and they came out withing 2 days to fix the problem.

Joe came out, was direct and provided an estimate on the spot. Once I decided to go with Tonka Gutters they came out 2 days later and installed the new gutters. It looks great and what I expected. Joe was great to work with and the installers were professional and friendly.

Great. At my phone request, Joe came promptly to do the estimate. Afterward I realized I had forgotten to ask about leaf-proof covers for the gutters so I called Joe back and he explained the types of covers available and the costs. We then hired them to install the gutters, covers and downspouts. Very personable workers arrived on the agreed day, introduced themselves, walked around the outside of the house with me and explained in detail what they would be doing (this was to familiarize me with the process but also to confirm that what they planned was what we expected.) They got right to work and when finished (so quickly!!) had me walk around with them again to view the work and explain everything, including how the leaf proof cover worked and what to do if small things got stuck between the cover and the gutter (which doesn't involve using a ladder!) Because we had had water in basement in the past, they made the downspount extensions as long as they could to get the water away from the house foundation. Also, our house is a really funny color, and I was shocked that one of their stock colors was so close to our house color, you can hardly see the gutters at all. They cleaned up after themselves; however, I did find a cigarette b*** in the driveway later that day. But I can't be sure it came from them and I didn't see anyone smoking. A few days later, I was looking out the window from inside the house and could see part of a gutter and thought it was at an odd angle. I called and asked about that and they very patiently explained why I could see it and why that was OK. I thought the entire experience was completely painless.

Great! The estimator, Joe, was responsive to my calls and Tonka's estimate was the lowest of the three I received. They completed the estimate as well as the final work while I was at work, so I never saw anyone in person but I didn't need to. Looks like a quality job, and they cleaned up after themselves.

This was a very simple job. Tonka is responsive and comes up with creative solutions. I would highly recommend them.

Went great from the initial message I left until job completion. They were available at a convenient date for a bid and for the install and readily available for a visit after install on a question we had.

Excellent service ! This is the second time I've used Tonka and they were great both times. This time around, I needed a new gutter on our attached garage. Called on a Friday, Joe came out for a free estimate the next day and his crew was out in a week to do the job. The actual cost mirrored the estimate, the color matched our house/garage trim perfectly, and they performed the job in a timely and efficient manner. In June 2008, I had a similar experience with Joe's partner, Scott. I subscribed to Angie's List after being burned by a roofing contractor. Tonka Seamless is a GREAT company and is the "poster child" for the value of Angie's List.

Met with Joe O'Connor for estimate. He seemed very knowledgeable. We liked the color selection. Proposal was done that day. Work scheduled for 10/29 and completed as scheduled. Work looks very neat and professional.

Scott came out on a Saturday to prepare an estimate and match the color of the new gutter with the trim color on the garage. Joe called the following Monday to set an installation date. The work was done as scheduled 11 days later, and there was no mess left behind despite the fact they'd had to walk through a still-dormant hosta bed to get at the gutter. I realized that the down-spout extension they had put on was shorter than Scott and I had discussed, so I called Joe who told me the correct length would be delivered the next day - and it was. Now that's service.

I called and spoke with Joe, within a few days he came out with the est and went over all my options. We picked a date and time to have the gutters insulted. Everything was done as discussed with no problems. They look wonderful. This is our first house and we had no clue where to start. We lucked out with Joe. Joe was excellant and I would highly recommand Tonka Seamless Gutters to everyone.

Did excellent, quality work beginning with candid discussion I had with Joe in the beginning as to what we needed done. We were also having the house painted so Tonka Gutters came out on time to remove the old gutters right before the painting began, and after the painting was completed, they arrived on time to install the new gutters. They were timely, professional and did a quality and first-class job.

It went pretty well. They were a good company to work with. The employees were good people. They cleaned up their messes and they were always were on time.

Very quick to come out and give an estimate. A little difficult to get in touch with, but returns messages within a reasonable time frame. The work was pushed back a couple times because of colder temperatures, so I wasn't sure when they were going to show up. A call to explain the delays would have been appreciated, instead of me having to call them. The gutters were removed just in time for the construction to start. All in all things went well.
