Great experience both in getting the estimate and completing the work. I was concerned that the fascia board might need to be replaced too, but they were able to examine and confirm that the fascia board was solid and just needed repainting. Also appreciated how they explained the process step-by-step so that we knew what we were getting into with this job. When they came out to do the work, it was done within 3 hours, which included some hard work cutting the old gutters from 1950 off of the house. Very happy with the quality and service I received.

Tonka Seamless installed gutters at our previous home so when we moved into a new one I called Tonka to get an estimate. As usual, Joe was extremely professional and on time for the appointment. Unfortunately, this time his estimate was the highest out of the three bids I received (higher by $455). I would still contact Tonka Seamless in the future to get an estimate because they do excellent work.

Tonka arrived very promptly for the estimate. They assessed the condition of our gutters/downspouts (which were cheap and about 15 years old) and determined that they all needed replacing. We agreed. Tonka was efficient, understood the product options very well and made excellent suggestions. They worked up an estimate on the spot; it came in lower than anticipated. They removed the existing gutters the following day to get them out of the way of the painting crew. After the painting job was completed Tonka returned on the scheduled date and time. The two gentlemen who did the installion were pretty grumpy and refused to take our work telephone numbers in case they had questions or ran into problems. This made us nervous. My husband went home at noon to check on their progress; they were done and gone. The product was good and installed well, but we were a bit shocked to discover that they had flush-mounted the downpouts to the siding, which required cutting wide notches into eight sections of trim that stuck out horizontally. It looks fine and I'm sure it will be more stable than mounting the downspouts on top of jutting trim pieces, but there are sections of raw wood on the sides and in back of the downspouts. We had just spent a small fortune having our 1908 house painted and the trim repaired, so we were a bit stunned that gutter installers would cut into it in 8 places without discussing this with us first. Clearly the gutters had not been mounted this way at any time in the house's 102 year history. Had Tonka mentioned that the gutters would be flush-mounted, the painting contractor would have ensured that the new notches were prepped and painted before the downspouts were installed. We asked Tonka to review the work and let us know what had to be done to make sure that this raw wood would not rot. They did the review, but said that nothing needed to be done and the raw wood would be protected by the downspouts. Right. Our painting crew is returning to paint and caulk the raw wood. This is additional expense for us. Update: We just noticed that the gutter installers partially cut through the cable line that runs underneath our home's rain lintel. They had to have been aware of what they'd done, yet said nothing.

They arrived and completed the work as estemated. It was done in a neat and professional timely manner. About a week a a half later we got 2 1/2 inch and 3 1/2 inche rains back to back. Needless to say we got water damage in our lower level where the six foot gutter was not replaced. I then contacted Tonka and they estemated $90. to install that six feet of gutter and necessary downspout. I told them to go ahead and the next week the work was done while I was not at home and they left a bill for $150.00. I sent them a check for $90.00 and have not heard from since.

They were excellent. They were timely, efficent and the price was great.

Experienced two man crew showed up as scheduled at 8am and finished by 2pm. Smooth as silk. No problems at all. Job looks great.

They responded very quickly after the phone call and came out within two days with an estimate. He did not try to sell us on doing the back of the house as well as the front, and instead said "if it's not broken don't fix it".They were out the following week on time and completed the work.

We received five bids for the gutter replacement job. The owner of Tonka Seamless Gutters was the most professional, straightforward contractor of them all. He gave us a bid with a very fair price and there was no sales pressure whatsoever. We are so happy we decided to hire this contractor...we could not be more pleased. They came on time, and took the time to walk around the house and discuss various nuances of the job with us before getting started. The quality of work and materials used was outstanding! They left no mess and completed the job exactly to specifications. The invoice total matched the bid price precisely. We would highly recommend these true professionals for any type of gutter repair or replacement.

Joe was prompt and knowledgeable - identified the key problems and suggested solutions. The crew that came to do the work were nearly 2 hours late and grumpy. The special problem Joe had identified was addressed, but the workmanship was sloppy and a question from me got a sullen response. In sum: great sales, average to poor service.

Joe was great when he came out for the estimate and they actually scheduled the job for the same week. Initial day of Install. 8:00am appointment; called office at 9:10am to see if I had the wrong date. Receptionist said she didn't have anyone's mobile numbers but could transfer me into Joe's VM, I left a message. Never did get a call back or explanation of why there were late. Arrived at 9:30, 1.5 hours late. 2 installers arrived (not Joe). Total job took 1 hour. Confused on the leaf guard. We discussed with Joe during the estimate. The cost doing all leaf guard was hundreds more so we opted just for the side that would difficult to reach. What he didn't point out and what was only obvious after the install is that the gutters without the leave guard will just flow under the one side that does and have to be cleaned anyway. In fact, since the debris will go UNDER the leaf guard it will be even more difficult to clean than without it. I asked installers if they had a solution but they said they didn't. I said I'd seen this nylon-type fabric advertised to put in your gutters and installer thought that *might* work. Installer said he didn't have anything like that but thought we could try it. However, it's something we'll have to do ourselves except I don't know how we're supposed to reach it. Installer suggested we get a ladder as close as possible and then find something long to shove it into place. As the professionals we rely on their best practice/ suggestions. The job finished with the installer telling me he had to go as he had 2 other jobs to complete today. No offer to research or have anyone call me back. When we discussed our dissatisfaction with Joe, he offered the solution of installing Leaf Guard on the remaining sides of the gazebo for an additional price of only $100, well below his cost. We appreciated his effort to correct the issue and make certain that we were satisfied with the end result. Subsequent day of install. Installer arrived and to install the remaining 45' of Leaf Guard. We are satisfied with the work performed and we would use this company in the future.

Worked with Joe who was very responsive and returned my calls within a couple hours. The prices were quite reasonable and half of what I was quoted from a big box home improvement store. They worked on my schedule and were able to install the gutters while I was at work. The only issue was that in some spots they didn't install flashing. Once I mentioned the issue Joe checked with the installers on why that was done. It turned out that due to the way the previous home owners installed the roof they couldn't get the flashing under the tile so in the end he gave me a discount. Otherwise I thought they did a great job and I have recommended them to my friends.

Seemed to go without a hitch: the gentleman who came to our house to give us an estimate was very nice, efficient, and informative. We were originally considering getting leaf guards as well as the new gutters, but chose to install new gutters with wider down-spouts due to pricing. The company came to the house and removed the old gutters and installed the new gutters during the work day while my husband and I were at work. We came home and the work was done. We were given Net 30 day payment terms to make payment, and also received a discount for being Angie's List members. Our new gutters have been working well and we were pleased with the experience of working with this company.

I have used them before on my previous home and, as before, the experience was great. They came out when they said they would and I was expecting to replace all my existing gutters when adding the LeafProof to my new home. After inspecting what I had, they recommended keeping the existing gutters since they seemed to be in good shape and they were basically the same gutters they would install. I couldn't believe they were talking me down from spending money!! That kind of honesty is unheard of in today's world. They installed the LeafProof as well as the bigger downspouts all around my home. They were quick, clean and professional. Price was in-line with other estimates. And the LeafProof is great - much cheaper than the other brands, yet works just as well. Had it for several years at my previous home and never had a problem. I would definitley recommend Tonka Seamless if you need gutters.

Showed up on time, quoted an excellent price, and came when they said they would come. They were able to come the same week that they gave us the quote. The gutters look great, our property was very tidy, and it was very easy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Response to initial inquiry was very prompt. I had an estimate the next business day and the work was completed within a week--just before heavy rains sent the maple tree flowers flying! Time will tell about satisfaction with quality, but the initial impression is good.

Timely, professional, polite and diagnosed the problem, showed me how the short nails and poor work of the other gutter team led to the wind damage, and then repaired it with superior parts -- but inexpensively, so that my gutters could be repaired inexpensively but effectively.

This was an easy job and Tonka was easy to deal with and the price was exactly what they quoted.

The technician?s name was Joe. He was very friendly, very prompt, and very professional. They came out two days after we got the bid. They were good.
