Tonka Seamless Gutters Inc

We had two estimates done. The cost was about the same. Joe with Tonka Seemless gutters was very knowledgeable and had good advice for the placement of our downspouts. He did not try to hard sell us. We took about 2 to 3 weeks to make up our mind. Joe was the reason we went with Tonka Seamless Gutters. We called him, he gave us a date. The company was punctual, Joe was here, and everything went smooth. We said we may paint the house in a year, Joe offered to have his men take the gutters down for the painting and replace them for free :-))

They were able to very quickly fit us into their schedule and got the job done by the date I requested. It was a quick job to replace our dented gutter and siding, but I felt confident that it was done well.

The estimator showed up promptly as scheduled, but quickly decided not to bid on our project. In his opinion, the ice damage was a result of having a metal roof and aluminum gutters, which are not strong enough to withstand the snow sliding off of the roof. He recommended getting steel gutters (which they do not handle). Frankly, I was surprised that decision was not made when I called to set up the appointment for the estimate since I had fully described the situation. On the other hand, I respect their decision to see the situation first hand before walking away from a possible job, and I appreciate their honest opinion. (I know I indicated that we would use this company again, but that's only if a metal roof were not involved.) Apparently, steel gutters will rust, so we have decided to continue using aluminum gutters , counting on heat tape in the gutters to keep the ice from building up. We do not think that the snow sliding off the roof was the real problem. Future winters will prove us right or wrong.

Scott can out for an estimate today and gave us some really frank and honest advice about putting gutters on our home. We have a very complicated roofline that will require custom gutters and Scott said he did not feel comfortable doing the project because of the scope of work involved (rubber roof, damaged flashing, and rotting wood facia). He said Tonka Seamless Gutters only does quality work and he did not think his company sold the appropriate product for what we needed. He then gave me a reference to another custom sheet metal company. I was disappointed the work was so complicated- but SO relieved he told me the truth instead of selling me a product to make a buck. If I had a more straightforward gutter need I would use them. I respect Scott's honesty and professionalism. Great customer service.

They were quick and efficient. They got the job done quickly. The price was right in the middle and we were pleased with that.

I left a msg late at night. One of the owners called me the next morning and a few days later came by and gave me an estimate on the spot. There were no high pressures sales. A few wks before a gutter salesman came through our neighborhood and quoted a price almost twice as much, then said if we signed up on the spot, we would get x percent off. With Tonka gutters, there were no gimmicks. The work was performed as requested, no problems since. The only issue was that I wanted downspouts that you could push up and out of the way when mowing the grass. The workers simply cut a hole and used a hinge. I saw another company with a specific device for this. I called the person back, he explained he had issues with these devices/hardware and said if I was not happy, then he would have someone came back and fix it. After several rain falls and my husband mowing the lawn, the way the downspouts were cut out to allow them to be tipped up have worked just fine. We referred our neighbor across the street to Tonka and they had work performed. The gutters match our blue house perfectly. Many neighbors mentioned how nice our gutters look and blend into the house. Also, the price was very fair and the workers were done in less time than what we were told.

Their price was competitive and everything was outstanding. They did a terrific job.

Joe and his men did a great job! They were very flexible in timing (I had to adjust the timeframe three times due to scheduling conflicts) and were also responsive each time I contacted them. Their work looks fantastic and appears to be very solid. I'd absolutely hire them again!

We just purchased a 1925 bungalow with no gutters. We decided to go with this company after contacting them and one other service provider for bids. Although the other bid we significantly cheaper than Tonka's bid, we ultimately went with Tonka because of their professionalism and wide availability of material. They had more colors and options to choose from and made a great suggestion for us in terms of color, size, exact product, etc. The result is a very nice looking gutter and downspout with leaf guard that matches the house beautfiully. They came out to look at the project the day after the initial contact. The work was completed about five days after they gave us the estimate. They came to do the work as scheduled and worked very quickly and efficiently. From start to finish, everyone we spoke and interacted with at Tonka was extremely friendly and helpful. Their professionalism was outstanding. We will definitely use them again when we get around to adding gutters to the backside of the house.

Pleasant, on time and efficient estimate and installation. Accomodated our wish to take a mid-job day or two to pre-prime and paint (ourselves) the new cut-to-length gutters before final installation by the company. Provided our requested alternate info and advice at estimate time. Kudos, no reservations here.

Excellent work. The estimator came out and walked around the house with me, planning for the installation. The installers communicated well and were flexible re:coming out at a difficult time, when they had to squeeze gutter installation in between various other contractors working on the outside of the house. They were fast, professional, and performed high quality work. Then they came back after the house was done to fine tune the gutter/downspout installation so the house would be completely ready for winter.

The salesman was here the day after I called to give me a quote. I called 1 month later to schedule the work and was on the schedule that same week. The installers did an excellent job removing the old gutter and installing the new. There was no mess left behind. My only regret is not purchasing gutters with a leaf guard. No fault of Tonka though! I thought they were reasonably priced and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Thank you, Tonka, for the excellent work on my home!

FABULOUS experience! I could not be happier! Tonka Seamless Gutters clearly sets the standard for the gutter industry. From the on site meeting to discuss options, formal proposal/estimate to installation and follow up, this experience was SUPERB in every way. My questions in advance, during and following installation were patiently and completely answered. The lead installer, Keith, was FABULOUS. He ensured that the gutters and downspouts were neatly installed and was attentive to detail. Keith and his assistant were respectful of me AND my property. They cleaned up thoroughly before departing. It was a pleasure dealing with them. I will definitely use Tonka Seamless Gutters again.

The job went as expected. No surprises in the bill. The estimate matched the invoice. The crew even chopped some branches down that were scrapping the roof and fixed a shingle!

Joe at Tonka Gutters was wonderful and responsive. They scheduled our estimate for 2 days after we called and were on time and knowledgeable. They did not try to sell us anything more than what we were looking for. We had a budget and they understood that. I was a little surprised that when they showed up a day early, but I guess better early than late. They completed the work in less than 2 hours and cleaned up nicely. They walked me around the property before they left and showed me any alterations or changes they made that worked better for our home. All the men in the crew were professional and courteous. I would definitely call them again.

Excellent, excellent, excellent -- I can't say enough to express my feelings. I called for a quote and was able to schedule an appointment within a few days. The quote was accurate, easy to understand, and covered all the points Joe and I had discussed. He had samples of the gutter and downspouts with him so I could actually see and feel what would go on my home. He also had a brochure of the various colors, which helped in my selection. I wanted to schedule the actual replacement for a day when I would be home. Joe sent his crew at a day and time that was most convenient for me. The crew was actually early, which was terrific. They answered my remaining questions, did the install in a very short period of time, cleaned up ALL the mess, were friendly and professional. I didn't realize that I did not get their names until after they had left. I would have acknowledged their superior customer service skills here -- my aplogies, gentlemen!

My total experience with this company was wonderful. The estimator was about 15 early for our appointment, which was a bonus on that busy day. He was professional, informative and polite. The work was done as promised on the day specified. When the guys were going to leave, they found that the garage door opener, which had worked that morning, was not operating. They did not leave until they found and fixed the problem. I would highly recommend this company.

It went very well. They came out and gave us a bid the same day we called and installed the gutters a week later. It was a very easy project to complete.

I thought it was great. The salesman used a no-pressure style, which I really appreciated. We knew we wanted leaf guards on the gutter on the back of the house and considered doing leaf guards on all the gutters, but he said to only do it on the back of the house, since our current gutters were relatively clean. They installed the gutters quickly and without us being there. My only minor gripe is that when they installed the rain barrel connector to the downspout that they did it too high per the instructions. Oh, well.

Did exactly what was asked for with estimate price given on date they said they would do it. No liter left behind when done.
