They were highly recommended on Angie’s List. They were very good and reasonably priced. They did a great job. They listened to us and everything was nice.

We needed to add some guttering to protect a patio we'd added last summer. Using Angie's list, I identified 3 providers from which to receive an estimate. Tonka responded quickly to my voicemail message and Joe scheduled an estimator for two days later. He was very punctual and professional and provided the estimate. An estimator from a second company never called to schedule a visit and a third estimator was very prompt to schedule and show up. Very prompt, personal and professional, but his estimate was well above the one I received from Tonka. I had been concerned that our small job may not interest some of the providers. Tonka indicated at the time of the estimate that they were a few weeks behind due to weather. We were in no rush. The following week, however, Joe called to say one of his teams would be working nearby this week and they would stop by when they finished it ... which is what happened. We are pleased with the quality and prompt work and would certainly call on them again for gutter service.

Love these guys! They were responsive, professional, came when they said they would, and did an excellent job. I called them after having a bad experience with another gutter company that treated me poorly and never made good on their promise to finish the job. Tonka Seamless Gutters took care of things immediately. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Scott came out on September 6th to give us an on-the-spot estimate. Even though his estimate came in higher than a competitor's bid, we decided to go with Tonka because we were impressed with Scott's punctuality and professionalism, and our daughter had had a good experience with the company a few years ago. Installation was scheduled for October16th. The crew arrived promptly and did an excellent job in a very short time. We are pleased with the results and looking forward to a far less slippery sidewalk and driveway this winter.

Got quote on 9/24, very competitive bid by experienced sales rep. Informed me that it would be 3-4 weeks before installation. Installation was scheduled for 10/29, crew was on time, very professional, cleaned up after their work was complete and took the time to walk me through exactly what they had done and answered all the questions that I had. Definitely worth considering for your next gutter project.

It went really well. I'm not sure $500 is right for the cost, but whatever they charged us it was a good price. I got an estimate from another company that advertises on Angie's List (has deals here) and even without a special deal, Tonka's price was better. They came out for an estimate and then came back about two weeks later to do the job. In both cases they were punctual and professional. We're very happy with the job they did. We'd definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

Joe did a good job on the estimate. The price was the real price rather than an inflated price with a "discount" that was good for x number of days. The prices were similar in the end, but with Joe there was no game playing or pressure to sign or lose the discount. The installers worked very quickly. My only complaint is that a roller magnet was not used and I found numerous installation screws. I had to call and request that the roller magnet be used, when it should have been part of the installation clean-up.

I was very pleased with them! They're definitely A plus. I've seen all the other homes in the neighborhood that had different gutter service providers and there were many features of it that are a little bit awkward installations and Tonka did a really clever installation at my house. So the gutters are virtually invisible, the downpipes are virtually invisible; they used two different colors I think. It was just their ability to design a better solution and it really looks nice! Not only that their price was in the ball.

Joe and his crew did a great job. Joe (the owner) came out within two days of my inquiry and provided an estimate as he left our first meeting. I had another company paint my house and Joe sent his crew out to remove the gutters so that the painters could paint all the trim and repair water damage (no extra charge). He then returned two days after the paint crew finished to put the new gutters and leaf guards up. They completed the work in one day and left my property in excellent condition (no mess).

It was beyond excellent. Joe sent his workers out immedietly when they needed to. They removed my gutters and replaced them in an extremely timely fashion. In addition, they were there the next day to fix a small problem. Joe and his crew were extremely professional and I would highly recommend them. They are the best I ever have. The price is higher than most, but very well worth it. I would recommend them for the Angie's List Super Service Award.

From the initial stages of the project they were fantastic. I had another bid from a year earlier that was 2 times the cost because they wanted to replace some existing gutters I had. But Tonka checked them and said they were fine and give me a super reasonable price. I'm a die hard DYI kind of guy but 2nd story gutters was something I wanted to leave to the pro's. Their work was perfect and I would highly recommend them.

They did a real good job with only one complaint; some of the gutter brackets that stabilizes the gutter to the house were left on the ground after installation of the new gutter without notifying me. I did not notice them until I stepped on them while cutting the grass, otherwise the service was good.

We had 5 estimates done for gutters on our house. All of the quotes were around the same amount. Tonka was recommended to us by another contractor (a relative of our friend), and we noticed that they also had great reviews on Angie's list so we decided to go with them. Joe was great to work with. He was professional, knew what he was doing as he had many years of experience, and he was a nice guy. We had to reschedule our initial gutter appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, and Joe was great about it. When the gutters were installed, they did a great job. We would definitely recommend Tonka.

Tonka service and installation were excellent. They provided an estimate in a timely manner and then installed the gutters on schedule. They were highly professional at each stage of the process. We would definitely hire Tonka again and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

The leaf guards were installed as scheduled. We were away on vacation during the installation and returned to the completed job - the existing landscaping was not damaged and the clean-up had been completed. I called Tonka because of their great reviews on Angie's List and I am really glad I did! They were quick to call me back and were friendly and professional over the phone. Steve came over within a few days to do the estimate and they were able to do the work when I needed it done, shortly after the estimate. It seemed to me that they wanted the business and are interested in pleasing their customers. When I asked about paying the bill (I assumed I would have to pay ahead of time, at least a portion of it), I was told that they like their customers to pay after they are finished and are pleased with their work. I thought that was a nice touch and it isn't something I've seen from many vendors. The gutters look fabulous! They aren't exaggerating when they say that they blend into the house. I really wanted gutters that wouldn't affect the clean lines of our house and Tonka really delivered. I am so happy that I called them a second time to put gutters on our new porch. I highly recommend them.

Most of my house already had gutters but this was the place that was very difficult to attach gutters and they were very careful about how they did it and spent a lot of time explaining to me how they were going to have to do it because there was no other way to do it. They were very willing to accommodate me. Scheduling was tricky but that was because of my constraints and they were very willing to accommodate my constraints.

They were here to do the estimate. They explained what they were going to do in about 20 minutes and no nonsense. I called them and then set up the appointment, the job was completed a week after that time. They came did the gutters outside my home, left the bill and it was all on the up and up. I did not have to pay them ahead. It was all seamless and a great business experience. They were timely, the product is a little above other products, and the way they fasten the gutters to the roof were more then I have seen before. They did a good job. The same day we got a a storm with 70 mile an hour winds and 2.5 inches in 2 hours and they held up great.

I have a home in the 50th & France area that I had just finished a major renovation & sale. As part of the negotiated close with the new home buyer, gutters were requested. Tonka had a rep out to look it over within 1 day. He had some suggestions that were helpful. I was not in a hurry & was given a date 8 days out. They did miss that date & failed to call that day. However, when I called I was impressed by their professionalism. No excuses, just an honest apology for an honest mistake. They did the work the next day, AM. The workers were quick, clean & did a fine job. When I called in to pay & requested a lien waver, it was provided within minutes. If you are a contractor or homeowner I would recommend Tonka. 1st rate company.

I hired joe to install new gutters about 4 years ago. They worked well for about a year but then my tenants started to complain frequently about the basement flooding. I asked joe to investigate and to his credit he did come back. Without doing much investigation he immediately responded that the gutters needed to be cleaned. The gutters had just been cleaned so I knew that wasn't the cause. I was really surprised by the hostility he showed as he had been professional during the install. To make a long story short, after returning to this property last weekend (I live in Chicago and don't make it back frequently) and observing the gutters during heavy rain I discovered the pitch of one of the gutters was completely off, so the rain water was not even making it to the downspout. Instead it was pouring out the end opposite the downspout which happened to be near a window well. In addition even though I had him install 3x4 downspouts the holes were not cut large enough. This defeats the purpose of having 3x4 downspouts. Also he did not use the largest sized gutter (I believe this is size 6) but instead used the smaller size which is not what had been agreed to. Instead of working with me to resolve any of these issues he went into a bizarre rant about how my house was in north minneapolis and how the slant of my roof prevented the rainwater from making it to the gutter. I am genuinely surprised to see the this guy with such high ratings given how unprofessional he was towards me. Who knows maybe he was just having an off day. I feel I should have received at least a partial refund for the shoddy work,

The staff was very courteous and prompt to my inquiry about gutters. The worker who came out and gave an estimate with prompt and quickly provided an estimate. He walked around the house and garage with me and did not pressure me at all with what I was asking. He even provided tips on what would save me money. After getting the estimate we were not hounded for their service, which made us even more happy. The gutters were installed, without us being present, as my husband and I were both working. The gutters looked great and function well!

I rated price as "N/A" because I didn't call other companies for an estimate. I read reviews of several companies on Angie's List and found that Tonka Seamless is both reliable and quick (in terms of fitting customers into their schedule). Since we want the leaking gutter replaced ASAP, I took the adventure to not shop around. Scott arrived close to noon time on 5/21, spending about 1/2 hour with me, inspecting the situation, giving me suggestions, and providing an estimate. He is experienced and professional, candid and patient. I called them back the next day and got the job scheduled on 5/30. The installer was supposed to arrive between 10am and noon, but didn't arrive until probably about 3pm (I got home around 4pm and he was there working hard). He told me that they're short of hands. He is professional and courteous, and we are satisfied with the job. Now we have a functional gutter that looks great and 5 bigger downspouts that can handle our house!

Contacted Tonka Gutters to have an estimate given after I filed a claim for storm damage. They sent out their estimator on Tuesday and the estimate came in under the claim amount from the insurance company, even though I upgraded to a slightly larger size gutter. They said work could be done later that week or earlier the next week - we asked for later that week as we were planning a BBQ that weekend and wanted the gutters replaced and looking nice by then. They came out and replaced the gutter Friday afternoon - in the rain - while we were at work. I came home and looked at the job and noticed the gutters were hanging way lower on one side of the house than the other - almost to the point of it looking like it was falling off. I immediately called Joe to ask that it be fixed, he took my info and called my back first thing Monday morning and gutter was rehung the same day. Looks fabulous now, very impressed with their level of service and value for the price paid.
