Superpainters

The interior painting. They were done in a day! I don't have the biggest home, just a two bedroom twin home. They moved all the furniture out and back in just one day. I got home from work at 7 pm and they were gone, but my walls were beautiful. They never even let my dogs out of the bedroom! Highly recommend.

I recommend Superpainters and feel they will do great work. My advice on any project is to obtain several bids and I would suggest Superpainters be one your bidders. I worked with Bob Villano (his father Larry owns the company) during the bidding/estimation process. That process included Bob performing a test to determine how difficult the stripping process would be. The bid increase from the initial estimate, but this was fair due to the poor existing primer and paint. Once we chose Superpainters, Bob painted several color samples the week prior to work starting. Those extra days were helpful and allow my wife and me to see the color options in a variety of light and conditions. Bob was very helpful while we selected a color that fit other aspects of our home and our tastes. Work started shortly after their workers arrived, a little past 9am each day. The were gone by 5pm and the site was left very, very clean. All ladders, tools and other materials were tucked away under our deck. All paint chips and sawdust were vacuumed each day. They did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the project too and left no damage to plants or shrubs. They used drop cloths everywhere. The work was finished in five days. Some issues with the house came up during the job. Superpainters was up front and gave us options. For the most part issues were just taken care of - unexpected issues didn't result in an increase in the quote. Any purchased materials (siding and trim in our case) were accompanied by a receipt. We had the opportunity to discuss the issues and nothing was tacked on without approval - this was appreciated. A fellow named Keith Garvais was sub-contracted through Superpainters for carpentry. This isn't Keith's review, but I wanted to note that he did great work repairing siding and attaching soffit vents. Larry explained that Keith does a lot of work with them. Superpainters graded as an 'A' overall in my estimation. Because I don't feel it appropriate to give out A's in each sub-category, they scored lower in price and responsiveness. Their price is balanced by quality of work, both of which I was comfortable. If a low-quality, cheap paint job is desired, another company might be a better option. Responsiveness was good - phone calls were always answered or quickly returned. They chose not to work on a day when there was a high chance for rain. That made perfect sense but a phone call would have been appreciated nonetheless. To repeat, my advice on any project is to obtain several bids and I would suggest Superpainters be one your bidders. I recommend Superpainters and feel they will do great work.

The job went well. They were not super cheap but they knew what to do.
