Very professional service. 2nd time we have used them to cut down a tree. (Last time was the fall of 2007.) Great results both times. Tree was 18" from neighbors 6ft wood fence & 8ft from our house. Crew was very meticulous and executed surgeon like precision to remove the tree w/ a crane leaving no damage to any property and no debris to clean up. Pricing was very competitive w/ another large, local tree service company.

Excellent. The customer service was excellent -- the responded immediately and arrived promptly as promised. They did a great job.

They were very quick to show up to do the work (within 3 days) and completed the work within 4 hours. They showed up on-time, and were all very nice! Great team to work with, and would recommend. I am waiting for the final piece of work to be done - Oak and Elm's to be cut late this fall/early winter. I'll put another update after that work is completed.

The work was done promptly after scheduling with the estimator. The guy who did the work was friendly and professional--excellent service.

They were easy to get hold of and the work went very well. The people who came out to do the job were excellent. I would use them again even though they are not cheap.

They were fantastic, punctual, and clean. Their price was really competitive. They came in several hundred dollars lower than everybody else, but they did an outstanding job. They sent out an arborist that actually looked at the tree and made the correct recommendation in the end that the tree needed to come out. After he cut it down, we realized that it was hollow all the way through. They really know their stuff, and they were very easy to work with.

I received two estimates in the mail. Shadywood Tree Experts were by far the lowest bid. I was skeptical about the quality I would recieve at such a great price. I went with them anyway. They were extremely professional and friendly. They came out for the first service when they said they would and performed the necessary work. The price was exactly what they quoted me.

They showed up with three guys and knocked it out in about an hour. They basically cut a path up into each tree, cleared what they could from the lines, and then used a rope to pull it over in the right direction. The trees were russian olives, about 30 feet high. Not a big deal, but they were very efficient and nice. I wasn't happy with the price. When it was bid, I understood that 500 would cover everything, including stump removal. But it just covered the downing, so that's pretty expensive. I cancelled the grinding of 3 stumps, which they wanted another 250 for. Might be ok for some folks, but that's too high for me. The different services are billed and payed seperately, like they're different companies. But you get it all on a single sheet. It's just misleading, but not deliberately I don't think.

They were good. They did the work quickly, and there response was excellent. They have given me suggestions to me on what to do about the tree taking over my whole yard. They have been in business for a long time, they are very helpful and answer all my questions.

They trimmed the bush and they never came back again. I hadn't paid for the stump yet, because they said that was a separate job. I still have a stump that needs to be removed.

They did a great job. They were very professional. It was a huge crew that came out and they were allover the trees, but they all did it safely as they used the right rigging that needed to be up in the trees. They cleaned up well after themselves. I think their price was little high.

I have been in other towns and contracted other tree services and by far Shadywood is top shelf. I have referred them to my family and friends

They just did an outstanding service. They came on time with a crew of 5 workers.

I had a big Norway Maple with a large branch over my neighbor's house along with extensive decay in the main trunk. I received estimates from about 5 different companies, all reporting that I should remove not just the branch but the tree itself. Shadywood offered the best price and were very efficient. I was not at home when the tree was removed buy my neighbor said it took them about one hour. Shadywood did a good clean up job and the only damage done was indentations to the ground due to the heavy equipment that was used. The stump will be removed at a later date by Shadywood.

This was a great experience. I called for a free estimate in the beginning of April, 2008. Shadywood sent a certified arborist to evaluate our two trees. Both the Spring Snow Crab and Silver Maple were budding. The arborist was professional enough to say that it would not be healthy to trim the Spring Snow Crab unless it was dormant. I want my trees to be healthy so I was appreciative that he would be honest and not just try to get the work. The company followed up in October, 2008 and offered a 10% discount to the spring estimate and we agreed to have the work done now that our trees are dormant. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently and cleaned up everything. My boys loved the entertainment.

Went well - the owner came out and estimated, I agreed to price, and within 2-3 days the work was done. A separate person came out on a different day to do the tree stump removal. I was quite pleased with their professionalism and punctuality. Tree services are expensive - $600 for tree removal and $300 for stump removal in my yard - but I felt the price to value ratio was justified.

Shadywood provided a thorough estimate and, when hired, performed an excellent job. We particularly appreciated that they respected property lines and cleaned up afterward, as the trees were close to both the street and an adjacent neighbor's home. There was a little confusion on scheduling, but that was cleared up with a couple of phone calls.

Perfect-good clean-up which is rare these days in the industry.

They were very nice and helpful explaining the process and provided a prompt estimate. I would trust them to do the work, but the price came in a few hundred dollars higher than a competitor. I'm going with the competitor.

One of the trees was angled and leaning toward the neighbor's property. It was a difficult situation because it was in a heavily wooded area. A crane was used to remove the cut tree. Another of the four was on a hill right next to the house in the middle of a hosta garden. After removal there was no damage to the hostas - in fact it was hard to tell where the tree fell. The third tree was a large oak next to the house in the woods. It too was removed without damage to the house or surrounding greenery. The fourth tree was a large pine (50+ feet) and again, it was removed without damage to surrounding grass or trees. The yard was completely cleaned and other than the trees being gone, you'd never know they were there at all.

I received a post card from this company. I need to have a spruce tree's canopy raised up. I checked them out on this list and they had a great rating. I contacted them about the tree, they gave me a $20 Angie's List discount without my asking. They called before they showed up and did an excellent job and removed the branches and left the area clean. I would use them again without hesitation. The price was very fair.

Keith came to the house as promised for the estimate. The written estimate included tasks to be performed, the cost, and the tasks not covered (cleaning up after the stump grind). They showed up on time first thing Monday morning. A large crew of men arrived...about 6 guys. Each man had an assigned task for cutting and chipping the branches. The crew was well organized and were able to finish the job in a little more than 30 minutes. These guys were awesome.
