great, I've had them come twice, replacing windows in stages. I'm looking for the patio door replacement and am going back to them

The service was great from the beginning to the end. Accurate bid, work done on time as scheduled, great communication, clean up was super, follow-up was prompt, and there were absolutely no problems. They are a model for how these types of projects should be handled.

It went very very well. Everyone was highly professional, responsive, and organized. It was a very low stress experience and the windows look and work great. I'm confident they'll last 20 years or more!

Went great. Tracy Myers was our rep and he was very responsive, not pushy and interested in getting us what we wanted; no hard sell or push. He was amenable to all discussions and requests for recommendations. The window was delivered a day ahead of install (as scheduled), and the installers came on time and did a nice job even with a few last minute changes. Tracy was in touch with the installers throughout the install. Overall I give them an A+ and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scherer Brothers for purchasing and installing Marvin Windows.

The sales team did a great job and the installation was done as promised and on time. The house was kept clean and we are very satisfied with the end product.

Excellent overall. Sales staff did an excellent job measuring the replacement windows and trim. The scheduling and coordination of homeowner preparation, window delivery and installation by Sherer Brothers staff was very well coordinated. We replaced half our windows and plan to use Sherer Brothers for the second half.

I received bids for Anderson Replacement, Pella, and Marvin Infinity windows. Anderson was the highest and Pella and Marvin were about the same. My wife and I's criteria were a quality product, low maintenance and professional installation to make sure they looked good. I went to the show rooms of the above three companies to look at the windows in person. We decided to go with Marvin Infinity due to the quality, affordability and because we were impressed with the sales consultant from Scherer Brothers. Dave W. was very knowledgeable about the product - he has been in the window industry for over 25 years. He helped my wife and I determine the style of window - Awning, Double Hung, Picture that would look nice, did a great job measuring what was needed (the installers said he really is accurate, which makes their job easier) and helped us choose whether a full replacement or insert would work best. He did quote us inserts for more of our windows, but realized that they would have been more work for the installers (which they confirmed) and wouldn't look as good. Where we did use inserts - 7 double hung windows, they look great and went in easily. Dave was a pleasure to work with and treated us fairly. Scherer Brothers uses installers that are trained by Marvin Windows to properly install the windows. The installation crew from MDS Remodling - Nate A, Ben H. and Minh N. worked really well together. The quality of their work, the trim, fitting and installing the windows was outstanding. They were conscientious about keeping our home as clean as possible during this process. They installed 18 windows in 2 1/2 days. At the end of each day, the debris was hauled away. My wife and I are very happy with our new windows and the work of the installers. We are glad we used Scherer Brothers for this project and would highly recommend them for window installation.

After several years of battling some basic basement windows we had installed 8 years ago, we took the plunge to replace them with quality windows. It took another year to find the right company to do the work - I should have called these guys first! Kirk was amazing and walked me through options, did an assessment and gave us a solid quote. We went with Marvin windows and love them! Now with winter upon us, we have zero regrets. Our basement is warm, our windows are fabulous, and we can easily open the windows for air in the summer.

The installers were prompt, professional, accommodating, and neat. The old window and door were removed and disposed of quickly, and the installation went quite smoothly. They even made a slight change in the exterior fascia around the sliding door to match the existing work. Good workmanship on the interior too. Nice guys.

They were terrific! Replacing windows is a pricey thing to do, but they were in line with other pricing. The quality of the windows is terrific. I love having all new windows with good insulating properties, and the features to be able to wash them from inside the home. The installations went smoothly as well. The crew was timely, friendly, cooperative, and cleaned up when finished. Its all perfect now and I'm delighted.

The install didn't do as smoothly as we want it there were a couple of things that didn't happen correctly. Our house is somewhat strange in that we have a large number of exterior doors. We have two front doors, there is a walk-out door in the basement, there is another side door and we also had a door on our garage replaced. The doors were put in fine, but the holes for the dead bolts weren't where they should be. I had to chisel out a couple things to get things to line up and it wasn't as a result of fiddling or anything because this was like note immediately. The staff and the person who did work also was really good it just seemed like a couple of things slipped through at the end. But the sales staff was great, doors were fantastic, we were really happy with the quality in terms of product, the pricing was good, no other issues.

The company ordered the wrong door hardware, installed it on the wrong door, and ordered the wrong door to fit the hardware. In addition, they are asking us to wait days without the ability to close and latch an exterior door. Finally, they did not provide us with keys to the new door.

The installation went very good.one window came in from the factory,damaged.they got a new one from the factory and promptly installed it.the installers were very professional and did a very good job.I would not hesitate to get them to do more work for me.

Excellent installers were very good,they put down drop clothes and cleaned up behind themselves.had the same crew for four years straight.

Install was on time and they did great work. Price is a bit higher, but I got quality work which was important to me. I didn't want a leaky exterior door!

They spent the time to come out measure and give me options of what I could have. They were very informative and help me pick out what was best for my budget and look. I ended up going with a Marvin Fiberglass door that its maintenance free! I am so glad I didn't have to worry about a thing once the project was started. I would highly recommend using them again.

Excellent. We are very pleased with the results. Not one glitch from working with their salesperson to having their installers complete the installation. We found everyone to be responsive to communications, happy to answer questions and professional. The installers noticed some loose trim on our wooden steps and fixed them for us. The job was completed in the time frame they estimated.

Dave Wahlstrom was the sales end of the operation. He came out and spent about 2 hours with us answering our questions and sharing information about the pluses and minuses of the various window brand options. We knew wanted to replicate the look of the windows we were replacing, early 1960 era Andersens. We decided to go with the Infinty line from Marvin based on the low to none maintenance for both the interior and exterior. Dave made some recommendations about how we could retain the overall look but include some updating so we changed out the window over the kitchen sink from two casements to a single awning style. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and the new window is like a picture window that opens. We also change a couple fo openings that had been triple casements to double casements. Dave wasn't pushy; something I appreciate for a decision of this magnitude. Dave measured everything and put in the order and about 6 weeks later we were scheduled for install. I can't say enough about the professionalism of our install crew. Jared was the leader, assisted by Grayson . They were meticulous, never settling for "good enough". They arrived promptly each morning and cleaned up each night before they left. Jared was particularly effective when faced with the inevitable surprises. He was good at describing the issue and laying out options so I could make decisions. We were lucky, we didn't run into anything that ended up increasing the price of the contract. When they were finished, Jared made sure we knew how everything operated. We love the new windows and I would use Scherer again without reservation.
