+ -1 moreHe was courteous and more than willing to see, if he could make it out to the house that day. He not only showed up, but came three hours quicker. He is a worker. He charges from the time he leaves his office, to the time he gets back, but I can tell you, he does not waste time. He was on the problems quick. He had the materials needed, suggested ways to do it without costing more, explaining everything he was doing. I sat and watch everything he did. He had no problems with that at all. He talked about his brother in the business also and his father, who taught him to do things right the first time. Top notch guy! I liked him. I liked his work & will hire him again in a heartbeat. I expected a higher bill, but when it came, it was $272 for two leaks, material, a main valve replaced, and all done on the same day called and with a smile. He has my vote. He is old school. We need more of him in our lives. Angie's List helped me to find him. Hopefully this will help you too.
Description of Work: Two leaks & the water not stopping even with main closed. One above the electrical box & one tight in the joists. No one could come the same day, except Joel who said he would try and make it after his current jobs. He came 3 hrs ahead of what he said. He went right down and after some inspection and trials of turning off the water and working with the main, he started to repair the leaks. Finally since the water main was not shutting off the water, he had to change out the water main before, he could even start the first leak! The 2nd leak was in a very difficult & tight spot with 5 branching connections tied to the one he was trying to fix. In the end there were three jobs done on the day called and done quickly! There was ladder work involved, overhead work in the floor joists. Removal of old copper pipe and brackets, replacement of same, removal of valves, and connectors. Removal of ground strapping & screwing it back in place on new pipe. Time is money, but he works fast.

+ 0 moreTHIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE USED DAVE AND WE'RE GLAD WE DID. HE FIT US IN TO HIS SCHEDULE WITH LITTLE NOTICE AND WORKED LATE TO GET THE WORK DONE BEFORE THE WEEKEND, AFTER BEING DELAYED ON A LARGE JOB, WHICH WE REALLY APPRECIATED. REASONABLE PRICE FOR QUALITY WORK.
Description of Work: REPLACED AND REPAIRED PIPING FOR GAS CLOTHES DRYER, INSTALLED NEW SHUT OFF VALVE AND NEW VENTING FOR DRYER.

+ -1 moreI BOUGHT A VANITY TOP FOR MY SINK AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME OUT AND INSTALL IT. HE WAS ALSO SUPPOSED TO BUY A FAUCET FOR THE SINK. HE CALLED AND ASKED FOR ME TO STAY OFF THE PHONE, AND HE WOULD CALL ME WHEN HE WAS DONE WITH ANOTHER JOB. HE NEVER CALLED.
