I cannot say enough good things about Outdoor Designs. Everything from the responsiveness to my emails and phone calls to the actual product and installation. The quality and workmanship is excellent. The timing of the build and installation worked with my schedule. I am highly recommending them.
Description of Work: We had a new 3 piece mailbox installed and the old removed and disposed of.

We had purchased a screen house from Outdoor Designs previously. The quality was so outstanding that we chose them again for our cedar fence. The design and workmanship are outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: I have been working with Jon for 3 years trying to convince our Homeowners board to replace all 14 of our Mail boxes. Jon has kept the price the same and has been super cooperative and very easy to work with. I have seen his work and it is top quality. The shop is very organized and clean. When and if I get the approval, I will enjoy seeing his work.

Did not go well.
Description of Work: Contacted them to ask if they built or designed gazebos. Talked with a gentleman who was not initially responsive. After a bit of discussion he said he would draft up something and get back to me the next day to go over the design. Never heard from him again. New pet peeve - if you don't want the job, tell me. Do not pretend you are going to do something and never get back to me.

As a small business in today’s economy you have to wear many different hats throughout the day. I am back in the shop helping out with production, running to the store for supplies and in the office answering the phones and doing all that is necessary. Our old mailbox and post were severaly damaged by the last winter. Outdoor Designs had provided the previous one about 15 years ago so I contacted them again. I sent an e-mail about 7am Wednesday morning saying that I needed a new mailbox and described what I wanted (cedar post, large mailbox with cedar wrap around cover and newspaper bin. WIthin 1/2 hour I received a reply with a suggested mailbox and full estimate plus a complete price list with pictures for all that are available. I called on the phone and spoke to Jon Sanders. He explained that the earliest they could come would be Friday because they had to first call "Minnesota One Call" to get utility lines marked. They came Friday morning and installed the mailbox.
Description of Work: Removed old mailbox and post and installed another.
