+ 1 morePainted all rooms walls and ceilings. Repaired wood and woodwork. Replaced stairs hand railing and painted to match existing. Replaced some ceiling light fixtures. Painted exterior trim and replaced rotted wood as needed. Removed, sanded and repainted kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets. Replaced hinges and knobs. Removed, replaced bathroom tub and drywall area. Then painted.
Description of Work: Tim and his crew helped to remodel a cottage house we bought and wanted to lease out. He returned my call promptly, came to the house to be remodeled, and gave me a detailed estimate and possible starting date. Once we agreed on the price and work to be done he came with his helpers in just a few days and started working on our list of repairs and painting to be done. Tim and his crew were fantastic! I could not have expected more from his company. They came when they said, they cleaned up at the end of each day and did beautiful work. Hilgers Painting company was ust wonderful to work with in every detail. We will continue to use the Hilgers Company for all work we need!!

+ -1 moreI was not pleased with the quality and color match of the job. I contacted the owner and he came to my house to review. He agreed that the job should have been better and committed to re-sand and re-paint the window frames. Following that meeting, he never returned or responded to my emails or voicemails.

+ -1 moreI had a tight time frame and budget hoping to have a family gathering at my house over the holidays giving Hilgers Painting just under 3 weeks to complete the project. With my permission, Tim personally worked most evenings until 10:00pm after putting in a full day's work on other jobs as well as ours. Every day he left the job site picked up, swept and vacuumed. My wife felt very comfortable with Tim and his crew being in the house even when we were away from home. The deadline was met and we had a wonderful time over the holidays with family members in our new beautiful basement/theater room.
Description of Work: Hilgers Painting acted as my general contractor to completely remodel my 800 sq ft 35 year old basement that included new sheet rock, slight structural changes, custom cabinetry, new lighting, resurfaced the existing brick fireplace with artificial stone, ceiling repair, new doors, new moldings, bathroom update, new carpet, a high end HDTV theater and of course all the painting and finishing of the woodwork.
