He asked if I was competent with a screwdriver and then explained how to do the repair myself. He was more than friendly and helpful.

Went OK. Had to wait a bit to get an appointment. The technician was timely, courteous and knowledgeable. Had to wait again for parts. Everything working great now.

I called this provider to get a quote for an appliance repair based on the great reviews they have on Angie's list. It's been over 5 weeks since I called and left a message, and still haven't received a response from this company! Obviously, I would suggest not wasting your time attempting to get in contact with this company.

They quoted me on the phone and it was $90 trip charge. When they got here, they told me it was $99. I told the person I talked to in their office what was wrong and he looked up a part and gave me an estimate. So we felt that they will be able to fix it. The person who came talked to their office personnel and he was giving him information and part numbers. Then he tells us that the part needed is no longer made. So, we were very disgusted that they gave us the impression that it could be repaired and then they told us that it cannot be repaired when they got here. Plus we had to pay for the $99 trip charge. We were not at all happy. I felt that the trip charge was a little excessive and it changed once they got here. The person I talked to in the office was not the same person that came here. I just felt frustrated with the $99 trip charge. They lead us to believe that they have the parts of a 15year old dishwasher and that they can repair it. In the end, the part was unavailable, so I don?t know why they did not know that when I talked to them in the office. Obviously we would not have opted for the repair of a dishwasher you could not get parts for.

Joel arrived well within the window of time indicated and was able to diagnose the problem right away as a lid switch which needed to be replaced. He went out to his truck, but unfortunately, didn't have the part that he needed. But he was able to schedule a return time for Saturday between 12 and 4. This was excellent, as it meant that I didn't have to take off work to be there. On Saturday, he arrived at 11 am and was done with the repair before 12. He was very friendly, courteous, nice to my extremely helpful cat and was quite efficient at getting the work done quickly. Thank you!!

Joe was very prompt, professional and helpful. He assessed both the washer and dryer issues, performed maintenance on the washer, and gave us a referral for dryer vent cleaning.

The window of service was 10 am to 2 pm.,...he arrived between 11 and 11:30......gone by 12;30 ish. He called before he arrived...and was at my door within 5 minutes. of that call. He introduced himself...and proceeded immediately to laundry room. Kazem then pulled up information on computer...listened to me describe issue and we started to troubleshoot. I left him alone for about 1/2 hour....and then checked back in to see how it was going. He described the issue and what he did to fix it. Then proceeded to give me tips on further maintenance I can do to prevent future service calls. Found very helpful.. Once upstairs...he showed me tips on all kitchen appliances....again ..all in the name of appliance longevity. Kazem made this repair a pleasant experience. Very professional and pleasant to work with. I expected this to be very expensive....but was soo happy to hear final total. granted it wasn't a difficult repair....BUT....between trip charge and hourly rate...I expected MUCH higher. If I implement his tips....this may be the last repair I need for awhile. Thank you Kazem ..and D and T appliance.

The service technician was very pleasant. He was neat and clean about doing his work on the refrigerator. It did take three times for him to come out and figure out what the problem was. That finally took care of it.

My Frigidaire was cool, but not as cold as it should be. The tech showed up on time and was quick in his diagnosis of replacing the entire unit as repairs would exceed replacement cost. I ultimately selected D&T because 1) their excellent history on Angie's List and 2) they actually had a person answer their phone (during normal business hours which sadly wasnt the case at some of their competitors)

The receptionist and techs were both very pleasant and professional. They were always very neat and careful while doing their work. The estimate was consistent with the final cost to repair.

Left two messages in four days with NO return calls - feels to me that my business is not important to them. I will NOT use this company under any circumstances.

They were very prompt and very accurate on what the prices are online for parts. They weren't overcharging.

The dishwasher had 3 issues. It wasn't drying well, top rack would stick on one side while being pushed back in, and the front panel had a water type mark on the front panel that wasn't removable. All three were addresses. The serviceman seemed knowledgeable with the brand that I had and was able to give me some techniques to try to resolve two of the three problems. He also gave me a heads up on issues with new products and surface imperfections which seem to be standard in todays market. I will be trying this company again next time I need them. My only concern will be the cost factor which seemed to be an issue with many previous Angie's members. For those who may be considering replacing a dishwasher, I would verify prior to a purchase that it has a heated or fan drying system. This may take it out of an energy efficient category, but, the time spent drying, in particular plastics, will find the energy efficiency category not to be worth it.

Joe was very personable and professional. He was careful not to get water, dirt, etc on my floor. He explained everything to me and the dishwasher worked well after the repairs were made. The cost was almost $300 after the Angie's list discount on the part and labor, and included the truck charge. I felt this was a pretty good price, although he was only here for about an hour. I would definitely use D&T again and would hope I had Joe come again.

I called Asko to receive a list of approved appliance repair companies. First company on the list to return my call. Marcus was prompt, helpful , friendly and informative, and fixed the problem. Provided insight for general maintenance. Will hire again...

They were helpful in identifying the right parts

D&T recommended by manufacturer. Joe had much experience with LG appliances. On first and second visit replaced inlet valves which often fail and, at my request cleaned lint from filterless exhaust (common problem, only $60 when machine already open for valve replacement. Still, with our low lint clothes, I wouldn't do that again. When problem was not solved, Joe called LG for advice. They recommended replacing control circuit board ($212 parts, labor charge waived by D&T) Plausible given the problem. Problem still not solved. Joe called LG 3 more times, consulting with me each time, and consulted with other D&T Techs. L&G recommended replacing outlet pump which I found implausible. But it worked. And when Joe replaced the pump (already noisy due to wire rim eyeglasses left in wash earlier.) it solved the problem. At the same time he removed the new $212 control circuit board and put back the original, crediting us for the full cost, and still no labor charge. Tough problem, and to their credit, they stayed on it tenaciously until we were satisfied. They did not charge us for their false starts, owning responsibility for their mistaken diagnoses and holding LG responsible for theirs. Problems are not always simple to solve. But Joe and D&T took responsibility to hunt down a solution and only charge us for what actually helped. Great experience.

Authorized LG washer repair. Appointment was easy to set up and was able to come out within a couple days. Problem of broken pump was assessed very quickly and repair to less than 30 min. Work was done well and efficiently. Only comment issues are regarding billing and labor price. Parts were reasonable. Labor according to invoice was at a rate of over $500/hour! Makes me think twice if it is no longer a warranty repair. Plus - they now have a billing policy where they require you to have your credit card on file. They are too small of a company to have strong credit card fraud protection. After the Target fraud fiasco, I want to be very careful whom I give my credit card out to have on file. They were willing to bill me per my request this time, but said in the future to do business with them -- they will require to give them a credit card number to have in their database. Need to assess whether it is worth the credit fraud risk to do business with them in the future.

UPDATE: D & T sent their service manager who determined that the pump that had been replaced was also defective - he fixed it, re-installed and correctly tested to validate the work. Had the initial serviceman tested his work, the problem would have been solved nearly a week sooner. I would be highly reluctant to call them again though...once burned you know. I changed their overall grade from an "F" to a "C" to compensate for the good work the service manager did. Poorly!! First, the part that was required had to be ordered so they had to come back a second time a week later. The pump was damaged and had to be replaced. The cost was about $400 - no idea how reasonable that really is but I wasn't too surprised. While doing that part of the repair, the serviceman noticed a small drip from the water inlet line - he didn't have a standard dishwasher hose on his truck, so said he would have had to order that and wanted another $180 to replace that hose - that's preposterous so I said I'd replace that part of the project (the parts were $15 at Home Depot!). Because of that drip, he didn't test his work. After I replaced the hose in the front of the dishwasher and turned it on, the dishwasher did not function correctly and a large amount of water (cups) spilled from under the center of the appliance, making me suspect that the pump replacement was faulty. We've called D & T again and asked for the serviceman to come back a third time and complete the job - but after this, NEVER AGAIN. Costs seem high...but most of all, the work was poorly done. Lack of testing of the work was really inexcusable. I will write an update if warranted.

Arrived on time. Within a few minutes of his arrival, repairman identified the problem and offered up a solution. He had the part in his truck. Repair took about an hour. He was quiet and kept his work area clean. I'm very happy with service and price.

It took 3 visits due to the trouble shooting that had to be done. The technician was very professional and explained what he was looking for and why it would take 2 more visits after the first visit. I was very impressed with how much effort they put into the trouble shooting and how fair they were regarding the fees. I was only charged the initial visit fee (about $96) and was never charged for any hourly fees even though they made three visits. I will use D&T Appliance Repair for any future repairs. I highly recommend D&T.

Went well. D & T technicians were able to diagnose the problem right away & they had the needed parts in the van. Was very happy to have a refrigerator again! Also received an Angie's discount.

This company allowed me to get the part myself from the stove company. The repair guy was fantastic, personable, professional, and did a great job. The manager was great. I will use this company again for any repair that is needed.
