Description of Work: The problem was not in the washer, but in the drainage system. they advised us to call a drain cleaning service, which we did. The drain cleaning service solved the problem. We were grateful that the appliance service quickly diagnosed the problem.

Description of Work: Al was right on time, and he called my cell phone so I could meet him when he arrived. He listened to my description of the the symptoms I had encountered with my dishwasher and then began a thorough investigation of the problems that would be consistent with what I had observed. After running the appropriate diagnostic tests, he found the underlying cause of the trouble and addressed it. My situation was not typical due to the design of my kitchen, but Al's knowledge and insight lead him to the solution. Al also spent extra time repairing some nuisance issues with the appliance I hadn't even brought to his attention. I found the quality of service, friendliness and professionalism of this company to be excellent. Description of Work: Water line in my refrigerator was not working. I contacted the manufacturer (it was under warranty) and they gave me three choices. After looking at Angie's list and talking to a friend who had the same issue I chose D & T. Their service tech came out and determined it was a faulty door and said they would have to order a new one. Once the new door came in, the same tech came back and installed it.

Description of Work: Bought a ball bearing assembly for my dishwasher. When I picked it up, I was given a good description of how to replace it myself, which was much appreciated and I was able to repair the dishwasher myself.

He suggested I buy a new one. He said I would be spending around $300 to fix my 15 yr. old washer and that I'd be much wiser to invest in a new one. Description of Work: The dryer had stopped working and was making a loud noise. The belt and blower wheel(?) had broken, and these were replaced dryer was also thoroughly cleaned inside.

Description of Work: Dwayne from D&T came out the day after I called, and was very professional. He explained the details of the problem (fan and motor had almost burnt out on our Sub-Zero refrigerator). He had the parts on hand and got the refrigerator up and running in no time. He also cleaned out the filter and area around the compressor etc. Fixed the ice-maker. Also gave us the Angie's List discount. Overall, very pleasant and professional.

Description of Work: My oven stopped working out of the blue, even though my gas range continued to work. I called D & T on a Friday afternoon and they were able to send someone out next Tuesday afternoon. The repair person was very nice and informative. He diagnosed a faulty igniter and even showed me the faulty part and disposed of it when he was done w/ the work. The tech called me that morning to tell me he'd be over between 2-5pm and he showed up at 3:30 pm. He put down a blanket on the kitchen floor while working to help control the mess and possible damage to tile, which I really appreciated and didn't ask to happen, he just did it on his own accord. Would call again in the future w/ other appliance issues.
