Blair was a pleasure to work with. He responded quickly to my request for an estimate and communicated his timeline for performing the work very clearly. I would highly recommend Bergo Environmental.

Bergo came highly recommended from a home insulation contractor, and I 100% echo their endorsement for asbestos abatement. Blair was quick to respond to all inquiries, and arrived on-time for each engagement. Removed about 300sq ft of tile in a 1911 basement, along with some wrapping around a pipe. Not only were they more affordable than other bids I received, but they took time to listen to concerns and provided solutions and answers to any questions. For peace of mind, Blair had a sample tested after Bergo removed the floor (using an independent lab), and the results confirmed the suspected asbestos. Look no further than these guys if you're ever in the same boat.

I called several companies and Blair at Bergo promptly answered on a Sunday evening and said he could come by the following day. Blair also communicated with me that evening via text to help identify the likelihood of asbestos based on pictures of the tile. Blair came by Monday around noon and we had the lab results later that evening which were thankfully negative. Working with Bergo has been such a positive experience especially given the uncertainty and fear when it comes to something like asbestos.

Blaire and his team were terrific! Everything was done exactly as planned. They even finished early. Blaire was great at working within our budget.

PS: Business is not owned by Jeff Bergo anymore. Blaire took over the business and he is a good person. My realtor had worked with Jeff many years and she referred Bergo to me. I called Blaire around 4pm on a Friday and he setup an appointment for the next day around 8am. He came out, was really polite and attentive. Asked about my concerns and responded to my questions. He took samples and gave me his opinion. He mentioned that the lab they use are the one the state uses and the owner of the lab comes to work from time to time on the weekends. He told me that I might hear back from him by Sunday. Worst case scenario Tuesday would be the latest. He emailed back with the results on Monday afternoon. Everything besides the basement 9x9 came back negative. He quoted me around 1450 for about 400 sq ft of tile and mastic removal which includes isolation and cleaning up. It sounds really fair and average price. I will be working with him in the future. As of now the basement tile can wait a month or two before anything is needed to be done with them.
