The dining room install when well. The problem that we ran into was the bedroom install. We didn't realize how much dust would be generated by them cutting the boards inside our house. I think that they ran into some difficulty because the product that we chose was somewhat difficult to install. (It was an engineered material called Trillium Fantasia. In the end, the product looks good, but the mess required us to get all of our stuff dry cleaned. To their credit, they gave us a discount to help offset the cost of dry cleaning.

Steve Belrose had worked for me 13 years ago but I don’t think he was interested in refinishing my floors. I had him come out and do some touch up work. They are kind of old wood floors and we can’t sand them down. There were scratches on the floors. So they came back to put down a coat in the hallway. The water based finish sits on top of the wood rather than blending with it. They were punctual and their price was reasonable. I would use their services in the future too.

Steve is a pro and from start to finish I felt like I was in good hands... he assisted in the selection of walnut and the decisions on how to finish the floor... we choose a glossy finish. The crew was professional, polite and took care not to break anything! When all was sadi and done Steve made sure many details I hadn't even thought about got taken care of... thinks like new wooden vent covers for the heat registers, bags of felt stickies fo rthe bottom of furniture and a nice cleaning mop and soap for keeping the floor looking good as new. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Steve Belrose to anyone who appreciates quality.

They showed up on time, got the job done on time and cleaned up after themselves perfectly! I can highly recommend!

He was fun to work with, and we learned a great deal about hardwood floors from him. The red oak floor is beautifully installed with lots of attention to detail. We've had a bit of trouble with the cork laying flat, but we have spoken to Steve and feel confident that a solution will be reached.
