Description of Work: I called Outback nursery to see if they had certain native trees and shrubs that I wanted to include in our landscaping instock. I drove out to Hastings to pick them up, and ending up talking with Emily, the garden manager for quite a long time. I always learn something new when I visit Outback Nursery. The quality of trees, shrubs, native grasses and plants is hard to match anywhere! It's worth the 1 hour drive for me!

Description of Work: Out Back Nursery sold us a variety of healthy, strong, native plants for our yard. They have an excellent selection of native plants that attract butterflies and other wildlife and are drought tolerant.

Description of Work: have frequently purchased native plants from Outback (planted myself.) The quality & variety of the native plants and landscaping materials are very good. Staff is always more than willing to answer questions and give helpful suggestions on the most appropriate plants for a location as well as care. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to focus on native landscaping.

+ -1 moreThey were terrific and the designer is just great to work with. They used only native plants based on what I wanted. I’m a bird watcher so I am very interested in providing food and shelter for the birds. I’ve had them do extensive work and they are just really really good. Erik listens to what I want and he was really interested in my yard. I told him that I wanted it to maintain itself so he was really contentious about designing something that would do that. They are very professional, they are very on time, and the workers have been the same every time. Those guys worked in the hottest weather one year and they plugged away all day long; I’m sure they did but I didn’t even see them take breaks. You pay for specialty work but I wasn’t overly concerned about the cost because it seemed reasonable and they stretched the job over three years. I plan on using them again next year.
Description of Work: Out Back Nursery & Landscaping has done my yard three years in a row. This last job they did a little landscaping on the North side of my lot.

+ -1 moreI worked with Eric, who was easy to work with. His plans were laid out well and were detailed. He discussed the work with me and we made some changes. I had also received 2 other proposals but I liked his the best. The guys came on time and did a good job. They planted all the plants were they needed to go and even moved a small tree for us. I really like the work they did. I plan on using them when I get the other areas done. I liked that they had a lot of native plants.
Description of Work: They gave us an estmiate on doing some work in our front yard, back yard and on the patio. I'm doing the work in stages and had them do some landscaping in my front yard first, a month ago.

+ -1 moreMy experience with them was excellent. The designer was great. He actually designed it and oversaw the installation. I think I had a good experience because of him. He was down to earth. He listened to me. He tried to incorporate what I wanted in to the design.
